Wait, what is this all about? We have better Beth sources than TMZ!
But, TMZ has that long haired silly blond kid.
But, TMZ has that long haired silly blond kid.
Very true. We just can't compete with that type of journalistic tour de force. :wink2:
Very true. We just can't compete with that type of journalistic tour de force.
I was threatened with diaper duty, so my silence is assured. ;)
Lol
I was threatened with diaper duty, so my silence is assured. ;)
Yeah I feel you there!! Especially if it is a boy...I got hosed the other day by my nephew...it was an ongoing attack that I could not escape...that baby has better aim than most grown men I know, LOL.
If she's had the baby yet, send her my congratulations! I'm happy for her and her husband.
Beth will definitely not accept an invitation to any "Island" format challenge. Fortunate, neither would many viewers, so I don't think we need be too concerned. As I've written numerous times, Beth and some other women would love to do a Battle of the Sexes. There is a lot of payback that needs to take place. Presumably by the next challenge, Beth will be sufficiently experienced to change the boy's diapers when necessary.
I hope the next challenge is a Battle Of The Sexes!! i hope to see the girls actually win more than like 5 missions. The girls did a lot better in the first battle of the sexes than in the second one. I'd like it if they would use the point system again and with the inner-circle being the top 3 performers =) Hopefully Beth wont get screwed over if there is a battle of the sexes.
But, TMZ has that long haired silly blond kid.
Ha!! I know right! I look at him on TMZ on tv and I think to myself "Is he for real?" Surf's up, MAN! LoL @ V changing diapers for baby Beth! Awwww ;)
Oh, I loved the pre-casting for the Hawaii season and the surprise that Colin was going to be on the show. I wish they still did a pre-show, show.
I agree with B! The pre-show/casting specials were the BEST! They have to bring the casting specials back. They won't. But still.
I agree with B! The pre-show/casting specials were the BEST! They have to bring the casting specials back. They won't. But still.
Can someone explain how it worked?
Can someone explain how it worked?
They used to bring back some real world/road rules alumni (sometimes it would be people who had not been seen in awhile) and they would host the shows. You would be able to see casting videos & interviews from the finalists and semi finalists of the show. Some times they would even let previous cast members interview the new kids as part of the interview process. You would learn alot about the people from these shows, and it would always be comical to hear the alum's reaction to the new kids. I do think that one of the best specials was B2NY, because they had a minireality show with the casting special. The cast members & semifinalists for The Real world and The Quest (I think) got to hang out and then they were told at the end of the week who would be on the shows, but they were not told where they wuld actually be going, rw or rr.
^From what I remember, the special would be focused on the finalists from which Real World and Road Rules would be selected from. Earlier casting specials/preshows would have more people than the actual cast members chosen. Some of the audition tapes and interviews with the finalists would be shown. A cast member or two from a former show would often be involved, in hosting or some capacity. For the RW Back to New York and RR The Quest seasons (both 10th seasons), they had all the finalists together at the same location for a few day interacting with each other. I don't remember seeing that one, unfortunately, but people have talked about it a lot on other boards. I thought Colin was a cast member they told was rejected, but they really had picked him for the show. I really thought it was a setup. So this revealed show gave me a new piece of information regarding that. EDIT: xxmegzybabyx beat me to it.

And at the end of it...I think it was Jon and Mary Ellis (i could be wrong) that brought him into a room and was like.... "ok so we want your thoughts...THIS is how we see the cast so far" and in the center was a picture of him (Colin) with six question marks around him. and wa-la! We got Colin.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but his attitude changed. Oh, and I just hated Amaya/Colin. It was not cute at all...
Me too. Colin was just not my cup of tea.

I thought they just let him think he was rejected but they planned on using him the whole time. Now I know for sure that they truly did reject him and changed their mind.

I never got why everybody loved Colin so much. He was an arrogant ***** for the most part. And I always thought it was so awkward how he went out and basically shoved it in the other reject's face that he had got cast, lol. BTW, I miss the casting specials. :( THe best was the New Orleans one.
this was really good! i loved watching old austin footage on my tv, even though i have it on my ipod.
I could not agree more with that. I thought it was going to be crazy repetitive but I liked hearing from Mr. Murray and the crew moreso than the cast members! It was a good 90 min piece.
Ummm what was the special they had [[that basically aired once]] that cast members talked about their experience in the household and how it impacted their lives during and after airing?? I don’t know if it was the secrets revealed one because I don’t remember any secrets being reveled [obviously]..but after I saw that particular special, from then on, i definitely wanted an ever lasting experience to share and grow from...I think I even shed a tear *shrugs shoulders* can't remember
Ooohh nvm that was the same special..I looked it up hehe.
Just a heads up, this is on again today at 6:30 PM ET.

I caught some of it...It was the same exact thing. MTV=Fail.
How in the hell did Andre wind up on here? He looks good, I could see him doing a Challenge. Is Heather confirmed as retired? And what was Andre remembered for during his season?
Heather doing another challenge would make my life complete, but I don't see it happening. I don't think she'd last long.
its still on mtv.com =)
