The Island: MTV - Kenny Santucci
If you people think he's an *** or a *****, well then fine. But I like him. I got an email from him, since I asked him something. So he gave me advice on that and mentioned my surgery. So see for yourself: I always like to give people a 2nd chance. i would say not to worry about it, just go on with your day and if they write back then great, if not, im sure you have better things to do then waste your time with a jerk...lol. hope your doing ok with your back sweetie. take care... Kenny
Honestly, it is nice that he did that, but it doesn't change anything with me. I never thought he was this great person that he makes himself out to be, it isn't self-confidence when you brag non-stop. Plus, when you do ive in a row, and don't take a stop it gets a bit annoying. But if you like him, that's great.

I'm a Kenny fan too. Can't help it. That email doesn't sound like something he'd write though.... honestly.
Honestly I am a Kenny fan, even though he can be an ego-maniac he has times where he very caring and genuine. For instance when CT dumped a beer on Adam's head I gained respect or him when he stood up for Adam calling CT a piece of S***

I think that over board macho stuff is obviously a cover for something extra soft inside.
Good example. I have a little soft spot for CT too though. I think that over board macho stuff is obviously a cover for something extra soft inside.
Yet, we have never seen it from him. Kenny isn't as annoying when he isn't with Evan, I will admit, and I was maybe having hopes for this Challenge to change things, but then I hear that he screws Tonya so, I don't know.
Tonya??? I thought it was Johanna...
Tonya??? I thought it was Johanna...
No he screws Johanna, in the game we think he screws over Tonya.
Tonya??? I thought it was Johanna...
Figuratively, not literally. (and more toward "screwed over") The dictionary definition... Screwed = 22. Slang. to cheat or take advantage of (someone). With regard to Johanna, all we know is that they "hooked up." The range of possible meanings therein is very broad, but if you have never tried "sex on the beach," you have no idea how uncomfortable that is in reality... It may look fun in the movies, but the truth is that sand always gets in the way. I mean REALLY gets in the way. If nothing else, Johanna and Kenny are practical people, so I think what we see in the trailer is about all there is too see or know.

I'm not used to hearing it put like that- usually I hear "Kenny screwed Tonya over" or something like that. Maybe my mind's just in the gutter today. ;) Yeah I know we only have seen that they kissed... and I personally hope that she takes him for all he's worth... To get to the end :D

I have a feeling Kenny has screwed quite a few people... (and I mean that literally.) BTW, we did see CTs soft side. I think he was very sweet to Diem when they first met.. also, he was nice to Eric on the final challenge of G3.. right? lol I know that's not enough to sway anyone. Besides.. I kinda liked him in Paris.. (OOOOhh.. Cry me a riva Tina) Loved it.

I will admit, what we saw on camera of CT and Diem, he was very nice. But apparently the way he was treating her, was unacceptable. I really want to ask Kenny, if he has any problems with Tonya, but I am pretty sure he won't be able to speak on it until the show airs.

I should say she doesnt seem to be. I don't know her personally. One thing that I can say in Kenny's favor is this... If he has an issue with you, he has no problem telling you. I'm pretty sure any problem he has with Tonya has been vocalized to her.

BTW.. which challenges were Kenny and Tonya on together? I'm trying to scan my memory bank for a past issue... I'm having a hard time remembering.

The guy voted for his own team into Exile, regardless if they were going in anyways. He thinks he is some amazing person, better than everyone else. And he wanted girls gone too on the Gauntlet 3. I don't know Kenny personally, but from what I have seen, he looks too chicken to say anything vocally to anybody. In fact, I think Tonya would be more likely to tell him something. Tonya and Kenny were on Fresh Meat and Inferno 3 together.

Tonya has no idea what his problem is, other than something to do with a former friend of Tonya's who Kenny hooked up with in LA the night before he left for Gauntlet 3 in Mexico. Speaking from long personal experience, I found Tonya very approachable the first time I met her and I'm proud to call her and her husband, Adam, very dear friends. It is no fun living in Tonya's fishbowl.
Insider, you are right on the money with your assessment of Kenny speaking his mind. People get the impression from the shows & the editing that he & CT don't get along but that couldn't be further from the truth. When you see Kenny calling CT a piece of shit in his confessional for pouring beer on Adam's head, CT has no problem with him saying that because every negative thing Kenny has said about CT to other people or in a confessional, he's said it to his face as well. The same can't be said about other castmembers & I know that Kenny being blunt & honest about things is a reason why he is one of the few castmembers that CT has told me that he respects; because he's not a bullshit phony that puts on an act to get camera time or storylines.

I think we have to be careful not to try to relate someone's reality personality to his/her true personality. There are a few guys I thought would be sweethearts, who are **********. I guess that's why I enjoy Kenny.. I'm pretty sure what you see is what you get with that guy.
I don't know Kenny personally, but from what I have seen, he looks too chicken to say anything vocally to anybody. .
On the Gauntlet 3 reunion Coral said something about how at least Kenny will tell you how he feels to your face or you always know what he thinks about you.. or whatever. Anyway, I think I'm fond of him cause he reminds me of my brother a little. He has that "I'm awesome" attitude.. but I know better. You know? I can totally understand why people see him that way though. Anyway.. I respect all of your opinions.. and I hope you respect mine. :)

Katie said that she kinda likes Kenny at times. Yeah, I think I am just one of those people thats hates egotism. We respect everyone's everyone's opinion, and everyone is entitled to theirs. Coral has known him for a long time, but she continues to get ******* on by him why? Because she doesn't take his crap. but supposedly, kenny doesn't take his crap and he is respected. That excuse makes no sense. Not saying it was you, but it doesn't nake sense coming from him.
I agree, and also on the first Inferno he saved David since they were so close and took out Shane.
Sure, but it doesn't mean he's super nice. They had grown up together. Thats different. I bet there isn't one person on these shows he would save, if he had the chance.
This is not even talking about my topic but whatever. I know Kenny personally. I could probably tell you why he doesn't like Tonya. That will be invading his privacy
This is not even talking about my topic but whatever. I know Kenny personally. I could probably tell you why he doesn't like Tonya. That will be invading his privacy
Well I will def. be respecting Kenny's privacy, and in general I like Kenny. I think he's a funny player who also has the ability to focus and perform very well under pressure.

And I agree with you I like Kenny because he is who he is and he makes no bones about it. I like his egotistical behavior because it gives him a confidence that I like in a man.
I do have a few issues with Kenny, but they are my own and do not represent any one else, nor would I expect anyone to use them as simple data points that are useful in assessing anyone's character. I find nothing appealing about him playing second banana to anyone, especially to Johnny Bananas or Evan, two of the most undeservedly arrogant people on the planet. Kenny has the ability to make almost anyone laugh; his smile is infectious, and his kindness -- on rare occasions -- is legend. If he stayed on that end of his personality, I'd find him more likable, but I can't get past the dark side. - He came to the taping of the Gauntlet 2 Reunion show in NYC and stood in the wings behind the audience for three + hours not but 3 feet from me most of the time. He had no idea who I was. He had the effrontery to offer a running commentary on 1) the people he considered lame (not in his circle of friends), the "hot" young women in the audience (who could clearly hear him), and on what people on stage should be saying. I was standing with two young ladies from TJ's management agency who were upset by Kenny's behavior, so I finally asked him to move or be quiet. He moved. He was guest of MTV didn't know how to behave like one. - His participation in the "trimming the fat" conspiracy during Gauntlet 3 mark him as a coward in my book. If he really were an "in-your-face type of person, he never would have been involved. - I have never found it acceptable to "kiss and tell." Not only does Kenny do that, but like his butt-buddy on the future challenge series, he keeps a list and boasts about his conquests. While someone may see that as confidence, I see it as misogynistic arrogance. I have a daughter Kenny's age and take such behavior very personally. - I know a lot about his "Girl Gone Wild" travel experiences, but I'll keep those details to myself. Joe Francis has enough legal troubles. - I'm aware of what happened in Evan and Kenny's hotel room at HoJos near LAX the night before the cast left for the Gauntlet 3 taping in PVR, MX. I know because a woman in the room called me from Kenny's bed early the next morning to tell me where she was. Just before the cast left for Panama, I asked that one cast member pass a message to him. "Don't behave like an ******* this time; just play the game hard. If you are yourself and don't pretend to be God's gift to women, you will be better liked by more people." I'm looking forward to seeing exactly how he behaved.

I like how you told somebody to give him some advice. Very wise of you. I honestly am looking forward to seeing how he is on this Challenge. I had hopes, until you said Johnny Bananas and him joined forces, and I think I lost all hope.
