Katherine Heigl and TR Knight quit Grey's Anatomy!

Ok. That's it. OPD is p*ssed. And sad. I could care less about George but I LOVE KH. Seriously, I'm with ya Stacee I'm so over this show. I've been sticking it out long enough ****it through ridiculous storylines and come and go characters, but this is the last straw Shonda Rhimes!!
I'm sure this is what KH wants and for that I am happy, it's just sad that I lost my last reason for sticking with this show....:rip:

I love Major Bad *** as well...I don't think he is ugly at all...he is just nor your typical "hunk" like McSteamy is.

As for two major stars quitting a dying show, that pretty much puts the nail in the coffin. It will now become ER post George Clooney...(which means bad.)
The show peaked in season 2 and has been quickly falling off a cliff. Heigl has a big future in front of her in movies, so I think it was a good decision on her part. Get out while the getting is good.
The only reason I am even watching now is because of Izzy.
No...they will keep her alive so she can do a guest appearance in season 15, which of course by then will be filled with a cast of actors that aren't even on the show right now.
Don't worry, you'll be able to jump right in and watch as they will be using the same storylines then as they are now. :D
I can't wait to see what KH does next...I have loved her in every movie I have seen her in, so I am okay with her decision to leave. BUT *** does TR Knight think he will get that is better?? He is a medicore actor at best imo.

TR is not a very good actor at all. Grey's will always be known as the peak and fall of his career.
I wanted to add that, George has offered many laughs over the years and TR was perfect for that part - I just don't see him making it big in movies. Maybe he will get another TV gig and if not Katherine can put him up in a guest house with her movie millions.

I wouldn't hold my breath -- it seems like Shonda is just doing damage control right now. I don't really care if T.R. Knight leaves, since George hasn't had many scenes this season. I don't particularly like (or dislike) Katherine Heigl as an actress, but her character is the only one that isn't completely depressing to watch, so she will be missed. With all the extra time she will have to devote to her film career, hopefully she wil do something other than romantic comedies!

ITA. George? Eh...no biggie. Katherine Heigl? Will make or break the show for me. But if it is true I wish her MUCH success in movies. She's very funny. But yes I'd like to see her in something serious too.

Amen. She brings life to the series while the rest of the cadre wallow in self pity (i.e. Mer, Cristina.) Her leaving would be a deal breaker for me.
