Oh wow. I just got done watching this daily. Holy **** could Chet be a little more invasive? I mean, obviously JD was a bit uncomfortable, but who talks about condoms/size for that long with someone that clearly wants nothing to do with it? (Gets the feeling that probably happened a lot)

Is it my computer, but the video where Devyn and Chet have a discussion, or how the website put it argument, over chesscake is not working. I try to play it, and what plays is Sarah putting her tounge in her nose (which is hilarious).
Perhaps he spent his teenage years in other pursuits rather than obsessing about all things related to ***. It's not a crime, it's not abnormal, it's not immature, it's just "Oh, my God!" TV. :popcorm2:
I wholeheartdly agree with this.
Hello everyone, This is my very first post and I am reaching out for help. Regarding the Dailies, when I use Aol as my browser it tells me I am "too young to view this video" Which is absolutely ridiculous, since I was old enough back in the 70's. So when I tried to use Mozilla as my browser; it tells me I need to download the plug-in. Which I have tried several times now and still nothing. I have also rebooted my computer and tried several times to refresh the pages and I still cannot see any of the videos. Am I missing something? Like browser setting tools. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Close firefox. Run all four of the installers, one at a time. Start firefox. You should now be able to view the majority of media on the web via your new favorite browser.
There is a daily clip today where they talk about the Internet scoop, and I believe they are referring to Vevmo. RW Dailies

No other site had the information. Also, at this point, I don't believe that Katelynn had come out to all the guys, so this timing also confirms the appropriateness of Bacchus' decisions not to post what he knew of Katelynn at the time. It would not have been good for the show for Ryan to have heard that news from the internet in a phone conversation. My point in referencing this is to remind BMP and MTV that they owe Bacchus for this courtesy on his part. Promises were made.
We'd be more famous if someone said "vevmo" during an episode.
I know!! I swear to you all, if I'm ever in the crowd at Good Morning America or the Today Show, I will have a huge sign that says "VEVMO.COM" and someone else holding one up that says "OBEY BACCHUS". LoL. For reals.
The dailies were funny today. Is Ryan's "dream" to be a songwriter? I don't remember hearing what he wanted to do. If it's songwriting, that's really cool. I also see more of a cuteness to him the more I watch him. He and Chet, though I think they can be immature and over the top sometimes, kind of bring a comedic presence to the show. They look to have one of the better (or more interesting or "clicked") friendships I've seen on the show in a while. I watched some of the others from yesterday as well - the extra/extended scenes of the JD-Chet argument from when JD was on a drunken rant about immigrants. The clips make JD look worse to me because Chet said in his argument that he'd seen how JD treated service workers before, which would indicate he's reacted poorly to them more than once.
Are the dailies down because when I tried to watch, all of the videos gave me an error. It read: Error loading configuration file. Error #2032 Does anyone know what this is?
I don't know what that error is exactly, but there have been some technical difficulties with some clips on the site for at least a couple of days now. Are your plugins and flash player files up to date?

Scott and Devyn are so cute in the dailies from yesterday and today! I really would like to see something happen between them, but I don't know if it does (at least on the show) based on an interview one of the cast members did (not Devyn or Scott). It's so funny how he keeps saying he doesn't know where to put his hands when they are dancing or wrestling!

They are adorable...this is like the first relationship/friendship that I like on the Real world in a long time
I saw those clips. They really were adorable, I agree! I thought it was cute how Devyn made the BFF-o-meter and that Scott was actually into it and bought colored pencils to work on it. I'm glad they will be featured more in the next episode, because I like them both. They've got me going to RW Dailies to watch all their clips. Usually I'll just watch a couple so I won't ruin the actual show airing, then watch other ones of interest later.
Alright, I'm starting to have issues with the dailies site. Not technical issues like some others are experiencing, but issues with the fact that every time there's a daily of me it has to do with ***. Where's me talking about my writing (a big part of what I did in the house)? Where's Sarah, Devyn, and I debating evolution theory with Chet piping in? Where is any legitimate conversation I had in that house? I love how they take what were random conversation about *** spread out amongst four months and condense it into two weeks to make me look like some kind of deviant. Epic fail dailies. Epic, epic fail. :girl_mad:

Now I am personally a History, NatGeo, Discovery Channel kind of guy - so I'd be receptive to depth of field when it comes to the videographical offerings on display at the Dailies. However, I suspect I am not the [strike]prototypical *** crazed teen[/strike] demo that Viacom has charted into its plans for niche market viability (i.e. how to turn a quick buck on the backs of its goldfish.)

Not that I can complain mind you, because if all I saw from someone was constant talk about ***, ***, ***... well, they'd probably be Chet =P I can't deny that aspect of my personality (especially because it's on camera), but that is far from my daily intellectual discourse. Hopefully better dailies are around the corner.
I could see if their normal demographic was responding positively, but all the feedback is so negative and vitriolic.
The truth is no matter what was served for content, negativity would rule the day on that website. Not to mention there has been a dynamic shift across the Internet over the last few years and it can be challenging to find positive comments on any website, especially entertainment type blogs and forums. I'm not saying the Internet has always been a cheery place, but I regularly visit my fair share of web properties across a broad topic range and the unruly mobs these days are always on site before the content ages but a minute.
Hopefully better dailies are around the corner.
Don't hope too much. We are talking about an MTV run web enterprise, the same people who a couple of years back thought an entirely flash based website was a good idea. :wink2: That being said, I hope we get to see a little more out of all the roommates then we have thus far been offered.

I honestly think the demo for that dailies website likes random things , nothing intellectually stimulating I mean look at their comments, there is haters and hating but this it HATE on EPIC LEVELS which pardon my french ****** me off. :bottom: those "fans" need a serious talking to by their parents.
Alright, I'm starting to have issues with the dailies site...
Seriously! I noticed the same thing, and was peeved. After ep. 1 aired, I was hoping to find more of that polytheist/monotheist/egyptology/freedom-of-expression-vs.-prohibitive-***ual-'morality' convo you had w/Sarah (and that Ryan and Chet seemed so befuddled by). No such luck. Okay, so maybe my hopes were a wee bit too high. After ep. 2, I thought, 'Well, maybe the dailies will show some more more of the Kate/Baya post-dance-audition car conversation. That seemed like a pretty deep exchange, and it was a major plot point for the episode, so....' No. Apparently we (the audience) are allowed to know that you guys have brains, probing thoughts, and meaningful life experiences... we just aren't allowed to catch more than a glimpse of such things before the dailies make things right again by tantalizing us with with juicier revelations such as: a) people like ***, and b) people may possibly get crushes on other people. Seems like you really did get the short end of the stick, though, when it comes to depth of character as conveyed by the dailies. Hopefully they'll branch out soon and start showing more of your personality.
Sadly, intelligent conversation would most likely send the core viewing constituency running for their remotes (or touch pads in this case.) Now I am personally a History, NatGeo, Discovery Channel kind of guy...
*sigh* If only nerds like you (and me?) had more programming sway. Really, though... while I concede that the network must feed the demo beast in order to stay in business, I do think that appealing to the lowest common denominator more often than not has the effect of lowering the denominator. And I was so looking forward to a little hoisting of the bar this season. But hey, at least it's not Vegas. And considering the cast that they're working with, I doubt that the powers that be will be able to ensure that the dailies are totally lacking in legitimately interesting human exchange, no matter how hard they try.
I honestly think the demo for that dailies website likes random things , nothing intellectually stimulating I mean look at their comments, there is haters and hating but this it HATE on EPIC LEVELS which pardon my french ****** me off. those "fans" need a serious talking to by their parents.
lol. Welcome to the Internet :(
Sorry about the dailies, Katelynn. But if it makes you feel any better, it looks like almost all of the dailies for this week had something to do with flirting, having a crush, wanting to pursue something with someone, relationships, and ***. Everybody either had something going on with them concerning those topics, or they were involved with conversations on those topics. Hopefully they will show other things later. :)
Though a lot of the dailies overall still have to do with sexual matters/flirting/dating, I saw an intellectual one the other day that I found interesting. It's the one when Kate and Devyn (and Scott and Sarah to a smaller extent) have the discussion about the term/label "African-American." Real World Dailies - Real World Dailies | ContentDetail I could definitely see what Kate was talking about. Anyone who was born and raised in the U.S. is definitely an American. It is a reason that some black U.S. citizens (or perhaps other Americans of minority races, or even people of the majority) do not like the term "African-American." Putting African in front of American in a way makes it seem as though their family is directly from Africa, or that the person immigrated and just gained citizenship. And for many black citizens, their ties to Africa are well over a century down the line. Also, there are some black citizens whose family roots are Caribbean, so it's not really correct to put African before American for them. I can also see that Kate was saying it's a way of dividing people and it's not necessary. I definitely agreed with a lot of what she was saying. I can see what Devyn was saying as well, though. There are some black citizens who don't see the term "African-American" as offensive at all. As Devyn said, she didn't make up the term, but it is used for identification purposes of defining the master status of race. For some black citizens, it's no big deal to use it, since it is a more PC term, especially compared to some other things that black citizens have been called. For some, it is not much different that using the words male and female for the master status of gender, or working/middle/upper class for the master status of economic standing, etc. Some even may take pride in putting the African before American. So basically, I agree with Katelynn that black citizens (or Asian or Hispanic or Indian or any other citizens that were born and live here) are American and should be fully seen as such. However, I can understand why some black citizens do not consider the term "African-American" offensive, and if that's what they like to be called, it's not a bad thing to me. My perspective is perhaps shaped by the fact that I have direct African ancestry. I was born and raised here in the U.S., and my mother was also born and raised here, but my father is African. He was born and raised for a while in Africa. He has direct African relatives. So I don't really mind the term "African-American" used towards me because I have direct ties to Africa through my father. But I feel 100% American for sure. I've never been to Africa, nor did I grow up with a lot of African culture because my parents divorced when I was young. Still, I have no problem acknowledging that I am half African. My maternal grandmother would be a black citizen who feels that the term "African-American" is not quite fair. I remember her talking about it one day and she takes to heart that she is American and she doesn't have close ties to Africa. She would probably feel more comfortable with "Black-American" instead. Some people don't even like the term "black" to be used. So it just varies from person to person. Very interesting sociological conversation.
