I agree. Your theory makes sense but I guess BMP could edit it to make it look more dramatic then it is also. For all we know, Tonya may have been slicing onions. I'm sure BMP wants to make their trailer as good as possible even if they have to trick the audience.
I agree. Her crying may not have anything to do with something relating to trust or betrayal. What if it is the stress or she has a headache? I think we will have to wait and see. But I am pretty sure they would be up for tricking the audience. V1 or Bacchus does his statement true about how dramatic it really is or is the trailer giving the Challenge justice?

I mean, if you remember Tonya from her original RW season (and I like her don't get me wrong), but she can really be a crier. But, she's also grown and changed since then.

I wish MTV would go back and post all the old seasons on their website for young people like myself who never got to see the "golden years" of the show.

One of my faves. And you're right. It is too bad you youngin's can't enjoy the older ones. ;)

I didn't think it would follow up very well to a great season in Back To New York, which is my favorite season. They do need to replay all the seasons over again. I still predict that Tonya has to be involved in some drama this season though. Those tears weren't for fun.
I just wanna see Chicago to see how Aneesa and Tonya were in their young days.
Yeah. I think it was very weird how two of the biggest drama-starters and two of the most famous Challenge members were from this season.

But your right, they should do some of those Marathons for older seasons. The 20th season was a perfect excuse to do so.

Back to Tonya, I predict that she gets taken out by someone like KellyAnne or someone unexpected. I think the newbies are going to rule this season in a sense.
I think the newbies are going to rule this season in a sense.
I agree with the exception of Dave and Ashli.
I agree with the exception of Dave and Ashli.
That is true in Ashli's case. We don't know how well Dave would have done if he hadn't left because of the fight.
Or they could just reuse the same Super Teaser released, but add the date of the first episode. I thought the Super Teaser was great and them replaying it could easily help remind the viewers at home to remember to watch. They have nothing else to reveal. They don't even want the cast to e revealed except for what they are showing us so it should remain a secret. As for Rachel being eliminated by KellyAnne, who do you think could have eliminated one of our early picks, Tonya? I know it is a battle of determination and will, but Tonya still has smarts, brawn, and will. If KellyAnne took out Rachel, she could take out Tonya as well.
Tonya's departure pretty much breaks all the recent challenge rules, but what it is will be a spoiler for another Monday. It has a significant impact on the rest of the game.
I agree. Your theory makes sense but I guess BMP could edit it to make it look more dramatic then it is also. For all we know, Tonya may have been slicing onions.
Tonya's departure pretty much breaks all the recent challenge rules, but what it is will be a spoiler for another Monday. It has a significant impact on the rest of the game.
Wow. Now that is very interesting to hear. I wonder what could possibly have happened to be so significant and break Challenge rules. How interesting. Is it better and more significant than Rachel's elimination?
They would all have cried if BMP had given them an onion... it would have been a blessing if not a miracle.
Okay. So they are fully committing to this new format. I like that. Interesting how liquor was present, but an onion would have been nice. :)
Wow. Now that is very interesting to hear. I wonder what could possibly have happened to be so significant and break Challenge rules. How interesting. Is it better and more significant than Rachel's elimination?
That would require that I state an opinion. I try to limit myself to facts in a spoiler thread. Everything is a matter of degree and perspective. When the season is over, it will be interesting to hear everyone's opinion.
That would require that I state an opinion. I try to limit myself to facts in a spoiler thread. Everything is a matter of degree and perspective. When the season is over, it will be interesting to hear everyone's opinion.
Okay. Well, it is nothing new from Tonya. She is always breaking some rule or creating some limit. Thats why she is an interesting cast member. I can't decide what elimination I am looking forward to more though: Rachel or Tonya? Rachel because that is more shocking to hear, but Tonya because I am more interested in the aftermath.
I think so too. 20 is a perfect number to release all 20 seasons as a set or replay them all. Try harder!
There you go again, resorting to that "inside the box" thinking. There is nothing interesting, beyond the norm in that idea. Try harder!
Hmmm. What part are you referring to, my part about KellyAnne taking Tonya out, or the part where I said newbies would rules this season? Int hat case I will respond to both: Tonya being taken out by KellyAnne is merely just a guess as to what would be most shocking since she took out Rachel it would be even better to see her take out Tonya and Rachel. I am trying to think if they get eliminated by an opposite team member and that is what I think will happen. Judging by the preview I think that Colie, Johanna, Ashli, Tonya, and KellyAnne are on the same team. Meaning Robin, Paula, Rachel(who isn't possible), Jenn, or Ev could possibly take her out. This is all just pure guessing. Newbies ruling the season is somewhat a change, but I mean they are better than expected. Not that they will necessarily taake over.
*speculates* like maybe it was supposed to be tonya & ev vs abram and Kenny... but some shady stuff went down & Tonya was hung out to dry?
Maybe it's a 2v2 where the weaker player on the losing team goes home. Or Ev could have helped Kenny and Abe in sending Tonya home
Maybe it's a 2v2 where the weaker player on the losing team goes home. Maybe Kenny and Abram were tied with some vote to be sent in, so it was decided that Tonya was to face both of them. But Ev and Tonya were friends on Inferno 3 if I remember. Tonya even said Ev reminds her of herself when she was younger.

In addition, he could have the opportunity to challenge someone with a partner (or even a team) and Tonya could pick a partner to help her stay in the game. Therefore, the either the challenger or the person who was challenged goes home and the others are who played as teammates are safe regardless of the outcome.
Maybe they are like survivor and people get voted off after losing a challenge?

But what I find faulty with this is how two people ended up against one.
Maybe they are like survivor and people get voted off after losing a challenge?
I wish it was that simple because that would be so cutthroat, but we already know there is some form of elimination round.
Maybe they are like survivor and people get voted off after losing a challenge?
Well we know from the Kelly Anne thread that there is some sort of elimination duel or game
Well we know from the Kelly Anne thread that there is some sort of elimination duel or game
yeah and we know it isn't solely strength based or speed based. It has to do more with endurance, will, and wits. Which Tonya has a lot of. What sucks is that going up against 2 people, the odds are against you. Tonya doesn't seem to have much of a chance going up against Kenny, who apparently hates her for some reason, and Abram who is clearly rude. It seems like everything was against her from the beginning.
I promise not to hijack a thread any of you start. Please don't do it to mine. I hate to be the thread author and the mod at the same time. Takes all the fun out of things. Re Evelyn. I was going to post some totally unrelated about her simply as a bit of comedy. I decided against it and forgot to remove the tag line which I always do before typing the main text of my comment. Some of you make Oliver Stone look like a rank amateur in the conspiracy department. Just chill out!!
Sorry about that. Didn't mean to hijack it. And I knew the Ev tag didn't mean anything. Because you don't don anything without reason it seems. I can't believe she went home first though. Can you say if her departure had any sort of aftermath? And I am thinking that Tonya had problems with Kenny on Inferno 3. Tonya wasn't around very long on Fresh Meat.

Back to the Tonya spoiler talk... I think whatever problem Kenny has with Tonya must have started between seasons either FM or I3 because I don't remember them having problems on either challenge

It seems logical that it between those two, but who knows. It could have been after Inferno 3 that their problems happened. I wonder if Tonya had a problem with Kenny though.
Maybe Kenny had problems with Tonya during I3 and we didn't see it on TV
On the challenge Fresh Meat when Wes and Casey eliminated Tonya and Johnnie, Tonya wanted Wes to come back and eliminate Kenny and Tina. That could be part of why Kenny was gunning for Tonya.
