I am excited for the Pit Stop show down tonight and to see how this leg plays out. It could be really predictable or end up with a big surprise, maybe of Mike and Mark making it through their speed bump, that helps to fuel the blow-up!
I think that they should lose the speed bump when a team comes in last on a non-elimination leg. It was quite clear that Mike and Mark were not in the race this episode. As happens so often, the team that gets the speed bump is hours behind, right out of the gate. Maybe instead of a penalty that causes them to lose time, they should instead make them lose spirit. Have them wear a giant diaper or something, lol. I'm not sure what to say about the confrontation at the Pit Stop. I am not a huge fan of either of those teams at this point and feel that they are both acting a bit childish (well, everyone but Margie being she is only standing up for her son.) Tammy and Victor are my team at this point (even though they were a bit backhanded on this leg with the use of their Chinese fluency to attempt to handicap their competitors.) Still, with the remaining field, I think that they still stand above the rest. Jaime & Cara were not that bad this week, until Jaime just about lost it with the dance instructors. ANYONE SPEAK ENGLISH! *steam coming out of head* Anyway, I am not sure if that was the best Pit Stop ever, but overall it was a good episode, even if the outcome was clear from minute one.
The best part of some of these slower moving episodes comes when watching the credits at the end. The producer's names are among the most amusing on TV. Yes, I'm presently starved for entertainment... That aside, Margie and Luke have gone from interesting to annoying to ugly. It is annoying to have have discovered evidence provided by Andy Denhart that production once again decided to show us the cast as one dimensional. Why have they hidden from us that two of the final four teams have homosexual team members?
I liked this episode. The "clue box confrontation" between Luke and Kisha wasn't anything so big. I like Luke and Margie, better than Kisha and Jenn, just because I think Margie is an amazing competitor for her age. I actually like them and Jamie and Cara the best. I think Luke and Kisha were both childish, to be honest. Margie was trying to stick up for her son. I think she knew that Kisha and Jenn didn't mean to laugh at him signing, but you can see she just got fed up and she was protecting her son. Jamie seems like she just has PMS 24/7. Cara isn't bad at all. I think it's kind of funny. Especially when she gets so frusterated.

I could've guessed Kisha, but Luke was a surprise- why not show that he is marginalized in yet ANOTHER way? He has probably had an extremely hard life with being both deaf and gay, and I further admire and respect Margie for standing up for her son (and standing by him as well). I must say that after watching the first incident, I think it was truly a misunderstanding- as punctuated by Phil. Jen believed he pushed her/body checked her- I thought he was just trying to bend down to get the clue.... however, if you look at it closely, she grabs his shirt and pulls before that incident.... it was wrong of him to elbow her, and wrong of her to grab him in any physical way. I think they both were wrong... The second incident was Jen's fault IMHO. She channeled her anger into elbowing him back in retaliation- not a good move. I agree Bacchus- kudos to Margie for correcting her son in the car about the physical aspect, but also standing up to him when the girls had the giggles. And Kisha saying that they were only giggling nervously strikes me as crap considering their comments about laughing to further anger others. Overall, I hope Kisha and Jen go next time, as I think the 'alliance' would be the most interesting 3 to fight at the end- and I can't decide who I'd want to leave then!!!
Tammy and Victor looked so awkward at the pit stop and like they just wanted to get the hell outta there! Go Margie go! My eyebrows raised a bit when she was going off. I agree, it was fairly obvious that Mark and Michael were never a threat in this episode. If they had a smaller time deficit, they definitely could've done something (as they actually look like they made up a bit of time) I definitely want Kisha and Jen to go home next week, and the previews make it look like they will, but I like how it hasn't been one team on the top all the time and they're spreading out the trips amongst the teams. :)
Tammy and Victor looked so awkward at the pit stop and like they just wanted to get the hell outta there!
Haha, I saw that too. They had their heads dipped and their body language said, "Calgone take me away!"
I had no idea Luke was gay. That was interesting to find out. haha Tammy and Victor seemed very uncomfortable, as would any team not involved in the fight. I think Victor is a little too HAPPY sometimes...

Thanks B. for the info! I wonder why they didn't mention it. I knew Jennifer was gay, but not luke.

Sorry I meant Kisha, not Jen. I sometimes get confused with them. The same with Cara and Jamie I get confused with them.
