I'm wondering something...Baya turned down the Dance Academy...which I can understand why the vibe they were rocking may not have been her thing. But I wonder if MTV might have told her not to take it? It looked like it would have entailed pretty intense hours, and someone said that cast members were not allowed to take full time jobs. I wonder if the powers that be "encouraged" her to turn down the opportunty?
JD reminds me of myself since we act the same. It's just so much fun to see JD **** people off and create negativity. I would definitely hang out with this guy.
Your life must be pretty miserable if making others feel bad makes you feel good. Shaking my head.
Tonight's episode was such a change from last week. It was great seeing Baya again (the dance clothes you wear are so cute!).
Sure, Sarah got paid $600, but if she really didn't want to do the modeling why didn't she just say "no"? I hope she learns how to assert herself more. (Regardless, she looked great.)
Devyn is interested in opening a dessert shop...mmm, yum. What kind of desserts I wonder?
JD. He's a dolphin trainer, he modeled (albeit he's on the short side), he's also a photographer---what else does he do? (sarcasm)
Wow.... I leave these boards for 1 hour... I come back and theres millions of posts to read .... oh well I gues ill catch up now hehe ;)
Yeah, I've learned that the hard way as well :) I'd rather just read them before the episode actually airs (only for episodes like RW, not ones that have an elimination at the end).
Sarcasm?
Btw kate, do you know what episode Devyn brings Baby Brooklyn into the house?
Episode 12.
Speaking of Episode 12, I am FUMING mad about this episode and, surprise, surprise, it's because of JD. He is a lying sack of shit and flat out lies to one of the roommates claiming something that is wholly, completely, and emphatically untrue. Though I shouldn't be surprised, considering the source. It's about a thirty minutes in, when he's talking to Scott.
Don't worry, I'll talk about it in a few weeks when the show airs.
*rage*
Chet, how dare you mess with a woman's feminine products...no matter what they are. *tsk*
It is kind of sick and deluded, isn't it? To think, there could be other products that would gross the guys out SO much more...
Oh V, you know she's only trying to get you riled up!
I'm getting too much enjoyment from being JD-free to have that problem. Anyway, 90 % of my "anger" is theater. Whoever he/she is has far more to worry about elsewhere. It's not in this thread. Personally, I'm having a blast.
Ryan and Scott can turn in their tool belts. They are redeemed -- temporarily. I'll leave to Katelynn any decision about Chet. While his behavior was insensitive, at least we didn't see his actions go too far in the episode. What actually happened I don't know.
Bottom line... I liked tonight's seven house guest format.

JD's up to his old tricks again, dag.
You take tae kwon do, right? I do too, and love it. Until this episode airs, I suggest to get that energy out on a punching bag, until you can really let loose how you feel. We'll be waiting with baited breath for your views on that episode. (I'm sure if I had to live with JD I'd be hitting a punching bag, too.)
ETA: Did any of you RWers consider getting on Twitter? I'm just asking because I've just gotten into it and it's easy to keep up with people in real time.

Baya's decision was in no way influenced by production. Quite the opposite is true. Production will oftentimes use unique... tactics (some which I question if they uphold the Geneva Convention) to get you off of your laurels. One such tactic was drilling Baya and asking her if she wanted to be sent home.
Our house "job" is in our contracts. This season we were all supposed to go out and find our own "job". If you don't do your "job" you get sent home (a'la he who shall not be mentioned in Hollywood). Production would come to us and ask what our aspirations were and would pre-clear certain organizations for us to work with. We weren't forced or coerced into making any decision one way or another, however it was strongly suggested that we find something to occupy our time with.

You think that you're annoyed with that? JD knows everyone in existence, and has for like... five or six years. He's done everything you have done, oh and he's TOTALLY done it better than you. When the girls and I got that period photography done in Gettysburg, JD came up to us and said "oh I've done something like that before". It's his way of exuding dominance over someone else, much like his damn dirty bald-faced lies in episode 12.
I recant anything nice I have ever said about him.
Venomous snake.

I can't wait to see this episode. JD is full of it, i can't believe he claims to be a christian. He gives ALL christians a bad name. IMO, his road is paved to you know where. Out of the whole cast, the only person I dislike is JD.

Take JD out of the equation however, there is substance and a nice calm episode that is actually REAL. I figure JD is so bored of doing nothing out there that the least he can do is start drama...

Yeah, but how do you REALLY feel? :)
Ugh JD should have been the "background" roommate, not Baya. >:/
He surely was tonight, if only for this episode. Let's cherish the moment...

I totally agree with you, OPD. But sadly it seems you get more screen time if you act outrageous :(
I'm sure he'd gotten less screen time if he hadn't acted like a total jerk...and a higher likeability rating.
