How does this season compare to the last few?
What do you think of this season as compared to the past few seasons? I can tell you for a certainty that I thought the Denver was unwatchable when the cameras trained on that one girl... forgot her name, but she was an attention $%^&*(). It just came across as if she was deliberately acting out for the camera, bothered the **** out of me. Ultimately I think the seasons strength is in large part determined by the interest in the individual people on the show itself, but I know there is some contention on this point being the driving force of interest. So lets see what many others say, how do YOU think this season compares to recent previous seasons?

If I were you I'd watch who I talked about from the Denver cast around here. ;)

Wait who are you guys talking about?....Oh wait I know I won't say that person's name. But Honestly I think that this season is good. It didn't focus so much on drunken *** and arguments. it was people actually doing things for themselves and doing interesting things.
I didn't watch Denver and Sydney, but I did watch RW Hollywood. I think I prefer this season to it, although I must say I enjoyed Brooklyn more earlier on than I do now. I think in some ways this cast was presented more as multifaceted instead of one note, compared to Hollywood. In part by production, and in part by the cast themselves. I think maybe I enjoyed the personalities of this cast better, too. Even when one of the cast members did something I disagreed with or didn't like, something else about them made me think they were OK.
I would say this season is MUCH better than Sydney, Hollywood and especially Denver BUT it falls short and is not as entertaining as Key West.
I would Say the Brooklyn season is one of the best real world seasons. I would say it easily makes my top 3 best seasons. Sydney and Hollywood are in my top 3 worst real world seasons.
Why doesn't anyone like RW Hollywood? I really enjoyed it.
I enjoyed Hollywood as well hotboih, and a lot of people do, because it did show some steps in the right direction, but didn't provide the right story, and editors kinda killed the season for the cast members. I would have to say that Brooklyn tops the past 6 seasons easily.
Why doesn't anyone like RW Hollywood? I really enjoyed it.
I didn't hate the season. I just liked Brooklyn better, and it was the only other season of the last few that I'd seen, so that was my only comparison point. I just liked the feel of Brooklyn better. I also agree with Dartagnan that the producers tried to get back to the roots of RW first with Hollywood, but I think they didn't execute it right. I think the improv classes kind of impeded them, for one.
This season is an ok season but definitely not one of the best seasons by a long shot. The Hollywood season was much better. Denver was much better. It might be better than the Austin season because that one was on the boring side. Key West too.
I liked Hollywood because it was the most tolerable one since Austin. I haven't watched Brooklyn consistently but I liked what I've seen of it. It's not the best season ever but not the worst either.
I myself enjoyed both Hollywood and Brooklyn.

A few things come to mind when i think of the hollywood season. Trashy, tacky, distasteful, uninspiring, chaotic, crazy, little diversity etc.

Personally, I love the direction they took for this season. I like that they are not all belligerent all the time. It is not about random hook ups, and the hot tub this season has gotten way less air time, than previous seasons ;)
Shoot, I forgot they even HAD a hot tub!
I know huh! Back to the good ole days when the pool table was the happening spot in the house.

But I have to admit, I would rather see the partying than an entire episode about the rats in the house.

I liked Brooklyn. I like the cast members but as for the season, it got really boring at the end. Hollywood was the most entertaining season they have had in a long time. I didn't care for Denver and I did not like Sydney at all. I don't think I even remembered watching Sydney, I think I skipped the last half of the season. I've been watching since Back to New York. I really enjoyed B2NY, Chicago, and San Diego. I just re-watched the Key West reunion and I forgot that I liked that season also.
This season was good to me. I like that they tried to go back what the Real World was about in the 1st place. They tried this on Hollywood last year but I think this season did it better. And to be honest yes the drunken fights and hookups are entertaning and all but how many seasons have we've seen that though? This season was a breath of fresh air because it wasn't about getting drunk and ****ing in the house. They actually did INTERESTING things and took advantage of their time there and for that I am happy. So yeah this season is one of my favorites.
If you guys like some of the partying and diversity, than I think you would like Cancun. I know that I will.

I could care less if they get drunk and hook up,as long as there are some real issues they are dealing with, its fine with me.
