Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm back! A lot going on in life right now. Missed you guys around here. Once again, your sources amaze me as well as the cast.\ Kim- I like her, and a new face is always welcome. Shauvon- Uhh, a new face doesn't bother me, but she doesn't seem like a Challenge person. Brooke- YES YES YES! Jenn- I love Jenn. Glad she is on. Paula- Sorry, but she needs to go away. I used to like her, but this Challenge sheds her true colors. Rachel- Even more excited!!!!! Tori- YAY!!!!!!!(Bacchus, still biased?) Katie- I only need her to watch this Challenge. Robin- I don't really like her, but she is good t.v. Diem- Uhhh, don't mind her. Aneesa- I LOVE ANEESA! But once again I find her an outsider. Brad- I am glad we have someone like him on this Challenge. Mark- Woah, I'm interested. Adam- Uhhh errr, don't mind him. Dunbar- GRRRRRR. Evan- GRRRRR. Dan- He seems like a cool guy off the booze. Davis- INteresting. Not to fond of him though. Nick- A new face is good. CT- GRRRRRR. Isaac- Yes, I think ISaac is so cool. Landon- Woah, I like Landon though.

The girls list doesn't seem a lot of competitors, but it looks like Rachel is the strongest woman. For guys this looks like a very competive battle. Brad is very strong, mark is very smart and good with strategies, Landon hasn't lost a challenge yet (even though he has been on two.) It will be interesting too see how the new cast will deal with the vets. I want to see some tradition occuring newbies out first. Keep vets here.
You are not.... Of course Diem may have been either angry or drunk (or both) when she said it.
Haha, I see. Gotta love drunken rants. I think someone like Timmy would be great, I find TJ a bit boring =/.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm back! A lot going on in life right now. Missed you guys around here.
Dart!! Welcome back! We were just gonna send out the very well dressed hounds to find out where you went to.

Several cast members from The Island have told me that on the first couple of days in Panama Rachel was doing push ups in the "common area" where everyone could see her. None of them were impressed with her physicality. While I do think Kelly Anne exceeded everyone's expectations but her own, I don't think her abilities are measurably better than some competitors going to New Zealand; therefore, I don't see Rachel as an exceptional competitor. Tori has proven her physical abilities on Viewer's Revenge and Gauntlet 3. After both shows, other cast members commented on how they had underrated her -- something they said they would not repeat. Most notably one veteran woman said "Other than her emotional game, which really only comes with experience, she is the complete player." With both mental and physical physical strength, she is inferior to Rachel only in her height. Looking back at challenge history, there have been many events which appeared to favor the shorter person, particularly with regard to leverage. Others who I think can defeat Rachel one-on-one in a challenge dependent upon its design are Jenn, Aneesa, Katie, and Kimberly. Since I don't think Aneesa ever forgets, he past failed relationship with Rachel should fuel her desire to send Rachel home quickly so she can enjoy New Zealand.
So who does everyone think will be the 1st guy and girl to go? (With the cast we have so far.)
So who does everyone think will be the 1st guy and girl to go?
Guy- David- he's new and probably doesn't have any support besides Tori and Dan Girl- Shauvon- She doesn't seem like a even half way decent competitor and even her other Sydney cast members didn't seem to like her besides Trisha who isn't there.

Derek and Tori won respect on G3, so he they be listened to regarding David's ability. Another well respected veteran also has David's back, so based on the foregoing, I disagree with you. Shauvon -- If the first team mission (assuming there is one) requires flotation devices and the guys see her as an asset, she will stay. Is that likely? No.

If that's the case then I could see Nick winning a Duel better than Isaac winning a Duel, therefore I'd have to go with Isaac. I would also assume that Nick has a better shot at avoiding the first Duel since the Hollywood season seemed to be mingling with the usual challenge suspects on their Hollywood season. Isaac's only back up (that I know of) would be Dunbar.

But I have to agree with you that she doesn't seem as strong as before, and even though I love her, I also overrate her myself. Then again, we didn't see her do anything on the Island. I like Tori a lot, she's a really strong competitor. And do you really think Aneesa will hold a grudge against Rachel? She and Beth patched things up on the Duel after hating each other on the Gauntlet 2. I guess we'll see.

The push up example was simply illustrative and not comparative. That you seem to have not grasped that fact does not suggest I should award your argument much merit. The last thing upon which I would ever rely is a few minutes of edited video. (If you are going to put on a demonstration of your physical prowess by intentionally doing push ups in front of the cast, you should do them well. they apparently were not as impressive as the 100+ done by Evelyn on the floor by her bed away from witnesses that a couple of the guys surreptitiously witnessed.) Regarding Aneesa, my assessment comes from information provided by current and former cast members. One says, "If there is a "challenge' that requires poll dancing muscles (an allusion to a challenge on "I Love Money," then Aneesa is the easy winner." Aneesa didn't have any compassion toward Robin for her drunken outburst and declined to accept her apology. One cast member who has a history with both women says Rachel will ignore the history while Aneesa will quietly avenge it. As an aside, you are completely wrong about Beth and Aneesa. They did not "hate" each other on Gauntlet 2, therefore there was nothing to repair prior to The Duel. Beth disliked the situation that the challenge producer put them in and would have no part of it. Any words exchanged were "in the moment" and quickly left behind. Beth believes Aneesa is one of the stronger people listed for this challenge.

And what situation did the producers put Aneesa and Beth in? Anyway I'm always rooting for Aneesa, it's just that she doesn't seem as athletic as others. I really want her to win one.
V1 and/or Bacchus, do you know if Frank was called about Duel 2 or could be one of the members that were not confirmed yet. Because I have a theory about the Buffalo commercial showing during The Island which featured both Brooke and Shauvon (who are on Duel 2), and I believe this could have been a hint on the new cast. (I'm not sure if this question was asked yet, but I didn't see any in other threads)
Hey ya'll, Its been a while. So what happen between Racheal and Aneesa? Is it posted elsewhere? Do anybody else think Paula is gonna seem like an outcast this time around?
Will they give Angel another oppurtunity to do one of these challenges?
Any info on Emily Bailey (RR: USA) or Ellen Cho (RR: The Quest)? I know Ellen has a baby but i want both of them to come back! they were so entertaining on Battle of the sexes 1
Will they give Angel another oppurtunity to do one of these challenges?
I hope they give Angel another chance. She's a pretty good competitor and can cause drama (Road Rules 2007: VR). But I don't think she's very marketable. She was perfect for Gauntlet 3 because they needed some extra Rookies, but for something like Duel 2 they need people with more personality because it's an individual game, and every personality shows. You can't just float by undetected like you could on the Gauntlets.

Tori too.

Issac, CT, AND Landon? Holy crap this will be interesting.
This cast is turning out to be one of the better casts on the challenges..they left out all the dead no-good weight (Casey, Eric, Tyler etc). Does anyone else feel that Mark and Katie are going to get screwed outta there shot at the money?
does anyone know if alton or ace were contacted to do this challenge?

boooooo ace
hey left out all the dead no-good weight (Casey, Eric, Tyler etc).
I think you undervalued the part of my initial post where I said the cast list was not finalized and that there would be names added and names removed. To be honest, I am sure the last handful of contestants will all be cast members people are now celebrating not being on the list. It's always that way. ;)
Hm, too bad most of the people we don't want are already casted. XD
You need to reevaluate the conditions of the Island when comparing Rachel's strength. She still outlasted Robin by almost an hour, and everyone for some reason thinks Robin is in tip top shape. Rachel is very strong, as is Tori. I really hope Jodi decides to do this one, but since she won Duel 1, they probably won't ask her
