Hey Everyone! I'm new here, this is my first post, long time watcher, first time poster. I'm just wondering is everyone here is American, because there seems to be alot of hate for Evan Starkman who happens to be my favorite player on these challenges, mostly because he's Canadian like myself. Alot of the animosity towards him seems to be because of how he is portrayed on the shows, but on the American versions they don't show Evan talking to the camera between commercials correct? The majority of the time he is joking and just saying stuff to **** people off, and he admits to this, but he is in no way a sexist. What's everyone else's thoughts on this?

My opinion of him was formed based on what he actually did during the past two challenges (as reported by cast and crew) and my personal interaction with him. One can certainly like a cast member for any reason at all, and your Canadian connection is no worse and no better than any other. I find it laughable, however, and entirely contrary to the facts I know that if he was joking it was decidedly cruel and played into the views of others who adopted his "jokes" that became their strategy and resulted in an abysmal display of cultural insensitivity (an ageism and sexism that sets us back to a less enlightened time). A question for you, is it worse to be sexist or to give the impression to the world that one is? In my view, Evan fails either way. It seems to me that Evan owns his behavior in real life and especially on the challenges, unless he comes forward to brand as a lie the things he said and the way he was edited. No free pass here... and BTW, welcome to vevmo.

welcome to vevmo mattyw66! Most people here are american, but we dont hate evan because he's canadian. Evan was a really cool guy on fresh meat and the duel. Most people hate Evan because of the way he behaved on gauntlet 3 especially plotting against Coral who was his partner in fresh meat, and almost everyone on vevmo likes coral! some people also hate him since he aligned himself with CT and kenny on gauntlet 3 also to get rid of katie. I still think he's a really great competitor!

Lol C.T if I remember only reason why he controlled himself lately on the last few Challanges one cause Diem was on The Duel and he would listen to her most of the time and then he blew up after she left....remember when he got eliminated he almost caused a fight with Wes...after that in the Inferno3 no Diem around got sent home cause of punching Davis...Gaunlet3 almost got in a fight with Adam but Diem was there as well...this time around Diems around again but there no longer together I say C.T's either gonna end up punching Davis again or Ryan or Protein Bear....lol

I know that the Duel 2 Just started filming. I was just wondering how long it takes to get the spoilers?

Let me take this one V1man ima take a guess and say one production week which would be 4 days and then...im gonna guess and say depending on our "contacts" who are gonna keep us updated on New Zeland depending on how long it takes them to let us know or depending on who we sight first landing back in the U.S which probably won't be till a 4 or 5 days from now..im pretty sure its gonna be In Calafornia that we see the first person come back lol(Brooke and Shavoun)

I think they would cause there taking part in violence and don't the rules state absolutely anyone who does physical contact like that will get sent home not to sure though....

That is what the cast did during G2, The Duel and G3,[/quote] Yes...That's why I edited the message since I thought about it afterwards...She was just the "only" one to have login after the 27 and she certainly has an interesting status message in her myspace: "I am back in Chicago..." But I also thought that it was probably too soon for her to be back, although they do "recover" one day when they come back to the States from New Zealand...No idea what kind of access they have to cell phones or computers since I did not watch the Duel 1 and who knows if the rules on the use of technology have changed this time...Anyway, I am glad she is not back :) but I am sure someone will be back soon hehehe

We all saw Tyrie on G3 talking to his girl friend via cell phone, and also on G3 Coral was also on a mobile device when she accused Ev and some other people about 'talking :censored2: about her'. I guess they're not allowed to being them to eliminations or challenges, or maybe it's just one community phone for everyone. Haha
