Probably because Puppies of Westport carries the USDA seal of approval (permit) and is not a puppy mill. I think Devyn was very wise to get her puppy from here, puppy mills should not be supported. Good for her! :)

I never owned a dog or cat, so I don't know much about it...but it's good to know! In case I ever do, Westport is only a 30ish minute drive =)
I totally want this puggle! ****it, Devyn! Ya had to link to the puppy site! haha =)
I kind of live near Westport. You hauled it far to get a puppy!
Ya I drove there a few times to get his shots and everything... took about an hour and 15 min to get there but man driving back was always an adventure with traffic! They have some amazing dogs though... and when you go there they have a place where you can let them out and play with them... as soon as I saw baby Brooklyn I knew he was the one!!! I love it there... I'm planning on going back there to help out from time to time...

Actually a friend that I work with .. her sister Lauren owns the shop... and they definitely DON'T support puppy mills... they take really great care of their pups! Scott ended up getting a dog from there too after production ended.
The clip they showed of Scott being pissed that Kate didn't go to his birthday party was funny. I think the only reason he went to her website launch was so he could throw that in her face later!! He just stood there the whole time looking like he was in math class and couldn't wait to get out!
I wouldn't say stuff like that, man... For all we know, Scott's birthday party could've taken place before the website launch. The way editing works, stuff that happens in episode 8 could've actually taken place before stuff they show in episode 5.

Traffic on I-95 in Fairfield County is the WORSTTTTTT. I used to commute to Stamford from where I live (exits 27 down to 8!) and it was an utter nightmare! You are a brave, brave soul haha

Good 'ol I-95. I used to have a 30 minute commute on 95 back in South Florida. At certain points in the day it was clear, but come 5 o'clock I wanted to mount a .50 to the roof of my car and start taking people out.
Unfortunately [root@k-box~]# mount /dev/50cal /mnt/chevy returned:
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on car:/dev/50cal,
missing codepage or other error.
I 95 is the worst, I used to commute out of DC in the summer and I swear when 5 pm came you might as well tailgate cause nothing will move. And dont get me started if there is no AC in the car.....

Ahh, I've run into that error in past, but it is easy to fix. You just need to add /dev/50cal /mnt/chevy tripod defaults 0 0 to your /etc/fstab, lol.

Now, should I mount it as read-only or would that cause conflicts trying to reload the ammo belt?

Just my opinion, I didn't say you had to agree with it.
Just my opinion, I didn't say you had to agree with it.
That following is not an opinion; it is commentary...
"Just my opinion," is it a right, an entitlement or a simply a crutch? Perhaps it depends upon one's perspective. The author may be speaking blindly to the universe, with no particular intent to influence. Perhaps the opinion is simply a release of emotion with no intended audience, or an utterance with little more import than a sneeze.
A blindly stated opinion often ignores its encompassing reality -- at least in the opinion of some who appear to favor the potential of relevant facts. When one makes a statement such as the comment regarding Scott's birthday party, absent rational evidence, it opens one to inevitable criticism.
Given that the forum membership includes the very people relevant to the opinion expressed, one might ask if Scott or Katelynn were consulted, since both have a record of commenting about episode editing. Perhaps facts don't matter, after all, it is simply entertainment TV. It's not like being wrong about AIG's debt load ratio and another multi-billion dollar bailout.
The Internet is a dichotomy. It is egalitarian and yet sinister in that its presumptive equality and anonymity coexist along side the stratification of content and the perceived value over time of those with whom we interact.
I'd bore all of you more with this discourse that is fundamentally about Maslow, Hertzberg and Kant, but I'm at the divergence of two roads in a yellow wood. One leads onward toward more thoughts on the wonderful simplicity of unsupported opinion, while the other leads to a bottle of 50 yr old single malt scotch. The path ahead is clear...
It's ok to have an unsupported opinion. An opinion is an opinion, and until the truth is revealed, I will stick to it. Facts do matter.
You have to love an opinion supported by an opinion.
LOL what is with ohio?
...must you ask?

I don't get the Chet hate. That's all.
I've been reading these boards for about a year or so. This board as a whole tends to embrace certain cast members and hate on others. When Hollywood was airing, He who shall not be named was public enemy number one on Vevmo, now it seems like JD is getting most of the hate. Personally, I enjoyed He who shall not be named and I enjoy JD. They both seem like they have negative aspects to their personalities but then again, so does just about everyone. Plus, I find them to both be entertaining.
My feelings towards Chet flip flop constantly. Sometimes I find him annoying, other times he seems like a cool, nice person.

Welcome from lurker status, Jayden. There is no similarity between the two people you identify. You are very welcome to support JD here. Others do; many don't. The other person you mention simply can't be discussed here. Period.
I get that you find JD entertaining (although he barely appears in Ep 9 which is what THIS thread is about). Does it disturb you at all that the entertainment value you find in him may be derived by him at the expense of others in the cast? Do you see a difference between JD's on-camera exploits and Chet's? Personally, I had high hopes for both in early January.

Personally I find it interesting that people feel the need to generalize about a whole random group of anonymous internet people and their so called hate for one person or another. The implication of that generalization being that if there is a general agreement about one character, than obviously all those in agreement are mindless sheep or engaging in a mob mentality. We all watch this show seperately and I assume we all have the brain power to formulate our own opinions, sometimes they overlap, sometimes they don't. Often times the fact that certain cast members take it upon themselves to come on here and provide more context does help to shape opinions or endear certain cast members above others. But if you like a person than by all means, express that and dare to be okay with the fact that there may be a few or many people who disagree with you.
This whole "I have to root for this person because they're an underdog no matter how *********** they may act" to me is just a lame argument and I have no problem calling it out as such. It's almost as weak as the whole gladiator mentality of liking someone who purposefully starts trouble simply because they entertain you on an animalistic level- no matter how offensive, spiteful, sexist, racist and ignorant they may show themselves to be in the process. But that is just my humble opinion- some of us just want to be entertained, some of us don't strive to be entertained at all costs and the rainbow of opinions are a reflection of that. If you like JD, then by all means, like JD. Own that and stand on it as opposed to clothing it under the guise of "defending" him as though he's some illiterate child who needs protecting or victim of "hating". If you get called out about it, than you should have the mind to defend your postion and not care whether the whole world or not a single soul agrees with you.
Just to make this relevant to the episode 9 discussion, the highlight of the episode was gettting to the end and realizing that JD was barely in it.:dance4:
