Alex Rush (Scott's Model friend)

She seemed nice and she's very pretty. And her presence has given us some great Chet-isms early on: [I]She's a model and I'm Chet[/I] [I]I can tell she's sexually attracted to me. . .it's natural[/I] [I]She's a model and I appreciate that[/I] So for these alone I adore her. Kind of weird she's gotten more camera time than Scott thus far though. . .

Alex is pretty and seems nice - but one thing struck me as sort of off putting (maybe I'm showing my age) But to show up on a first date and on camera no less dropping F bombs left and right seemed sort of trashy. "I got so '****** lost" or whatever she said (she got a few "F" bleeps) This was a first date when she bumped into Chester the Molester on the date. Ok, sorry. I have been reading VEVMO for a long time & just started posting. I was just kidding - Chet is not my favorite but if that sort of thing is frowned upon here I understand. I guess I am used to other boards that are very derogatory - Should we keep our posts more "cast friendly" Thanks for explanation to guidelines. I certainly meant no disrespect to Chet or any implication that he has done anything unseemly - just playing.

Over time, more and more Real World & Challenge cast members began reading, then participating (starting with Parisa.) I became friends with a good majority of these people (as did some of our moderators.) Thus, unlike other forums - Vevmo is a place that cast members can come and share their thoughts without the standard internet hate machine jumping on their every word or edited, truncated, TV action. So yes, I hope this to be a cast friendly place where they can offer discourse and we as an educated group can agree or disagree with a bit of class and a lot of maturity. That doesn't mean we have to like what they do or say. I don't agree with many things I've seen and have had many a rant (I've also crossed the line from time to time, but have gotten better about that and have taken a more even course over the last 3 or 4 months. There is just a small percentage of cast members I don't like and it is hard for me to come around to them...) [B]In summary:[/B] Use phrasing that is [I]appropriate [/I]being we fully understand the people we are referring to are often reading our conversations and they might be hurt with the words being used. Vevmo is a place for "Good People" - right? :D

Understood Bacchus - thanks. One thing - is there a central place where members or mods post appearances? I read about all these appearances people make after the fact. I have often wanted to go see Tonya Cooley screaming in a megaphone to a crowded bar, but I didn't know it was happening (j/k) Seriously though - how will we know where cast members will be? I am in CT and so NY appearances are right next door. Thanks

Some cast members post such information on their myspace pages, particularly in their calendars. Perhaps Bacchus would entertain a thread where cast members from any reality show could post appearance info. Of course, I'd only recommend that if he got something tangible in return. This site doesn't pay for itself. Please try to follow the normal rules of capitalization, even if you are on a Blackberry, otherwise a mod will have to go around cleaning up after you (which kind of puts you on the wrong side of the ledger). FYI -- It's been nearly two years since Tonya did club appearances. I don't expect that we will see her doing anything like that in the future. And, the ever necessary reminder, this is Alex's thread. Perhaps if she does come to post here, we could actually have this thread be about her. :biggrin:
