Does this mean that Nehemiah was the first male to go home?
No, he was a "replacement" which would mean someone (CT and Isaac) would have to go home in order for him to replace them.
P.S. Not trying to sound mean, but as we are not sure of elimination order, this was the only was i could think to explain it.
Exactly...He was a replacement for "someone" and didnt even have to unpack according to V1man. So therefor I'm asking if he was the first person sent home in a duel. Logically that would make sense considering no one as far as I know of was sent home before "someone" was eliminated for violence.
I am very excited that Eric is home. Either it was him who chose who to go against or someone picked him, it is all good news to me. Some people probably wanted him to be their opponent at the end, but I'm sure there was someone afraid to go against someone stronger, or someone who might have had bad blood with him from G3, like Evan.

I agree, I don't hate Eric but I think what happened on the Gauntlet might have made people not be intimidated by him just because of his size. Either that or Evan (or anyone else from G3 but I think Evan would be the only one who would hold a grudge) is still bitter about what happened and had something against him.
If you look at the male players left, it makes a lot of sense that Eric was eliminated. Aside from Dunbar, who I'm guessing might be next, the other men remaining are tremendous athletes. It makes sense that the people left who aren't huge physical competitors are going to be pushed out before they turn on each other. If we're judging by past performance alone, I'd call MJ as the first "big guy" out. But if Landon has been in the duel already, that might not bode well for him. Depends what form he is in in NZ.
I'm eager to find out which female went home.

I'm happy Eric is gone as well. I wonder if he was the one that chose to go against someone else or if he was called out. My guess is that he had to chose someone else to duel with. Does anyone know if Landon chose Issac or if Issac chose Landon?
Eric going home doesn't bother me, but it also kinda sucks, because I would want to see what would happen if he made it far once again. MrsPlum hit the nail on the head, it isn't shocking that the weak are going to get weeded out with time. Agreed, though, Dunbar and MJ would be the next two to go.
I would also want to know who the girl is. But are we assuming with every guy there is a girl, or is that how it works?

I believe that's how it works, but it might be that a girl goes home tomorrow. I hope that Diem or Paula is the next girl to go home.

I really do too. I don't get why they are still there. I can understand Paula, but not Diem. Hopefully, they will be the next two. :)
Also, Eric going home shows that social game is playing a big factor in who is going into the Duel.

Just curious, who would you like too see win Dartagnan? My favorites from this cast are Landon and Brad for the males and Rachel and Tori for the females. I believe that Tori and Rachel are the true females competitors left, but we don't know how much of an athlete Kimberly is.

The guys side, Mark, Landon, or Brad, but mostly Brad because he needs to win one for once. Girls, mainly Rachel, but Tori, Jenn, Aneesa, and Kim are all favorites of mine too.

It would be nice to see Brad win one. I want Rachel to win for the women because I believe that she is the better athlete out of all the girls. I think Tori is the 2nd strongest female. I would like to see Aneesa make it far into the game and Mark as well.
The challenge is Landon's to lose. He is in the best shape of his life and the guys are in awe of him. He does not have a large alliance around him, so that is the only a impediment. Sadly, it appears that Brad is not at the top of the list, although his alliance has held firm thusfar.
All the guys are doing well, Dunbar included. The more interesting drama is on the women's side. Dunbar is NOT hooking up with Paula (immense good news), but there are some interesting hookups that will come out during the season or be written about it they don't.
You know, I didn't watch RW Philly.... but I think I'm rooting for Landon. I've been watching past seasons the last few weeks... and he seems like a good guy and a worthy competitor.

Landon is always a great competitor. Hey, if the alliance is getting Brad far, Landon should be worried for himself. Poor, Brad, hopefully he makes the finals.
Wow, Dunbar is doing good. Nice to see them not hooking up. Interesting hook-ups? I can't wait for this one.

They problem with being in an alpha alliance is that before the end the big dogs have to start chewing on their own alliance.
I wasn't suggesting that Dummybear was doing better than any of the other guys, but that he is not sucking. Recall the nearly countless comments in The Island thread suggesting Dunbar never proved himself physically. Some of us should take a step back regarding his ability, myself included, because I'm told we will look like idiots when the show airs. Of course, some inside production think we are idiots anyway...

Exactly. That is why an alpha alliance, isn't the best of ideas in some cases. In the end, you will just have to fight with the people you aligned yourself with.
I never stated he was doing better than others, but to hear that he is actually doing good and that when it airs we may feel stupid, is shocking.
Question: You said that since there was a sighting at the airport, there must be someone of the opposite gender, so does this mean they are sent home close in time to each other?
You know, I didn't watch RW Philly.... but I think I'm rooting for Landon. I've been watching past seasons the last few weeks... and he seems like a good guy and a worthy competitor.
Landon is one of my favorite RW/RR people, and I felt he would do well, so I am very happy to hear he is continuing to do amazingly well in these challenges. He has been the one I've wanted to win, anyway. I wouldn't mind for Brad to finally win one or Mark to win another, but Landon is my favorite out of them.
Landon is quite athletic (in the non-conventional sports sense - not a football or basketball guy) - he's done a variety of sports (wrestling, tennis, wakeboarding, etc) and mountain biking is the latest one he's been into based on his website. So it's no surprise he's in really good shape. He also seems to have some sense of adventure or daring that I think can work well for these shows. Though he's had a bad moment here or there (major drunkeness and his actions surrounding that), he seems to be a decent guy overall from what I've seen of him on TV. On the other hand, I am acquainted with someone on a message board (non-RW/RR related) that went to high school with him. She said when he visits his hometown, he acts like he's some celebrity. I was surprised to hear that, but she did say she'd known him to be a good guy before he acted like that. But since all of the people on challenges are reality TV people, I wouldn't expect him to act like that with them.

Yes, in fact both people were on the same flight together. My source identified Eric but misidentified the second person going through customs (thus, the reason I have a two independent source rule.) I would have been very embarrassed if I had named the woman I was initially told. I'll have it nailed down soon.
I'm not surprised about Landon. He's been a monster on his previous challenges, and to make it worth it to come back, I'm sure he trained hard.
So Brad's alliance is working for him? I imagine that's what has kept Tori out of the duel thus far also. Though she could very well be one of the people who just went in that we don't know about yet. I hope they can both hang in there for awhile, though I've been a bit skeptical from the beginning about Brad's chances against people like Mark and Landon and maybe even Derek.
SO glad Dunbar and Paula aren't hooking up. But I'd like them to both leave. I think I might be hoping for awhile in her case, though. Other hook-ups? Interesting...there aren't that many single people around to hook up with. Mark and Landon are in relationships, I believe Derek is too, Brad's engaged, MJ's married...who in their right mind would want to hook up with Evan? Maybe some of the hook-ups don't, er, involve men?
Hmm. So do people get sent home from NZ to, say, California and then get on connecting flights to wherever? I guess that would make sense. There probably aren't direct flights from most US cities to NZ.

Thats good. I always thought that, well maybe only in the first Duel, but I thought that they were eliminated a few days apart. That would have been a bit embarassing to put down the wrong name.

Yeah, at least he is making worthwhile the time he is returning.
I have also been skeptical about his chances, realizing he was up against way more threats than the previous Challenges. Hopefully he can hang on. Tori is definitely hanging on from alliances and old perceptions, since she is not excelling like before.

Re: the hookups... Madam, you are wise beyond your years!
LAX and SFO are the destination cities for flights from NZ and AUS. People watching at LAX customs often reveals celebrity results. There usually are a couple of photogs there would string for wire image or one of the services. Eric was easy for one of them to spot and recognize because he had partied with him before. The source who sent me a text is a regular at Cabo Cantina in West Hollywood, a well known D-list watering hole for reality misfits, and one of Johnny Fairplays' famous LA hangouts. (That is probably redundant)
Are Brittini, Aneesa, and Diem single? I could see an Evan-Paula hookup (shudder), maybe a Jenn-Rachel reunion? If it is a girl-girl relationship and not them, it makes me wonder!!!

No, yes and yes re Brittini, Aneesa and Diem
I totally agree re the gigantic alliances. It seems like it would be best to have a few close friends or allies as well as try to get along with most people but not promise them anything. Having a big alliance of, say, 15 people, for example is only going to help you through a few elimination rounds. Then you have to get rid of "your own" and it can get ugly. Though it didn't get too ugly on The Island, you would think some of the people would have realized that Kenny and John could not protect all of them and instead they should have formed their own smaller groups, or at least mostly banded together early on to get rid of the Kenny-John group (then form smaller groups).
Let's see - there's the obvious in Anessa, Rachel, and Brooke, and Jenn had something with Rachel the last challenge, so I also figured these hookups would involve girl-girl when V1 said they would be interesting.

Oh, I think male-female hookups can be very interesting, too.
Hmm, so maybe some cheating occurred. That or some girls hooking up with the guys that their friends dated before. Or the other way around. Or some person who did not seem "desirable" got with someone who would be seen as so. Or, Anessa decided to hook up or go after whoever she felt like again, like Gauntlet 2.
