Here is info that was given during the TV Guide special, hosted by Sugar, that aired tonight and will have a few subsequent re-airings: -The person "voted out" of each tribe in the first 15 minutes will arrive at camp 4 hours in advance and can either start building shelter to make an impression, or they can look for the immunity idol -Each week the reward challenge winners choose 1 person from the losing tribe to go to Exile Island. That person chooses 1 challenge winner to come with them. Then, when their time at Exile is done, they decide whether they would like to switch tribes or not (I feel like this would have worked better in combination with China's kidnapping twist so they could know/evaluate what they are getting themselves into, but nonetheless, a very cool idea)
Those are some great ideas. The Exile Island idea this time is cool. I can't wait for this season to start!
I can't waitttttt!

The time has finally come....again. Can't wait!
The time has finally come....again. Can't wait!
I am more excited than I thought I'd be. This is one show that of late has consistently produced great television. My only hope is that there is more of a survival need this season so that the floaters can be weeded out early before the end game strategy sets in. I always ****h about tribes kicking off "competition" early because they can do so without consequence.

Reality Blurred has an insightful interview series with the cast and it seems that Ben wants to form a solid alliance of the strongest and much of the cast seemed to reveal in their interviews that they were going in with a good first impression of him. I don't really know if I'll like Ben yet but I like the idea of getting rid of the types of people who all too frequently in the past have latched on and rode to the endgame.
I'm still wondering who the cast member is with Rupert likability. I would guess Ben, but Jeff did say he's ridiculously arrogant, which Rupert definitely wasn't. Maybe it'll be a woman...who knows! I CAN'T WAIT!!
Jeff Probst Preview: Week 1 Only 2 hours! I can't wait!!!!
Grr...damn you EST/CST people! I still have 4 1/2 hours :( Well...4 hours and 28 minutes :) But who's counting?

"TOLD you it'd be a good season!" haha Ah Jeff. Anyway that definitely has me hyped up for the next episode....that twist definitely seems interesting about Exile. Thanks for posting Phoenix!
1. Taj is ***ked. She should deny, deny, deny! 2. Probst keeps repeating how much of a "blindside" the last vote was. It was only a "blindside" because they edited it to be one! It was haaaardly a blindside. Please!
When I saw the preview on TV they edited out the husband's name and I thought she was saying she was married to another castaway! I thought they were incorporating a little bit of Big Brother lol and started thinking who else could be related. HA. I agree, RSV, she should have kept her mouth shut.
It's not like she would have lasted that long anyway! Sorry, I really just do not like her. Well, not her, her husband. Well, not her husband, just the school he went to.
I haven't seen this season yet. Will watch tonight. Is it good so far?
Tonight's only episode 2, so you haven't missed much, but I thought episode 1 was pretty good.

Hmm, if Coach is supposed to be the one everyone will love as much as Rupert, I am not seeing it. Seems too bossy for me. We haven't really seen that much of him, but it looks like we will tonight, so I will wait until then to really get a feel for him.

Coach probably is the originally spoiled "Rupert" but I think that's probably mostly in Probst's/production's heads. Jeff always has a love affair with the alpha-male and is borderline-sexist.

So far Coach looks to be all talk and no game. Let's see if he actually shows up in this challenge!
I. Hate. Being. On. Pacific. Time.
Me too! I have to avoid Vevmo when new episodes are on so I don't get spoiled, but it is so tempting to read peoples reactions. It is especially tough since I grew up on the east coast, so I know all my friends and family are watching it 3 hours before me :(

I'm surprised no one has posted on it yet this evening...

Just a heads up, we might have to wait 3 weeks between episodes 5 and 6 due to March Madness. Typically it would only be a 2 week wait with one week not having an episode and the next week having it on a Wednesday, but the Survivor finale is going to be a week later than normal this year because Amazing Race's finale will be taking over the traditional Mother's Day finale. I really hope they stick an episode on Wednesday March 18 or 25 though, season 12 had a 3 week break also and I really felt like that killed its momentum
Yikes, that is a serious break for a reality series.

Or will March Madness take over CBS's entire programming schedule for those weeks?
Don't certain affiliates get to choose what to show and what not to show? I am not sure about the affiliates, they might get the option but they definitely wouldn't have the option to broadcast a new episode ahead of CBS's schedule. I think if they wanted to show Survivor, their only option would be a rerun which would get lower ratings than basketball.
