Nice post and Welcome to Vevmo! I agree, other than the totally obvious alliances, this one is a bit different, and I kinda like it. Although, I believe Katie and Robin are still talking. They are best friends outside of this so I think they will be fine. Although Adam and her are probably no longer on speaking terms.
Adam? I think you are wrong, but the decision point will be on Adam's choice of "alliance" Everyone (the cast) I've talked to reports they have closely watched Robin's behavior on The Island. Their reaction is no different that the majority of our views: train wreck! Friend, yes. Fool, no. People will respond in their own self-interest with regard to Robin.
For the girls, yay, Ruthie is back! It's good to see an old face from Hawaii, I've always really liked that cast. I wonder why the guys from that season - besides Teck - never want to show up for any of these challenges (says the huge Colin fan). Kim has always come off as this prissy talk behind your back type of girl, so I think she adds an interesting dynamic into that group of girls. I'm not so enthusiastic at seeing Paula yet again, and Robin in another one? RW Sydney and Denver were probably the only seasons that I'm somewhat unfamiliar with, so I'm not so sure as to what to expect from those cast members. All and all, the girls group doesn't seem nearly as interesting as the guys. Which leads into my next topic, the guys group is fantastic. I wouldn't have minded seeing Johnny here just because he would have probably one of the first guys to be sacrificed. With a group like that, there's no way anyone would kowtow to him. I'm so happy to see Landon and yes, CT back again! Brad will be a good addition, I can't believe Mark is back. I know people dislike Dunbar but his volatile temperament should bring an interesting mix into the equation. The more unstable characters they get, the better the drama! Oy, Evan is probably the most unwelcome name in that list. I'm getting excited just thinking about all the possible drama that will unfold. This looks to be a million times better than The Island.
Based on new information and a clarification from a previously highly reliable source, it's time to add another woman to the list. She said she was finished, but she waffled to her closest friends. Now she's back -- with a score or two to settle. Coral: RW: Back to New York

This is going to be a great challenge!!!!
Yes, yes, yes, yes!!! This is going to be a great challenge!!!!
I know!!! Ah I'm glad Coral decided to come back for another go around. From the cast list alone it is shaping up to be an great challenge. One thing though, it'll be awesome to see some of these older vets in there since some have never been in the Duel format. Also I wonder if it'll be changed slightly this time from the original, they might to give it a fresher feel/
Yes!! This is shaping up to be such a great challenge! It's too bad we have to wait so long. Does anyone know if BMP/MTV (?) is going for the 8-episode formula, again?
I'm glad to see Coral back as well!! Yes! With people like Katie, Mark, and Rachel, who are her friends, and people like Evan and CT, who were out to get her last time, I felt it would be interesting to see her on this challenge. Maybe she can retire if she wishes after this one. I don't want to wait too long for this one either. I have not been watching The Island that much. I've watched all the other ones but this one has made me lose some interest after the people who were most interesting to me or the ones I preferred to watch (aside from Derrick) went out quickly, and since there are people in this one I was utterly annoyed with after Gauntlet 3.
Yes! I had a gut feeling Coral really was on this one. Hot damn -- Coral, Mark, Landon, AND Ruthie?? What an early Christmas gift. Finally, a decent number of real vets as opposed to annoying rookies, and this time they wont take their crap (like on Island).

These people are pros at challenges. I think it would be interesting to see Abram on this challenge as well (but I doubt it will happen since he was in that group which listed that one of the people would be on the challenge - and that ended up being Coral).

I'm so hoping that someone sends me a text from LAX on Oct 27th to tell me that Coral is actually there. Honestly, I'm out on a limb in adding her name. I'm generally very conservative about things like this. Just as an aside, I don't think Coral is all that strong. Assuming she has not gained much weight since the last time I saw her when she looked to be not more than 105 lbs, I don't think her physical skill set is much different than the other size 0 women on the challenge.

It is greatly appreciated! Coral did very well on the FM challenges, in fact she really surprised me. Up until that point I thought she was alot more talk, with little action.
Hell yeah! coral's back and she's gonna own these girls! I can (see) her forming an alliance with aneesa or ruthie
Awww man. I love Coral. Since Duel 2 is individual I know she's going to make it far because Coral is 100% intimidation. Who wants to go against Coral except crazy Ev? (Don't get too happy, you never know she might not be there)

OH MY GOD THIS WILL BE MY FAVORITE CHALLENGE EVER. What made MTV decide to cast all these people together? I NEVER thought something like this would happen.
OH MY GOD THIS WILL BE MY FAVORITE CHALLENGE EVER. What made MTV decide to cast all these people together? I NEVER thought something like this would happen.
BMP casts the alumni and produces the show. MTV only orders the seasons and airs them. :D
Coral is a good addition drama-wise. I don't think much of her as a physical competitor, but she always makes for good reality TV. I wonder if she'll butt heads with Evan considering how the last one went down.

AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Coral and Katie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :drools: Best Challenge cast almost ever, besides Battle ot the Sexes 1. I cannot wait. Yay! I personally think Coral is a great physical competitor, and lets just say people still pick people to be safe from elimination, Coral has Paula, Katie, Rachel, Erick, and Brad that she is friends with.
Coral is friends with Paula and Eric?
Yes, I have seen many of pictures of them together, partying and out. And on the Gauntlet 3 reunion, Coral even said the only people I have talked to since are Brad, Katie, and Eric. I dont know if Paula and Coral are still friends.

And Eric was Katie's partner on Fresh Meat.

Paula...I know they were friends but I don't know now either.
I'm not sure how far Paula will get in this game. People are intimidated, but she hasn't really proved anything. The only thing she's done was send Aneesa home in I3, and all she had to do was shimmy up a wall. She was wiped out in the Duel, helped in G3 and aligned herself with strong people in The Island. She in this challenge she might just be a floater.
I may be the only one, but I think she's going home. Except for Robin, on the girls side she has nobody to protect her.
I actually agree with you Dart. I feel like she'll get eliminated as well. I see her making it decently far.
One can only hope to see Paula get the axe quickly. I think every girl on that list (except maybe Kim or Shauvon) can take Paula out. Ugh I used to like her on the Duel and I3 but now I'm rooting for her demise.
I actually agree with you Dart. I feel like she'll get eliminated as well. I see her making it decently far.
I dont even see her making it far. Paula, Diem, Shauvon, Kimberly, and Brooke will all be gone early to me. None of them have people here that are extremely behind them in any way. Paula has Dunbar and Evan, who both have nobody behind them either. Ruthie, Coral, Aneesa, Rachel, Tori, Jenn, and Diem could all knock Paula off and none of them have obligations to keep her.
