Disagree. Not only is it a conflict of interests like Stacee said, but the girl HAD HER CHANCE. SEVERAL of them: Broadway, record deal, records....but didn't make it! She was the lowest selling album ever for that company at that time. It just screams favoritism that she could even make it this far. That said, I don't think Idol is for second and third chance failures.
And I'm having a bad day at work so that's all I have to say right now. :girl_mad:

Since when was this world about only offering a finite amount of chances? If she is a better singer than the rest, let the audience decide. Don't send her packing on some inane technicality after you let her through. This just goes to prove the Idol producers are without backbone and fold at the first hint of adversity.
The fact remains that with her gone, a weak field got weaker.

I'd hardly say that. The show and the contestants are no strangers to controversy. This was just over the top IMO. Oh well, agree to disagree, not the first time eh? ;)

I think she was the worst singer I have ever heard this far along in the competition. Normally they weed out tone death people in the early going, lol.
