Has anybody noticed a significant change in editing in the challenges???
So true! For a person who cant watch dailies, im dissapointed that theres no excitement when the show does air.
Has anybody noticed a significant change in editing in the challenges???
This is old news. I wrote that the RW and Challenge story editor had retired from BMP. They brought in a new story editor and recently moved on to yet another one.
It would not surprise me to learn that the new editor knows less about RW, RR and the challenges than many people who post here.
I would love to see that, and if that happened it would be quite refreshing to see.
My money's on Ev, but that's just my opinion =)
My money is on Rachel....that will be an AMAZING face-off
As for Ev vs Rachel, it would be something I'd like to see as well as a Jodi vs Rachel andd Jodi vs Ev. However, 2 of the 3 wouldn't welcome that faceoff because of fear of losing so my bet would be that they would try to befriend the game competitor or offer her sacrificial lambs in hoping for a major upset.
It was mentioned that Ev declined to do this challenge. I wish she had. Knowing Ev, if she was outside the alliance, she'd probably be trying to set up a duel between her and Rachel. Of course, just like we have seen in the past, there would be manipulation to vote for Ev in the vote so she isn't last - sans Duel 1, when everyone was scared of Beth.

Beth's reaction to last night's episode is that she doesn't understand why Ruthie expected anything different from Aneesa. The girl changes sides more often than she changes underwear.

This confuses me...do you mean that you wish she hadn't?
I would really like to see MARK and Rachel go into the duel. I dont know why people dont all vets in, its like they are gods and they are unbelieveably hard to beat.
I've never seen Mark in a duel in a VERY long time. And im pretty sure he would be beaten by some of those guys, if people actually tried.
Brad, i would love to see him go into the Duel because i think he is quite beatable too.
And of course on the first Battle of the Sexes, Ruthie was in the Inner Circle every time, so of course she was ahead of Rachel. I can't remember mission for mission how they did against each other, but Ruthie was clearly one of the top girls in the competition, and I can't remember Rachel having any major standout performances in BOTS.
If you will remember correctly, Rachel got sent home early from that challenge because shady Emily felt she was a threat - thats where the whole "this game is ugly" thing came from.
If you will remember correctly, Rachel got sent home early from that challenge because shady Emily felt she was a threat - thats where the whole "this game is ugly" thing came from.
Rachel was in 10th place out of 13 girls at that time, definitely not a threat to the inner circle, and it came down to her not having a friend in the inner circle like Tonya, Aneesa and Christina did. Rachel wasn't a threat at that time. Ruthie is not a bad player but I think she is vastly overrated because of her performance on her first challenge 7 years ago. The style of competitions and social politics has long since changed and it doesn't favor Ruthie, so the Ruthie of 2002 who was ranked 9 spots above the Rachel of 2002 doesn't pose the same threat. I think Rachel was reasonable to be concerned with Ruthie but not to the extent that Ruthie was essential to eliminate.
It is ironic, though, how this one played out in parallel to Battle of the Sexes. Ruthie wanted to give last place Aneesa a second chance so she voted out Rachel. This time around, Aneesa played into Rachel's game and let Ruthie fall by the wayside.

I have to agree on the Brad thing. As much as I am beginning to love him for his personality, his track record is middle of the pack, at best.
Incoming spoiler...
The fact that he beats Landon because Landon has a shoulder injury outrages me, but that might just be the Landon fanatic in me
In my humble opinion, Landon, Mark, and Evan are the top with Derek and Brad at their coattails.
I really wish Rachel would go into a duel. I dislike the way she plays the game. Physically, she is the biggest girl and she's got one fit body. Maybe its just that I still cannot get over that even Kelly Anne beat her in a sitting on a log not moving contest.

Somebody that finally agrees! I found the shining light!

I am going to have to agree and disagree with you, for the simple fact that Brad was one of 2 left standing in the first Duel. Granted CT would have taken him out had it not been for a ripped flag, but he was still one of the last competitors there. I do agree with you you on the Spoiler, I love me some Landon.
And I too, want to see Rachel go into a duel.

I'd like to see Rachel go into the Duel as well just for the sake of seeing her fight to stay and keep that top spot she has in the game. Brad had a good chance to win that last leg in the first Duel. He stands closer to the top of the pack I believe
This season sucks, everything is a routine. Two bad seasons in a row, great. Can't wait for The Pit!
I agree it's getting VERY predictable now. There's no upsets, There's very little Drama, and Nobody seems to want to shake things up.
I like Evan. But after seeing this episode I understand why many people here at Vevmo dislike him. I mean it was not nice what he did to Diem during the challenge,he let her go and said"Enjoy the ride" and then you could see on his face that he was laughing on a sort of disturbing way.

Yet, it was one of the funny spots on the show. Diem was being annoying, and at hundreds of feet in the air when you are trying to hold on for dear life, the last thing you need in someone pestering you about going into the Duel.
She was rather annoying imo.

We didn't actually see him say that, and to me it sounded piped in. For all we know he said something like "I'm sorry Diem, at least enjoy the ride" in a confessional and it was cut up and pasted over the fall.

I'm equally suspicious of the editing.
The episode was good, but it seems to me that they don't elaborate on anything they put into the episode.
Although, the girl's Duel was probably the best one yet! Good job Kim!
I will admit I chuckled at that part, but thought it was kinda mean, but funny.
It wasn't mean, Diem was annoying as ****.
Evan's smirk when he let go of Diem was hilarious, how can you not love that smile?
Agreed TJ. I still am #1 Landon fan, but Evan is earning major points with me as of late. I have no idea why except his funny commentary. Not quite Mark status yet, but getting there.
Any guy who can entertain me is okay in my book. Minus Isaac's toenail Fernando.

****!!! That toenail was horrifying, LOL. And Landon hacked it all to ****...I wonder if Isaac was serious about being ****** about it or just being Isaac and going with the flow.

Wow Beth still watches these shows??
What is going on - Evan wins two challenges against weak players and turns against an annoying Paula and suddenly he's everyones #1 player??
I have always liked Evan, I don't know what your talking about.
