You know what I just thought could be a good idea....getting as many of the RW mom's/dad'stogether in one place to discuss how they felt about thier kids season's, you know like how they felt about the editing, drama and fights (I think I personally wouldn't bring up hookups because for someparents that could just be too wierd to talk about, LOL).

FYI..When Denver was airing one of the Magazines wrote an article mentioning the parents. I forgot the exact quote but it was something to the effect " The RW parents neighbors love them. They are happy that their daughters only appeared on Girls Gone Wild.

Too funny! I bet it was hard for you being away from Colie when she got sick while she was there and not being able to comfort and baby her. I know when I am sick all I want is to lay in my mom's lap while she plays with my hair, LOL. It is so soothing.

The next Aftershow is taping in LA today. JD, Colie, Isaac, and Paula (ugh, not again) will be there, as will the host, Mark Long. I suspect that at least one more Brooklyn cast member will be there, but I don't know who it would be.

Other MTV faces (in addition to those mentioned above) who were at or near BMP's studio tonight include Devyn, Scott, Chet, Sara, Brianna Taylor, Evelyn and Shauvon. (Not all are on the Aftershows -- at least two full shows were recorded tonight.)
Devon was looking quite hot in red. I understand why Scott or anyone would flirt with her. Contrary to what people have so often written, Shauvon was witty, engaging and quite the opposite -- in a very good way.

Good question.
Keep in mind I did not see the drama play out on TV or I would have been on the first plane to Denver. None the less it was very difficult. Colie had been in New Orleans for college so I was used to being away from her.
As seen on episode 7
" After a call to mom, Colie's friend Lindsy takes her to the emergency room, where she learns she's come down with the kissing disease -- mono. With strict instructions against hookups and sports, the make-out queen makes her way back to the house. And, even though her Mom can't be there for TLC, Alex concocts a 'Sick Couch' made of blankets and a pillow to remind her of home"
I never in a million years imagined she had mono (she had a mild case of it in HS) again. My guess was she had tonsilitis and knew that as soon as she got to a Dr. and had a few doses of antibiotics she would be fine. After speaking to Mitzi (Lindsys mom) we decided to take her to Rose Medical since she knew the Drs there. This was one of the few times Colie and I had cell phone access. With modern day technology I felt like I was with her. I also spoke to the Dr. several times.
I did flip out when I heard the diagnosis. Truthfully, if I had been there I might have questioned what was in that intravenious tube besides saline solution. I never saw a kid go from extremely sick to happy in such a short time.
What scared me more was the thought of her continuing with Outward Bounds physical challanges, and the knowledge of how easily she could suffer internal damage after a bout with Mono. Thankfully that didn't happen.
Lindsy and Mitzi checked on her every day, and brought her chicken soup (Jewish pennicillian). Thank you both.
Alex, it was sweet of you to make the "sick couch".
Colies tonsils were taken out a few months after filming I3. If you want to know what really freaked me out, it was when others in the hospital posted on various sites what we were wearing and doing the day of surgery.
