Grey's: Ep 505: There's No 'I' in Team
Just getting us going for tonight! Bailey heads a team of surgeons doing a "domino procedure" in which each surgery hinges on the one preceding it. Derek gets sole credit for the brain tumor study he did with Meredith, which you can bet leads to some tension. Lexie goes to new lengths to have George notice her romantically, and Mark counsels Callie on the ways of love. [/quote]Can't wait. Derek ****** me off this episode...he was being such an *** about the Clinical trial...It was Merideth's idea and if would have failed he would have been throwing all the blame on her so why not feel a lil bad for getting all the credit with out her even having to say anything. I would be ****** off if I was Mer too. Derek has a big head sometimes...his arrogance at times mirror's Sloanes.

Derek was being a total creep, and I'm sorry, but a pickled kidney would not be enough for [I]me[/I] to forgive and forget! LoL. I think I see some progress as well with Izzie and Alex. The theme of "Team" was very prominent this week, and there were a lot of parallels between the patients and the surgeons relationships. (More so than usual I thought). Bailey's multi-surgery was really neat, and I'm really glad it worked out for her. I've seen something very similar on another medical program ( a "real" one, not scripted ), where they were doing the same thing, but with only 6 patients I think. And it's true, Dr's get really excited at that first spurt of urine on a transplant nephrectomy. The father and son thing was pretty heartbreaking. And bless that wife for having the strength to still give for the other patients when I'm sure she wanted nothing more than to see her husband suffer. And Callie/Erika. I understand that they (the writers) are trying to do something different, but it just seems forced. I agree that Callie and Mark are much hotter! It'll be nice to see what this new Dr. (Major ******) brings to the table. I'm looking forward to him giving some of the Alpha males ([I]especially Derek!)[/I] a run for their money! :)
