I agree with everyone that Evelyn is extremely physically strong and could potentially be the strongest female in the history of the challenges, however mentally I disagree completely. Ev is not mentally strong enough to beat a good majority of the other players and even in very physical competitions, brains matter. Evelyn can easily be broken down and in a physical face off, I think many people could mentally break her down in order for them to win.
What....WHAT?!
Wow I'm sorry I beg to differ. I think Ev is not only one of the strongest mentally, but also one of the smartest players. I think if Ev was easily "broken down" she wouldn't have lasted in as many challenges as she had, including winning the Island when most of the people there were against her. Sorry, I'm just shaking my head at this theory right now....
Well everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I just dont feel that Evelyn is mentally strong. She often times goes along with what the majority of the people in the challenges do or what the "In crowd" wants to do. She openly admits that on the Gauntlet 3, she went along with all the male vets in voting Katie into the gauntlet and she did nothing to stop it. We also clearly saw on the Island how fast Evelyn was willing to work with Johnny, Kenny and Derrick despite how rude and disgusting they were to her. She has a hard time standing up for herself with the exception of her taking Johnny's key and she completely reversed this strength when she alligned with them at the end.
Ev proved herself to be mentally strong. As she has said johny broke her down every day on the island. She said that we didn't even see the half of what she went through and she was still able to pull off a win in the finals and in 2 face offs. Also if you remember in G3 in the final mission she did instruct her team on how to complete the sliders puzzle. She is the best female player ever hands down.
Katie help her team solve the puzzle in inferno 2, Sarah went into the gauntlet 5 times against men and women, and her WHOLE team wanted her gone and she still WON, doesn't that make them the best competitors. Ev in her first face off just got lucky, in her second face off she had to go against weak players. By the way in gauntlet 3 paula (who is an average player) actually perform better than Ev in the majority of the missions ( I actually have the season from iTunes, and watch it a lot). Ev is a strong competitor, the best in challenge history I doubt, and it's not fair to say until she does a challenge with both Hollys, rachel (not some BS like the island), ruthie, mallory, kina, jodi, and christena RR inferno 1, just to name a few. By the way veronica won 3 challenges the most from any female, and second person with most wins (behind darrell with 4), that should make her the best girl in challenge history (and it doesn't).

I'd disagree. Ev's proven to be a mental brick wall on these things. And I hardly think she goes with the crowd at all. That G3 edit was rubbish. Her friends knew she was strong, they had no intention of getting rid of her, just the weak girls. As for the Island, as much as I want Johnny to drink a bottle of cyanide, I think Ev's decision was very mature. Screwing Johnny over in the last face-off would have automatically landed her in that oh so amazing Robin boat. She made a smart choice, and it was the winning choice.
Well I actually remember EV even saying it on her blog, that she was coming in second place to paula in some of the challenges, can someone check her myspace again.
i think all challenge players have their ups and downs in the competition. If you remember in Inferno2 Rachel was not the best. There were challenges that Tonya did a lot better than rachel. Everyone messes up. And no one is unbeatable, IMO anyway
I agree with the cases made for Aneesa. She has the mentality to play these games so well. She doesn't care about going in, she doesn't care who she faces, she deosn't trust anyone, and it helps. I think she will go far in the game once again.
I also have to agree that Beth is an excellent Challenge players and constantly shakes peoples game plans.
Ev is also a far superior athlete and could possibly be the best ever, but she does have some poor decision making skills at times which hurts her in the end.
I still think either Hollys and Rachel would have beaten Ev,
You're not alone in thinking that. Both Hollys were amazing competitors. I put them above her in impressive challenge feats (just going by missions and their track records with them, not going by a person's physical strength). I'd also throw in Emily. Lots of good RR girl competitors (puts majority of the RW girls to shame, almost). I think it's possible RR Rachel could have beaten Ev in something as well. I think Ev is quite a competent challenge competitor (in missions, physically and mentally), but I personally would not consider her the best ever, unbeatable, or infalliable. I think she's very, very, hyper intense compared to most of the girls and guys on these shows, and I think she is physically strong, and I think those things (especially the intensity) intimidates some people. She had some stand out missions in I3, and she did well on G3, but I don't think she was so far ahead of some of the competitors.
However, as I mentioned before, I think the missions have suffered in these later challenges (which obviously is not the competitors' fault). There are too many missions in which the whole team or a team of people have to work together as well. Sure, the earlier challenges had some simple missions, but some of them were a lot more daring and tested different areas of strength. So I guess I can kind of see how the eliminations can be seen as, in some instances, more indicative of being a good competitor than the actual missions, because the missions haven't always been as strong. And in one on one physical eliminations, Ev brings that huge intensity and brings strength.
I do agree many of the challengers have been up and down in competitions. It doesn't seem easy to be consistently good at everything.
DebbyFitch, I see what you mean, but I think in those instances it seems to me Ev was going with her friends (and going against people she claims "screwed" her and others on the team over - i.e. people from Fresh Meat who simply voted for her and Danny) or going with whoever she felt would help her win. G3 was like the Fresh Meat circle plus CT and clinger-ons, and on The Island, let's face it, the only people who seemed to have plans to win were John and Kenny and their alliance (as well as Rachel and Kelly Anne). While it would have been great for her to take the other people on a boat and have them all win over John and Kenny, who knows how much help those other people would have been? But other than that, she seems to be a smart girl and keeps herself together during competition, unless she feels someone attacks her, and then she spazzes out (although a lot of other people do as well). I think she has no problem standing up for herself.

OPD, pay little attention. It's just latent thinking from another board.

With my verdict out on Aneesa, I would not be surprised to see her eventually go after Rachel or Tori and pick them in a Duel. The mistake I think aneesa made in Duel I was not realizing until too late that she needed to get Jodi in a Duel to have a chance. When she realized it, Jodi was on an unstoppable rampage in the missions, and won like the last 4 or 5.
You are right, Aneesa is smart and most improtantly .... distrusting ..... of anyone. I think her smarts and distrust will afford her of not making the same mistake twice.

My one disagreement was that Aneesa was aware that Jodi was the one to get out. But the chances she had to take out Jodi were not there because she was not in that time, as it was most likely Svetlana. She knew the majority of the time, but the majority of the time Jodi won.
Aneesa could go for Tori and Rachel, but the word is out on
Tori's performance
so it wouldn't shock me much to see it happen.
Random Note but.......Davis posted some photos on his face book account. There is nothing of the challenges but there are some pictures of them in Halloween costumes and where they are in New Zealand. I just found them amusing to look at, that's all.
I agree. I believe that Emily and Holly from Latin America could beat her as well. Although I don't like her, Holly from Velocity is one of the best female competitors from mtv ever. I believe that Ev is a good competitor, but she has been on challenges with sucky girls. Of course she will look like a beast compared to Kelly Anne, Paula, and Colie. I wanna see her go against a true competitor like Rachel, Holly, Emily, or even Jodi.

I saw those too, and one little thing I noticed was that Tori wasn't in any of the group pics with what seemed to be everyone else. Probably doesn't mean anything though, maybe she just wasn't around.

maybe she just didnt want to take pics
and its so dum of MTV to allow them to put those pictures in websites, kinda makes it obvious
Hey hey hey V1Man what's this your talking about lol now you got me excited for next fall ...didn't evelyn say she was done with challanges for a while...
I have a feeling someone big will be elimanated soon, I just pray it's not Rachel FTW.
Haha. To some people "big" is already all that is left. No one who has not won a duel already or has a past history of finishing at or near the end is all that is left.
I've added an additional image to those in the spoiler discussion thread and further identified all the people that I could.

First, how about making an effort with capitalization and punctuation? Honestly, this is the last time I going to respond to you if you don't.
Evelyn said she was not doing the NZ challenge or one that would tape next summer. That would be her minimum definition of "a while." After that, she is interested in doing another challenge -- either Duel 3 or Battle of the Sexes. She is not the only one who wants to do one of those two. Thus, Evelyn's next opportunity to do a challenge would be the one likely to be taped at this time next year, assuming MTV extends BMP's contract to produce more challenges.

I agree with this statement. At this point the players tht are left are all pretty darn good competitors. Although we could ditch Dunbar.
And regarding your post about Evelyn: Thats interesting to hear that she would like to go up against the best competitor possible. Insight on who that may be? Battle of the Sexes 3...Oh how I wish they would do it.

I wish they could do it too, but BOTS requires a lot of people, and BMP just doesn't have that many cast members to choose from anymore. =(
I do not believe in luck in Duels/Gauntlets/Infernos/etc. I think the person that wins, won because they knew what they were doing.
It really depends on the Duel/Gauntlet/Inferno. The ones that involve a puzzle usually are a matter of luck--whoever happens to find the right combination of pieces first, or whomever is coached better by players on the sidelines. I'm thinking back to Trishelle versus Steve on the first Gauntlet--Trishelle simply put the pieces in the right configuration initially, and that's how she won.
Also, Svetlana versus Beth--I guess you can contend that Beth beat herself, but Svet certainly didn't win because of skill or strategy.
How can you say that? We only saw her in 1 solo elemination round and it wasn't even a head to head 1
I was also talking about fresh meat, but I cant't blame her alone since it was partners. I guess we'll just have to see how she does on this one
are brooke and evelyn on good terms? Her default myspace pic has her and Ev in it? I can't see her profile, it's private.
I no!!!!!! I saw that 2
