Grey's Anatomy: Ep 504 - Brave New World

I hated Derek in this episode! What is up with that I am better than you attitude? It was quite off putting for him to treat Izzy like that. As usual Alex was an ******* (although his role in the wild west cowboy bit was funny.) At the end in the bar we saw just a second of true humanity from him and maybe this is the turn toward Izzy I have been waiting for... Mer was annoying as usual. "Waaaaaaaaaa! Why are you digging through my Mom's stuff! Boo hoo hoo! Woe is me. Waaaaaaaaaaaa!" I felt so bad for Lexie. George just blew her off! She'd have been there for him if he had failed the test, unlike those other so called friends... George needs to realize that 1.) She is hot. 2.) She would do anything for him. The medical cases were ho-hum this week. I did get a kick out of the Dermatology floor scenes although we knew that our intrepid surgeons would never lower themselves to popping zits for a living. The Callie/Hahn stuff didn't feel right to me. I actually had to look away and plug my ears, lol. I don't find Hahn that attractive so the thought of anyone "going to second base" or beyond with her was a visual I'd rather not have...

I know B, I felt horrible for Lexie...I hope that she hooks up with McSteamy to be honest...but not a random hook up...I hope they really start dating seriously with him realizing that she is a girl who could get past his past ho-ishness! I hate George now in a way...*******. I hated MerDer again this episode...but what else is new...the ending made me throw up a little in my mouth. Cristina made me laugh with how she acted in Dermo, it was hilarious "Snag me some of those grapes and I will teach you" ****.

Its definitely time to move the Mer-Der storyline along if they are going to keep them together. Every single week it is the same thing with them. They just need to find a new issue other than Meridith's insecurities. Derick ends up looking like a total wimp, he's starting to remind me of Ashley from Gone With the Wind. (Only better looking.) I too am uncomfortable with the Callie/Hahn stuff- it seems to me like they are just trying too hard to force this relationship on us and I just don't understand why. I wish they would let Alex be a human being for more than 32 seconds of an episode, I am intrigued by his character more than anyone else when they do.
