Everyone update your flash player for firefox! http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
I have my new favorite wallpaper. :D
If you were considering switching, today is the day. Most major security firms are telling their corporate clients to stop using IE 5, 6, 7 and 8 IMMEDIATELY - until further notice. If you do any online banking, shopping etc you might as well kiss your credit card info goodbye if you stumble upon an afflicted site with internet Exploder.
Unlike other computer exploits, this one does not require users to click on fishy links or download mysterious software: it plagues computers that simply open an infected Web page. What are the "afflicted sites"?
What are the "afflicted sites"?
Basically, sites that have the virus. They are saying right now it is generally Chinese sites, but moving fast across the globe. In the end, it could be any site - so don't be surprised if you are attacked if you choose not to head the warnings of top computer security experts. Baidu (dot) com is the 11th most popular site in the world and it is infected - so that is a good base to continue the infection.

As you know I can't control my ISP at work, but I have definately made the switch at home. And I really do appreciate the warning as I pay bills online here at work sometimes! :cryss: Now I'll stay away from all that stuff here.
Thanks, Bacchus. As you know I can't control my ISP at work
You mean browser. Your internet service provider is the company that provides your actual connection, i.e. Comcast, Timewarner, SBC, Verizon, AOL, etc. ;)

I do a lot of bill pay from work too B, is there something I should do to delete the history or something?
I do a lot of bill pay from work too B, is there something I should do to delete the history or something?
I'd probably go ahead and clear out your temporary internet files, cookies, etc and stop using IE for sensitive operations.
Do I check the box that says delete all offline content?

I already did it...B can you still see my info?? I know you are the one making these viruses so just tell me now ;) :D
Erasing your info is not going to do much (just so you know.) This vulnerability allows the hacker to execute remote code so they can do anything you can do sitting at your PC and most users have personal data scattered throughout (i.e. emails, word docs, etc.) I heard there is already one Fortune 500 company whose entire executive staff now has laptops that won't boot (the hackers deleted core components of the operating systems. It is unknown what data was taken at this time.) Hopefully it wasn't GM. They have enough issues as it is... The only fix for this issue (without getting insanely technical) is to use another browser. They are free. There are many of them. If you live in a bad neighborhood and decide it is a good idea to continue to use your garage as a storage place even though it doesn't have a front door - don't be surprised if stuff goes missing. That is all I am saying. p.s. If you have no choice and are stuck with a deficient IT staff, sucks to be you! :D
REPENT! REPENT!
Okay look buddy...I have firefox at home thanks to you suggesting it months ago. I can't control what my corporate office chooses...If I could live with it, I wouldn't get on the internet at work at all, but then I wouldn't get to check up on my vevmo very often and that would make me very unhappy. :D

Don't think I don't know! ;)
Hehehe, Yeah I have to admit I did, from my husbands laptop...I made him update to Firefox very recently when he had to completely reboot it from the startup disk for like the 5th time. He is banned from IE now (at least I hope he listened to me). :D
He is banned from IE now (at least I hope he listened to me).
In other words, he is probably cruising infected Chinese **** sites in IE as we speak! :wink2:
In other words, he is probably cruising infected Chinese **** sites in IE as we speak! :wink2:
Yeah right...him be awake at this time of morning....hahahahahahahahahahaha! Sorry that was just soooo funny...he doesn't wake up til the sun goes down...my friends think he is a vampire, actually this one friends kids whom I babysit sometimes always ask if they can see where he hangs upside down to sleep because their mom has them convinced that he really is a vampire, it is funny. But on another note he does spend most of his time on Japanese sites...well watching foreign movies and animes from places like Veoh. I could care less what he watches as long as he does it through Firefox from now on, LOL. I actually think I deleted his IE from existance.
Is that why you like Twilight so much?
Nope I like Twilight so much because I love Edward...My husband is very aware that Edward is the other man in my life and he has no choice but to live with it :D
