Celebrity Apprentice 2
The Celebrity Apprentice 2 I'm not too personally familiar with much of the cast but last season was very good so I hope the same will ring true. I read that every episode is going to be 2 hours though, I feel like that's overkill.
I'll be watching. I'm a reality junky and this stuff fits my profile.
I will definitely be watching. I am a big fan of The Apprentice. Here is a list of the cast: Annie Duke (Poker Champion) Scott Hamilton (Figure Skating Champion) Melissa Rivers (TV Host / Producer) Brian McKnight (R&B Star) Joan Rivers (Comedienne) Andrew Dice Clay (Comedian) Brande Roderick (Playboy Playmate) Dennis Rodman (NBA Star) Clint Black (Country Star) Jesse James (Entrepreneur / TV Star) Claudia Jordan (Model, Deal or No Deal) Tom Green (Comedian) Natalie Gulbis (Golf Champion) Tionne Watkins (R&B Star / TLC) Khloe Kardashian (Reality Star)
I enjoyed the first episode. I was glad that Dice went home. I can't stand him. Rodman is in the same grouping as you can tell he is not there to win. I am actually not sure why he is there. Annie is as annoying as all ****, but she does back up that mouth so I guess that is what this show is all about. I think I am secretly pulling for Tom Green. Something seems different about him. Like he grew up or something...
I forgot this came on last night! I guess I will just have to watch it on the internet. ;)
I think I am secretly pulling for Tom Green. Something seems different about him. Like he grew up or something...
Oh me too! I think he is a dark horse. On the men's team I'm pulling for Tom, Scott Hamilton, and Brian McKnight (Love him!!). For the girls, well, as a team I like them but individually I think I'm rooting for T-Boz, and I'm not writing off Joan Rivers. Obnoxious? Yes. Good leader and motivater? That too. She did well last night. Oh Andrew Dice Clay...."I'm the greatest comedian of all time!" Uh, what??? I was just waiting for Trump to say: "Little Miss Muffett, sat on a tuffett, and said, YOUR FIRED, *******!" :D
OK back from vacation. I've missed tons of shows and had no idea this was starting up. Got back right before it started! Did anyone else notice how much Khloe Kardashian looked like she did NOT want to be there? If not, and you have it DVRd, go back to the moment where Don announces how much they women raised for their charity...or any other moment.
It is time for The Apprentice! :D Is anybody watching?
I am letting my DVR get a 16 minute lead. ;)

I'll be watching when its 800 here :D
Thoughts on the first half:

That Executive, um...he should probably make his first priority finding a personality.
As I suspected, Denis Rodman is going to be worthless on this show unless you enjoy his sidetracked fantasy world.
Melissa Rivers is first cl*** annoying.
Clint needs to chill out a bit. He really was being a bit obnoxious.
I love how the "bad ***" Jesse James is actually the most level headed player on the men's team. I think he is going to go far.
Scott doesn't really fit in with the group and he is about a foot shorter than everyone else.
The comic book geeks and the girls was priceless, lol.
Brande is striking and smart. I think she is my favorite on the girls team. I also like Claudia (If I had to choose a naked twister partner.)
I am glad that Scott went home. Not because he is a bad person, but rather because he dismissed Tom out of hand without truly listening to him. Sure, Tom can probably be one of the most annoying people on earth, but during this task he was generally trying to help and he called out Scott on the name which was ultimately why the men lost. It was a no brainer for Trump to fire him. Tom has some serious claws and I am generally impressed with the way that he handles himself. You can tell that he is a very smart guy trapped in a kids mentality. When he started pummeling Scott and Company in the board room I was impressed. Sadly, I think next week he is going to be sent home (unless that was a reverse psychology teaser or Rodman flakes permanently.) As far as the task itself, the Celebs failed miserably and Zappos.com is devoid of EEE or Mizz Z. I'm thinking that I could have thrown together a better idea in 10 minutes. BTW: I don't like Clint at all. I'd like to see him go next although Hershel is also at the top of my list (along with Melissa and Annie.)
I get why Scott treated Tom the way he did, but I felt bad for Tom. He's a trooper though. He's not going to let anyone push him to the side or let hurt feelings get him down. I bet he does have ADHD, because my daughter has a lot of the same behaviours and traits. Tom needs to chill out a bit though, because no one is going to listen to you when all they hear is noise coming out of your mouth. I was very impressed with the way he handled himself in the board room. So I know it is possible for him to be focused when he has to be. Scott was not a good leader. Period. Not only did he get fired for the name, he got fired for his intolerance of Tom when it was clear that if they just listened to him they could have won the challenge. Trump wasn't impressed with the constant dismissal of Tom. I groaned when I saw that Tom Green was going to be on this year. Can they find anyone more annoying? Oh yes, Andrew Dice Clay. Thank God, he got fired the first episode! I wouldn't mind if Dennis was the next to go. This is celebrity apprentice and if you are not willing to use your celebrity, then why sign up???? I can't stand Annie Dukes... I'm loving Joan Rivers, but I'm sure she'll annoy me in no time at all. I had to snicker...just because you've written 4 screen plays and what ever else was on her resume does not mean that you can write well. LOL I would like to see if Melissa confronts anyone about calling her out in the board room about her idea. Up until that issue, I thought she was okay. Jesse James is as cool as a cucumber, but even he has his limits. I wouldn't be surprised if he and Clint go at it in the very near future.
I was very impressed with the way he handled himself in the board room. So I know it is possible for him to be focused when he has to be.
That was the funny part. He went from Tom Green to this other guy (who probably is the real Tom Green.) I also saw his name on the cast list and let out a sigh and then an even bigger one when I saw Andrew Dice Clay and Rodman. Rodman needs to go as he doesn't want to be there and shouldn't be there. He is not the first celebrity I think of when it comes to business acumen. I too was laughing when Joan talked about all her Broadway plays and such. I was wondering to myself, what in the world could they have been about and how much did they suck? That aside, I always change the channel the moment I see Joan on TV (although she seems like a calmer version of her normal self) and especially turn the channel when her daughter is on. I don't see the entertainment value in talking about what celebrities are wearing, I guess. I am on team Jesse now and I agree that he is going to snap and take someones head off with a band saw. Maybe a welders torch. Oh, and I have to be on team Brande just because she is ummm.....well, you know! :D BTW: When Tom said he wrote 4 feature films I let out a giggle. Does he really expect us to count Freddy got Fingered as a feature film? Haha!
I was happy they sent Scott home. No, I don't think he made a good project manager. I didn't think Tom was running around hyper, he asked questions. A lot of questions lol, but I think you should ask a lot of questions. My opinion of Clint Black is going down. Not at all what I had imagined he act like. I'm glad Jesse spoke up about him. I think Khloe did a good job, I'm happy for her. I'm surprised that I like Brande and the Deal or No Deal girl, except when she said they made her go home and she didn't want to. You could clearly hear her ask if she could go home. Well, maybe they all told her to go home and didn't air it, but from what they showed that's my opinion lol.
BTW: When Tom said he wrote 4 feature films I let out a giggle. Does he really expect us to count Freddy got Fingered as a feature film? Haha!
Daddy would you like some sausage! I'm the backwards man, the backwards man. I can walk backwards as fast as you can! hahaha hey, Freddy Got Fingered isn't perfect - but he's written 4 more feature films than I have! haha (Oh, my favorite part from Freddy is when he keeps taunting his brother about the La Baron Convertible. "Are there 2 convertible's with '#1 Son' printed on the license plate??" hahaha) Ok...I'm kind of a Tom fan...esp. The Tom Green Show. I wonder what Glenn Humplick is up to. Anyways, I'll be keeping up with this and I can't wait to see 1. Annie fired and 2. Joan flip out on someone. Can't wait. haha
Tom went down hard. He was absolutely terrible. Trump would have fired both of them had it not been for the fact that Rodman is one of the only real "celebrities" on the show with any mass appeal. He almost sounded like he was begging at the end when he asked Dennis to try harder. I am loving Brande. It was great to see that she came away with such a large financial victory for her charity. There is no question at this point that the women are leaps and bounds ahead of the men with a good chance that the top three is all women. Next week could be very interesting. Rodman looked about 3 feet taller than Clint in the "Rodman meltdown" teaser clip, lol. Actually, Clint was not all that bad this week so maybe his edit has turned a corner. I just can't pull for Dennis. I want serious contenders in the home stretch so all the dead weight needs to go now...

He's def. next on the chopping block for Kotu. I've never seen the show before, so I can't really compare it to other seasons, but it's not bad! Really, I only wanted to tune in to see Tom and Tionne (who hasn't even said like 3 words!)
I was kind of sad to see Claudia go but Trump really didn't have another choice (and I know how it pains him to fire the eye candy.) Melissa Rivers is quite honestly the most annoying person on this great earth. It is too bad there was not more of a reason to let her go. I almost wish the men lost so they could have gotten rid of Rodman as he has no business being on this show. Looks like maybe that will come next week.

So does Clint lol Yeah...I agree though, Claudia had to go. Melissa is annoying as shit but she was gettin' the job done. Would like to see Melissa be a Project Manager though! I'm still waiting for Joan Rivers to flip out on someone. Fingers crossed, everyone! Overall...I'm enjoying the season. 85 minutes is way too long of an episode though.

Brian McKnight FTW!! :D **** I love him....
Brian McKnight FTW!!
I'll be honest. This show was the first time I had ever heard of him. Actually, this show is the first time I have heard of many of these "celebrities!" i.e. Annie, Brande, Claudia, Brian, Tionne.
Sheesh B where's your sense of soul/r&b?! LOL Brian McKnight sings a LOT Of great songs: Back at One, Anytime, Everytime You Go Away (My personal favorite). I saw him in concert a few years back and I swear to God it was all I could do not to throw my panties at him and start crying. Ok I've said to much....back on topic!! :D
I'll be honest. This show was the first time I had ever heard of him. Actually, this show is the first time I have heard of many of these "celebrities!" i.e. Annie, Brande, Claudia, Brian, Tionne.
I don't think I have even seen them get airtime on this show.
Not much for soul/r&b. I'm more into those crazy Portland alternative bands or retro San Fran rockers. If I was in a secret CIA prison in Turkey being interrogated, they'd probably break me with Brian McKnight. That or NKOTB. Back to the topic, I am enjoying this season - but it is a season devoid of any real star power. A Deal or No Deal Model? A poker player? A playmate from way back when? Some crazy dude who had a tv show on MTV in the late 90's? These are not even D-Listers like Kathy Griffin.
I don't think I have even seen them get airtime on this show.
I didn't even know Tionne was a cast member until they did a quick cut to her in Sunday's episode, lol.
I didn't even know Tionne was a cast member until they did a quick cut to her in Sunday's episode, lol.
Dude. T-BOZ! TIONNE WATKINS! There was this liiittle itty bitty song called "Waterfalls" in 1996...maybe you heard it? =) TLC was the highest selling girl group for awhile! They broke records! dont go chasin' waterfalls please stick to the rivers and the lakes that you're used to I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all but i think you're movin' too fast! And here is Brian's "Back At One"...it was also pretty huge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Im5XeLbHy8

Lol RSV. Don't forget TLC "What About Your Friiiiiieeeends"!!
TLC was the highest selling girl group for awhile! They broke records!
Now that you point it out, I have indeed heard of that song. It was probably one of the primary reasons I stopped going to MTV for music as it became the waterfall channel with that video cycling 24/7 for about 2 years... I knew she was familiar, but I couldn't place her.
it became the waterfall channel with that video cycling 24/7
So true- As a result, that little shoulder dance they do in the video is with me forever. (*does a little shoulder dance behind his computer*) Not that I mind though. I love that "Red Light Special" song. TLC is the JAM
Hahaha...they really should just call her T-Boz. These women are cleaning up shop! I would love to see Jesse as project manager in the next episode... Anyway, it's ABOUT TIME. I like Dennis Rodman, but he's ridiculous. He should have been fired a few weeks ago and was obviously being kept around as a publicity stunt. Did they ever mention why Khloe was missing from the first half? Donald made it sound as though she "had a rough week"...was this during her major breakup with that *********? Looks like they're switching up the teams next week...
