The Duel II: Spoiler Discussion

It seems like eventually everyone becomes their own worst enemy. Not to rehash old challenges, but if you really look at it. BOTSexes, Veronica was a "victim" to Emily, and we know how that turned out. Then BOTSexes 2, Veronica and co. were calling the shots and getting rid of rookies ala Angela, Kina, and Cameran. Then Gauntlet 2 Kina ran things and Cara and Susie were on the other side, then Inferno 3 came and they were the masterminds. It's crazy. And Paula/Johnny/Austin Cast were the ones targeted and now they seem to be in charge. Kinda funny really... But to bring this back to the topic at hand, I think I remember reading that Evan makes it to the end, but does Landon as well? I hope Landon can outlast at least part of that alliance. I also wish Brad was not in an alliance with Evan of all people. Ugh.

I am not saying he is some saint, but he is definitely not like Evan, but siding himself with Evan will do him good.

Everyone in NZ was convinced that Landon would easily make it to the end. He is an animal physically. Unfortunately, in the very last days of the challenge he was badly injured and could not continue. When we get to that point in the season, I'll fill in the details from some cast members if what happened in not fully shown.

God this challenge must be brutal. Everyone is getting injured. LOL.

Brad, Mark and Evan. The alliance thing worked once again.

Well I stated before that Rachel is going to be in every single episode so, we all know she is one of the three females. Someone metion they saw Brittini in the final mission, in the trailer, so yes she is one of the other girls. V1 said Diem got kicked out, so that leaves Anessa and Tori, and you guys won't believe who makes it to the end ;-)

Sooo, What is up with Brittini and Landon is what I want to know...they looked pretty close in the shots of them, and we all know that they are both each others type...Do they hook up I wonder?

I would be happy for Brittini if indeed she is one of the three female winners, I liked her on her season. Tori and Aneesa, I feel indifferent about those two - but has Aneesa ever won a challenge? (it escapes my memory).

I didn't think Britini and Landon were sipping each other's koolaid but I did wonder if they formed an alliance pre show. I was surprised when he chose to save her. I thought I read earlier in the thread something to the effect that they may end up in an alliance by circumstance (I'm probably misquoting that all over the place) but it seemed like they already had some sort of friendship going into this?

The "saving" order from episode one can serve as a decent introduction to the same thinking that may have gone into any mission that required a partner in some way.

So something very random. But I saw the TV preview of the next episode. It's the ice cube challenge. Now this may or may not be true, but I think Brooke outlasts Robin? By one challenge/episode atleast? Haha, it's not a big deal, I just find it neat, knowing that Brooke might not be the 2nd girl gone?

Nevertheless, I am starting to think that V1man and Bacchus actually did twist the reporting order of who went home purpose. They even mentioned to us that there was no order as to who was sent home, but I refused to believe it - UNTIL NOW! Anyway, from deducing the previews and commercials, I saw the following MJ vs Ryan in the plank duel Jenn/Tori vs Kim in the plank duel Diem vs Tori/Jenn in the plank duel Aneesa vs Paula - Back Off Brittani vs Brooke - Back off 2 men (both wearing blue shirts) climbing up a spiked pole, I think Eric vs Derek, but I am not 100%. What I am 100% sure on or close to it is that each person has a specific colored shirt that they wear just like they did in Duel 1. Reds - Aneesa, Evan, Mark, Shavon, Dunbar Brown - Brad Yellow - Issac Green - MJ, Diem, Landon, Ryan, Nehemiah, Kim Maroon - Brooke, Paula, Davis Lt. Blue - Jenn, Tori Grey - Brittani, Rachel, Nick Blue - Eric, Derek, Katie, Ruthie Purple - Robin These colors matched with looking at the previews give quite a bit in the duels and a few of the challenges where they aren't wearing something different

[/quote] Here's what I saw: Jenn/Kim Diem/Tori This is based on my opinion that Jenn has thicker legs and Tori is a bit taller.

It has been revealed on this page that Landon does not make the final 4. It is very clear that he is in a duel with Brad - Back off, and they're 6 people off to the side watching, which imo meant this was perhaps the last male duel. When the winners was posted, I was in disbelief since seeing the previews. However, with this new info, it all makes sense. There is no way I saw Brad winning that duel other than DQ ala Brad vs Ct (Push Me)

From the previews, she is facing off against Robin in the push off plank duel and she has Ruthie's hook trying to hang it in another duel. I believe she won those 2. If Jenn did beat Kim, that means that she was in at least 2 duels. I think that means Diem will be in a "few" duels.

I'm curious to know now that we mention the 6 winners (Evan, Brad, Mark, Rachel, Anessa, and Brittini), what position do you guys think they end up in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

That is a significant piece into trying to figure out the details of some of the spoils? I guess even with the spoils, as you can see, there is a bevy of interest with this challenge.
