That is not true. He originally arrives in the house with Jonna. They knew each other going into the show and evidently work(ed?) together.

Small world. Out of all the people that apply, I feel like the chances of two people knowing each other on this show are very slim, even slimmer that they actually worked together.

It's actually nothing new. Waaay back in Seattle David and Nathan knew each other beforehand, and I believe one or both of them also knew Rebecca. Still, it is interesting. I think that season they said "Seven people" as opposed to "seven strangers" living in a house. Could be wrong though.
