:yahoo:Yay, Looks like theres more coming!
I'm happy to hear about this, as a RW fan. I'm also happy for Mark as well. If the RW keeps up the great ratings, I could see MTV renewing the contract for TRW.
My thread about ratings today was the result of an early morning notice from Mark about the ratings, courtesy of a call from MTV. He really appreciates the Vevmo support for the Aftershow and has been reading the threads.
He is aware of the interest in other panelists.
I am glad they gave this the green light. It is a cherry on top of the Real World sundae for us [strike]rabid, stalkeresque[/strike] fans.
Mark is a ratings juggernaut! :D
Hopefully they will do one with the whole cast!
I think I prefer seeing them focus on the primary characters of a specific episode for the aftershow (to help elaborate on the themes presented) and saving the entire cast interacting together for the reunion. With less you get more as there is a limited amount of talk time each week (22 minutes) which doesn't allow for in depth conversation if you end up having to divide it by 8.

You are right. MTV will only bring the cast together for a reunion, although MTV would be smart to look for other opportunities to benefit for using the cast in an ensemble environment.
The only way the would have time to do the entire cast (which I doubt would happen because it makes the reunion show pointless) Is if they change it to an hour per episode.
Yea, actually sounds better like that. Each week or episode they should bring in like 2-3 of the cast members would give more time.
I can just see the MTV internet assigned to read vevmo thinking, "Wow, there is an idea we never thought of."

Agreed! How fun...I hope the cast is soaking it up as well!
I wish they had got Blair to host the aftershows like he used to during Inferno 2/Gauntlet 2/etc.
But Mark is alot better than the hosts they've used for reunions.

I actually prefer Mark to Blair.
So ya, Blair would be better than anyone else of recent - but Mark is a host by trade and has a great rapport with the cast.

Agreed. Blair has a happy home now on G4, and I think Mark was probably the best choice as being well-rounded, well-liked, and easy to talk to and get a crowd going.
I think Mark is a better host than Blair because he's funnier and more people know him.
Also didn't Mark hosted a show called Reality Remix or something?

Mark was a correspondent for Reality Remix, co-host of "Wild On," and he was the co-host of Fox Reality's "Really Awards" event along with Jillian Barberie Reynolds (FOX Sports and "Good Day LA") .
Blair is under contract to Comcast and G4. Almost every entertainment contract contains an exclusivity clause that prevents one from working for another company unless there is a reciprocal talent agreement in place. It was widely speculated within the RW/RR community that Blair's inability to attract an audience was one of the reasons for the demise of the old Aftershow. Saul was far worse, of course.

Thanks V! It's great to know he was the co-host of Wild and Out. I was an avid fan of Wild and Out, but I've never seen him. I haven't seen all the episodes, so I'll have to watch some to see him.
LOL I'm glad he edited it! I was so confused because I know Wild and Out is Nick Cannon's show and I never remember Mark on it.
Wild On has had some interesting hosts over the years including Brooke Burke, the most recent winner of "Dancing With the Stars," Carmen Electra and Tara Reid.
Keep Paula back! I am rooting for Paula! :D: And Mark is a great host, good job buddy. Very professional and great interviewer unlike some people E *cough* CARSON DALY *cough*

Paula? I loved seeing Katelynn roll her eyes in response one Paula comment during the Aftershow. If Paula gets a proper (honest) edit on her next TV appearance, everyone else will become as sick of her as I and a bunch of RW/RR cast members are.
I really dislike Paula, i liked her on The Real World Key West but she has changed alot since then, shes always trying to go with the group, like those wanna be popular girls.

Wait you mean she is even more annoying then shown on the shows already?
