Robin Hibbard, the 29 year old resident of Tampa Florida who first came to the small screen on the MTV reality television show The Real World is currently pregnant. A source close to Robin indicates that the child was conceived sometime before the most recent Real World/Road Rules challenge filmed in New Zealand , The Duel 2 and that she is expect to give birth in June. I'm told it's a boy. No word on the identity of the father, although it is not another cast member.

Is she with the father?
woah!! did not expect that. Congrats to her!
Oh boy...just when I thought Evan was completely full of shit...
So Evan was not joking about that? The way he went on about it made me think it could be the truth. And as I said earlier, I am now glad she was eliminated earlier in the challenge, for her health and the baby's health. Thanks Bacchus for posting this. I wish Robin and baby the best of luck. Take care.
Shocking news. I guess this explains why she won't be doing the next challenge?
WOW!
Congratulations, Robin.
Good for her, hopefully she has been sober for the past 7 months...
Wow, glad for her having a baby. Hope she will be careful and safe.

When was Evan talking about Robin being pregnant? I think I missed something...

We approached Robin not long after the challenge to see if she wanted to make the announcement on her terms. She declined as was her right. She did not know that she was pregnant. It would have been a contract violation -- and a monumentally serious one -- to have known and not informed BMP. It could/would have voided BMP's production insurance. Evan is a complete ****** and no friend of Robin's for talking about something that was not his business.
Awww.. I love Robin. Good for her.
Good for her, hopefully she has been sober for the past 7 months...
While I am pretty sure she drank while on the Challenge, you can't fault her imo since she didn't know she was pregnant, that can happen to anyone.
While I am pretty sure she drank while on the Challenge, you can't fault her imo since she didn't know she was pregnant, that can happen to anyone.
Oh yea, I agree, but I do hope she got herself under control once she realized it, I have always liked Robin and was concerned with the direction the Island dailies showed her taking, I hope a new addition to her life has helped her

Agreed sean, I really hope this changes her, and am glad to see her have a child.
Wow! Congrats to Robin

Good for her. I think its time for her to move on in life anyways. V1 do you know if the Duel 2 was her last challenge?

Sorry if I caused any trouble posting the interview. Since it has been online for awhile now and no one made a big deal out of it, I ***umed he was joking about most of the things he said. Hope it bites him in the ***.

I didn't want to post this story and have known (as did most of the cast) for months. Evan forced my hand. I was content with Robin going to term and not saying a word. However, once the cat is out the bag there is not much that can be done other than clarifying the information and wishing my best to Robin.

That made me not want to dismiss him saying she's pregnant as just a joke (as we were discussing in the speculation thread). But the rest of this information is good to know. I agree that it's not really a good thing that he leaked out the information in an interview. I thought about it after reading the interview. I don't know if he meant to do it in a malicious or gossipy way, though, but still, whatever the case, with him being someone who is a peer of hers (not necessarily friends, but of course they do these shows together), it wasn't in the best taste for him to spill that. Maybe he was thinking the information was out there for people already. I don't know. I think sometimes there is a thin line with people on these shows on whether to talk about certain things, but a pregnancy in particular is something I think is best left up to the person who is pregnant.
I just think he is a terrible person and had no right saying this when it was Robin's decision.
V, could Robin sue him for defamation of character with the statements he made in that interview? They seem a little harsh.
Wow, thats great. I'm happy for Robin, and hope her pregnancy is going well. I'm 29 weeks along with my first and having a boy, due July 7. I've never been happier, and I'm feeling great, so I hope she's having just as great of an experience. I'm curious about the policy regarding being on a challenge while pregnant. I could have sworn that several years back, a female was on a challenge and knew she was expecting. I'm thinking it was Cynthia from Miami, but I'm not sure. I certainly don't blame Robin for not knowing she was pregnant. She would have just been in the first few weeks of her pregnancy. But I'm surprised production doesn't test for such things if they're worried about the liability.
V, could Robin sue him for defamation of character with the statements he made in that interview? They seem a little harsh.
Suing is easy. Winning is the hard part.
Suing is easy. Winning is the hard part.
Actually, on second thought, he is a resident of Canada, so I'm not certain that suing is all that easy...
