Jon Murray described the process last Dec in NYC. In short, there are as many "rounds" as necessary for the casting people to have 56 candidates to present to him. After that point, the process changes to an internal one where they turn for assessing individuals to assessing a collective mix of people to produce the best mix eight who might not be who you would otherwise describe as the "top eight."
It sounds complicated! I thought only like 100 hundred made it to the point where you have to send in that tape. I guess its a lot more ppl then we expected!

Given the recent finish of Cancun taping, it would be a monumental achievement for the one BMP RW team to have a property ready by July, especially if it is in DC. Summers are brutal here, the Congress is in recess (thankfully) and the best nightlife disappears until the Fall.
If there is to be a RW in DC, there are enough vevmo members in the area that I'm sure we'll have the place well covered.
It seemed too soon to me but you never know with these things.
Plus my bf is not that far in casting, [I][COLOR="Cyan"]crossing our fingers for the next one-on-one interview.[/COLOR][/I]
I read other threads saying it takes about 3 months after you first start the process before they pick who goes in the house

Ginger, those that have made it significantly far are discouraged from posting and talking about it here [I]while they are in the process.[/I] Some may come after to share what they've been through, only once they know they are not chosen.
BMP specifically asks people what sites they post at and belong too. And as we here at Vevmo understand, it's not that hard to figure out who people are, and it could ruin their chances of being cast.

If true, what perfect timing. I'm just about to move out of DC.
I'm in Phase 4 -- but as stated earlier, we cannot reveal any information about ourselves or the process. I think I have a pretty good shot so I'm not gonna f this up.
