Please help me to understand that even though everyone on this site knows that the show is edited how you are able to make such strong opinions.
You are seeing the "climax" of what happened... I was super nice and polite about asking people to clean up for the first 2.5 months, as were other roommates, and then when I finally did something about it, I am the jerk. Why, because I didn't want to just keep quite and clean up everything myself?
My favorite comment is, "Scott is 24, he should be more mature"... welll guess what.. we are all in our twenties, we are all adults,.. we can ALL clean up after ourselves without being asked.
PS: I apologized to Sarah.. I didn't know she had the class.. however they don't show that, probably to help viewers form an opinion maybe?
Ugh, I'm too old for this, and by too old I mean too mature because most of this cast is older than me.
I need this cast to act like they are adults. Katelynn and Devyn should learn to clean up their shit, Scott should stop trying to teach childish lessons, Sarah and Chet should stop being condescending, Ryan and JD should stop being immature, and Baya....well, Baya's aight :)
Or maybe I need to act like I am in medical school and stop wasting my time watching this show. But I can't. let. go.
that was hilarious. thanks

Scott, it's Kate D. Don't bother defending yourself on all these sites. There are always going to be people who criticize and judge and you will just drive yourself crazy reading all of it hun. :) Don't worry. You're a nice guy and it will show it altogether. Everyone has their own times of disagreement and yours is obviously public for everyone to see..but to **** with anyone who can judge based on a statement or two in one given episode. :)
I think Ryan and Chet needs to stop - it has been clear for weeks that they don't care much for Sarah, so why does she need to make an effort to like them?
Scott - the viewers do know the show is edited, but it is often hard for some of us to tell just to what extent a situation has been edited. I've been watching RW for years and I still can't tell just how edited a situation is. Editing can hide some things and mostly expose others. There is a lot we don't see. Most of the time we make comments based on what we see because that's the main thing we as an audience have to base our comments on. When the cast members talk to us and tell us about what happened, it helps us to judge episodes based on other information. I do believe this cleaning up thing has been building up for a while and that you were finally deciding to take action. I could tell that from watching the dailies.
Scott the thing with you, is that I see you as a fake person. For example, one minute you are BFF's with Devyn, and the next your talking about her behind her back. No matter how stressful the situation may be, you shouldn't act like a child, and hide the keys. That's my issue with you.

You are right. When we did the same to Devyn we were quick to be corrected by V1man about the dangers of jumping to conclusions when it comes to editing and we unfortunately did not give you the same respect and were unfair to you.
Wow! I understand JD wanting to have a group meeting. I actually agree that the cast needs to talk some things out, but for them to be having an issue with Sarah and talking to her, and for JD to drag Devyn into it and yank the phone from hands - just crazy. I would have been on the phone with a producer telling them I didn't feel safe after that. It's scary. I do think JD was trying to solve things and he let anger build up in him and that's why he broke a table and yanked the phone from Devyn. But it was inappropriate to let go in that way.

LOL I'd love to see YOU on a national TV show. How many times in EVERY day life do you meet someone who you think you may really click with and uhh let's see..live with them EVERY single day only then to naturally get annoyed with them? This is all common behaviour and natural for anybody on this show to do. I'm not sure if its about fakeness as it is about natural progression from nice to uhh.. REAL. I'd say he's pretty up front with people now more than ever in the series as people show their real colors.
I have another friend filming a reality show and I hear what goes on w/that too... it happens to just about EVERYONE on these shows. The pressure just builds and like natural human beings - we react.

Yea its all about the edit. So far JD has a horrible edit that makes it seems like he's such a bad guy, but I've taken notice to look past that, and not judge them by the edit. Maybe they should show a good side of him, everyone has one.
Okay what? You came all the way to the forums where its known people discuss things whether you like it (or our opnions wanted) or not to tell us the obvious? Wow.
[... ] I just told SCOTT (who is my friend) to disregard what it said about HIM. I wasn't telling you guys not to give your opinions..do what you want. But i think anyone who is on television should disregard what is said about them as it will eat them alive.

Scott, when you feel the edit is unfair or incomplete, you have to do exactly what you have done. I'm glad you apologized to Sarah, because what BMP showed us of you tonight is not consistent with how a few of your cast mates have spoken of you privately. In the end, I can't agree with the guys' approach, however. It appears to me that JD was the puppet master and you all were falling in line with his script. Katelynn is simply the wrong person to approach in the presence of cameras with the objective of criticizing her behavior in any context.
Maybe because there was a reason why we are not BFFs anymore and maybe that BFFs only last a couple weeks and maybe.... it is an edited show.
thanks to those of you who don't jump to conclusions. It would seem that to explain anything about this episode I would have to bring up past events that the roommates and I have gotten over. I'm not going to sit here and badmouth my friends to justify my own actions.
Goodnight vevmo.
soo what's worse? Party non stop or argue nonstop?
If you mean by seasons I take arguing non stop over partying seasons anyday.
If you mean by seasons I take arguing non stop over partying seasons anyday.
lol true. Just wish we would've gotten more episodes than 13, that way we'd get more out of what happened.

:rolleyes: Please. Man up and simply accept responsibility for your own actions. Yeah, it's an edited show, but that doesn't change the fact the you bad mouthed your friend. A true friend WOULD NEVER talk badly about their friend. There's only so much that editing can do. You said what you said and that's that.

Well to be technical for a minute 13 one-hour episodes of TRW equals to 26 half-hour ones.

Producer... You need to exercise care in your choice of words. If you called me fake I'd be insulted. You know that insulting other members is a vevmo rules violation. I'm going to read your comment as meaning that you don't think Scott was always portraying how he actually felt which may or may be a fair comment but it's not insulting.
Because the thread continued with responses to you, I've elected not no give you a formal warning because then your comment and the responses would all disappear.
Let's all think about our words before we press the enter key.
Well to be technical for a minute 13 one-hour episodes of TRW equals to 26 half-hour ones.
ahhh. anyway, back onto topic.
So I hope this episode was the last with the constant arguing.
I wish the girls would have talked about their issues with the guys in that "meeting." I do think both sides have valid points, but the guys are always talking about how the girls think they are so right about everything - well, I think some of the guys (Chet and Ryan specifically) are the same way.
Also, I can understand JD being hurt by Sarah not caring much for him, but if Sarah doesn't want to discuss any possible issues she may have towards him, it's up to her to decide whether or not to discuss her issues with him. She did say that JD could talk to her if she had any problems with her, and that is what is most important for him, I'd think - that he be heard.
It's cool that Ryan is taking a film class. Really neat to get to see a RWer taking a class. It is also cool to see Sarah teaching an art therapy class. I'd like to see a season in which the cast mates get to continue college or a job/career during the show. Like maybe for the city they choose, they could cast people who want to transfer to a college in that area or a job in that area (or those who are willing to do so). And they can film during the semester.
Now Scott, I agree with V1. JD has the guys, eating from his hands. It's kind of funny. Edit or not Devyn was/is your friend, and the fact that in your audition tape, you said you're a type of guy, that will tell someone off real quickly, and instead you did the opposite with Devyn.
I agree. JD is pulling all of the strings in that house. It's sad that the guys can't think for themselves and see through his ****.

JD just needs to grow up and realize that he is not entitled to anything. If Sarah doesn't want to associate herself with him, then that's her decision. JD should respect it and move on [...].

My caution at that time was based on information regarding what actually happened. Unfortunately, I had no such timely intelligence before this episode. Not everyone lets me know in advance what happens and this was an episode I had not seen on DVD. Scott's back story info is a useful and important context and filter through which to watch and evaluate what BMP gives us.
I agree. JD is pulling all of the strings in that house. It's sad that the guys can't think for themselves and see through his *********]
I disagree with your reasoning. While I see JD pulling strings, for me it's not a matter of the guys not being able to think for themselves. They have no group or individual context that we know of to suspect the purity of his motivation. He is not simply passing on information; e.g., discussing the supposedly private confessionals of others, but the guys in the house don't know that. Only we as viewers do.
