Always been a Johnny fan since the beginning (that includes everything from Key West to his very first challenge) so here's hoping he makes it far. I totally symphathized with him on Inferno 3, Cara and Susie weren't being team players, they were playing for themselves only so here's hopin they never show their faces around a challenge ever again. As for Gauntlet 3, totally glad he managed to engineer Tyler's elimination (Tyler sucks IMO) but too bad he couldn't get the team to see the truth that Eric was their weakest link.

And I agree, please don't let Susie come back, or Tyler. I don't mind Cara though.

I adored Johnny on all the shows.. but this one. He annoys me. The little personal experience I've had with him as of late coincides with this season. What happened Bananas? Was it all a ruse? BTW.. I dunno if I've posted in this thread already .. but my favorite players are Derrick and Katie. :)

I'd love to know more -- public or private -- about your experience with Johnny..
Katie is a favorite here....(and GoldenWarrior pretty much loves her ;))
In a purely friendly way of course (her boyfriend might be watching) :P Seriously though yeah she is my favorite and Derrick is another, I've always liked them both.
CT and Alton are easily the best competitors. As far as CT talking a lot of shit he still backs it up. I don't think anyone could honestly beat him in a physical challenge. I remember a few times I thought he was going to lose and then made it an easy win. Alton was just a beast. Edit- New to this forum board, but has V1man revealed which casting character he was?

Edit- New to this forum board, but has V1man revealed which casting character he was?
I'll disagree with you regarding Alton. While he performed superbly on Gauntlet and Gauntlet 2, the luster wore off (or the competition was better) during Inferno 2 where his only one-on-one challenge was against Tyrie who we've come to recognize as the female version of Rachel (Austin) -- all talk, no game. Alton's Good Guy team lost in the finals to a team with injuries. What makes a good competitor? If you only consider the pure physical aspects of the game, the CT would get my consideration. Frankly, if physical game were at the root of any challenge, then we would not need them. CT and a couple of others could simply show up at Bunim Murray once or twice a year and pick up their check. But, that is not all being a good competitor is about. There are four major components, the physical, the mental game, the emotional game and the social game. For as strong as CT is (but not in my opinion is he as strong as Landon), his emotional and social game skills are just the opposite. I don't know what you are talking about re "casting character." In my professional life, I work with casting people, have helped cast reality shows, and have represented several people who have appeared on The Real World and Road Rules. A "casting character" refers to a the characteristics and attributes of the role the casting director is seeking to fill during the casting process. One might look like this: Male, 19 - 24, minority, openly bi, high school but no college, blue collar, bad history of keeping jobs, indicated nervousness at or probability of failing the drug test, admits to binge drinking, has latent anger issues, prefers blond girls with lose morals (see role #2) ... You should get the idea.

Just peeking at some of these posts makes me realize all the LOST potential in drama! What I mean is, there's a lot of great personalities looking back at some of these challenges. I've seen all the RW/RR challenges (Gauntlets, Infernos) but I can hardly recall any of them. Reading some of the older posts makes me wish that we could get some older cast mates that haven't been on the show lately. Over the years, I think I've come to mis-judge a lot of the characters on the show, and I'll admit that I've grown attached to others that I've totally disliked. CT, being one of them, though I realize he's a controversial figure. I didn't like Landon on RW, but he was great for the challenge, it definitely portrayed him in a different light for me. Brad is another one, I've always thought of him as an idiot (dating back to RW), but I'm more than happy to admit that I was completely wrong about him. He really seems like a genuine fellow. I never did like Tonya for the longest time, from RW to a lot of the challenges, but I certainly sympathized for her in this challenge. I liked Wes, thought he was a great competitor, and honestly thought the whole argument he had with Johanna was sort of overblown (that's unless an admin tells me otherwise). But yah, I've seen and heard worse. I'm ambivalent towards Coral. While she's something of a blast from the past, I've always thought of her as being hypocritical during RW and on the challenges. She makes for great drama, but she's never been one of my favorites. Argh, I realize that this is more of a commentary, but I don't really have a favorite challenge player. There's some that I like, but no one would that I would root for to continually come back.
my favorites Katie-just love her Brad-no, not because hes hot, but because he is a really genuine person Alton-another great competitor with a good heart Tonya-shes crazy but i have also seen her as a very strong competitor(minus the island). Shes someone who can come back when the team really wants her gone, and i love that hmmm i dont know there are a lot of people i have undeciding opinions on, and far more in my dislike catagory....infact almost everyone is in my dislikes, lol
I gotta go with CT, hands down. A ruthless, drunken *******, but never dull, and oddly charming.

But yah, I've seen and heard worse.
I dunno why, but I kind of like him too. The way he treated Johanna was awful, but he is a great competitor even when the odds are against him, and he has since realized that his behavior during that time was completely out of line. She's always ready to vote off someone she doesn't like, but the second it happens to her, even if it is because she deserves to go, she's all sad because "it hurts to know that people put me in there" and blah blah blah. Hell, she upped and quit when she realized people wanted her gone. What a cop-out. I would definitely go with Ruthie was one of my favorite competitors, followed by Evelyn. Ruthie wasn't just a powerhouse in BOTS, but she also really tried to be about team unity. She had a heart of gold, and I miss her personality on these challenges. As for Evelyn, well...she's just a crazy good competitor in every way except the strategic/alliance-forming one, which could be her downfall. Although I do have to give her credit for trying to band together the outcasts on The Island to take down the Family, she made a mistake and totally forgot to take into account how spineless some people are.
my fav playa would be DERRIC*********~ Just coz despite his 5 straight challenge lost he never goes 2 that level of being a backstabbin coniving challeng player!!! and then next 2 Ev coz its bout time a female repsss ashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Landon and Cara for me. :)

Katie Beth Derrick and Kenny Katie Beth and Kenny are the most entertaining. Katies mouth is great. Beth has the best interviews, and Kenny says some really funny stuff. I've always been partial to Derrick for reasons I'm not even sure of.
Hands down its Abram I mean come on the dudes funny and he's not scared of anything lol I mean come the dude went into a faceoff that dealt with wrestling which involved the animal Derrick.....he went into it cause it sounded like"fun"........lol

I personally like Evelyn...oh and Tonya.
I like a lot of people but my favorite is Coral, i also like Brad, Aneesa, Katie, Theo, Abram, Veronica, Rachel, Tonya, Tina, Alton, CT all of them for different reasons, some (well alot) for the drama, some for the physical
what do you mean by that???
One pile would be people I agree with and the other would be those who are "nuts." People who are nuts are more fun... :laugh3:
I can't admire anyone who should have served time for criminal assault.
what has he done? The Island is the first challenge that I have watched so I dont really know anything about past challenges. So after watching my first challenge I must say that Evelyn is the best challenge player. She is willing to go into faceoffs, she is not scared of going against anybody even men, she plays her own game, has her own agenda and doesnt rely on other people. She doesnt do challenges to be on TV , she likes the mental and physical aspect of it. So my opinion is only based on the people I have seen on the Island.
what has he done?
Im going to try to answer your question best way possible I can...Idk a lot about Abram but what I think V1Man was reffering to was a couple of things he's done in the past challanges think it was on his season of Road Rules that he got kicked off for Punching and literally attacking another RR....Then again in his apperance to compete in I think it was 2005...Road Rules Viewers Revenge he got kicked off again for attacking Adam this time for the stupidest reason ever...Adam wanted to go into The Pit and Abram got mad saying he wanted to make him look bad by volunteering himself in......I was pretty surprised that Abram didn't punch anyone on the I3...
i think my top three are CT, brad and derrick. brad - he used to be kind of an ******* when he first started this whole rw thing and he kind of has grown up a lot while still keeping his sense of humor. i still flashback to my fave brad moments ("now it's a necklace!!!" and "penal code? but i didn't even take off my pants!") every so often and miss the brad of yesteryear. now he seems like a completely genuine guy who just makes it a point to get along with everyone and doesn't take this too seriously. derrick - tbh, i never saw him on road rules and i just know him from challenges. my friends and i met him like 2 wks ago when he was in nyc doing the reunion show for the island and he was honestly the coolest guy and so friendly with us. i told him to stop hanging out with johnny bananas. CT - omg. the laughs this man brings me are enough for me to think he's my all-time favorite. you know someone is good tv when they get kicked off for punching someone on the first day of a challenge. his logic always cracks me up and he's just so ***king unpredictable. great tv. as for others i enjoy...robyn! i hated her back in the day but she just seems like a sweetheart now. and while she can be very emotional, i think it's good to have someone like that around. love katie d. liked evelyn this time around. and I MISS L.T. ...HOORAH. always liked both theos. and i wish sarah would come back for another challenge. ok. wow. essays. sorry.
Abram is quite interesting to me. Don't get me wrong, I really do not like how he takes things to physical violence when he gets upset at someone. He seems to need some anger management (maybe he was like that since he was a kid since he went to military school?), though a lot of other people from the shows seem like they could use a little of that as well, including people I overall like and people who don't seem to be bad people overall. But Abram has the kind of wild personality that makes it fun to watch him do the missions (though it makes him have great or DQ performances) and watch his reactions to whatever is going on. We'll see him have moments of anger (quite uncomfortable at times), but then we'll also see some really calm and nice moments from him as well. And when he's calm, there is a sweet side of him that comes out (i.e. when he was with Coral on BOTS2, when he was talking with Robin as well as Dave and Derrick on The Island, etc). He does seem to be smart as well and I like what he's doing with building these energy efficient homes. He just kind of runs the full spectrum. I don't agree with everything he does, but he is an interesting BMP personality. Some of my favorite people based on their appearances on a challenge would probably be Derrick, Coral, Mike, Elka, RR Northern Trail Dan, Brad, Kendal, Alton, Darrell, Landon, Christena, RR Sarah, Ruthie. Some of it's based on how great they are in competition, some of it is personality, some of it is because they became rootable for me based on what was happening during the season, etc. Several of them have done something here or there that I didn't agree with, but overall I like them. Some people are so up and down for me. Like Tonya, for instance. Veronica was rootable in BOTSexes, but after that the shadiness came back. Still, she does bring entertainment to the shows, but I don't really consider her a favorite in the way I do other people because I often don't agree with what she is doing. But she does make a great "villain" - sad though that it's reality TV, so she's not "supposed" to be playing a character and it's really supposed to be who she is or what she'd do.
