Hoping Derek takes an axe to Meredith in her sleep...

My best hope for this season is that during episode 1, there is a major earthquake and Seattle Grace (the entire building) falls on Mer's head while she is sitting on the bench in front of the building and the rubble is so deep and compacted that they never find her body...
