Well, too bad she ain't a rapper because this could just add to her street cred, LOL. But seriously, I really do feel bad for the girl...Hopefully it doesn't effect her career because she is a very talented girl.

The charges are serious. Harassment in combination with some sort of assault (Strike, Shove & Kick) does not bode well for her if she is convicted and they want to throw the book at her. It will be interesting to see what changed that she should be incarcerated. Normally in a case like this there is a chance to plead out and get some sort of counseling (with a first offense) rather then be locked up. Being that they are not listing a sentence or release date I somehow get the impression that she has been jailed for a secondary reason (i.e. breaking the terms of her release, not showing up to a court date, attempting to coerce the victim, etc.) and the actual trial/conclusion of the criminal complaint is not yet complete. Just a hunch as I don't have any information beyond what we heard on The Real World and what is in the jail house document. The good news is that she has already aired this part of her life out, so it is not like we are all of a sudden finding some secret skeleton in her closet. I don't think it will set back her career, unless there are a combination of factors that leads to her serving serious time.

They would list the date of the violation rather then the initial incident. ...but you never know. This could be round 2. I'll see if I can find some clarification.

I understand that all of Brianna's fan's/bloggers/haters are going to have comments on this etc...this is completely normal and Brianna is well aware of the fact that whatever she has done from the real world expierence and so on will made public, however, this is a very hard time for Brianna, as well as her family & friends. Could her career possibly be out the window after this, yes, but there is alot more to the story & at this time please give her the respect & privacy she needs.

I hope and pray that she comes through this with nothing but sunny days ahead of her. I don't think anyone here has said anything disrespectful towards her...because we like her.

I like Bri but i think this will def take a tole on her career. Even though she's trying to make it big, she's not techincally there yet. There's plenty of other girls that are just as pretty as her, with an amazing voice, and alot less drama. When standing next to a girl who can sing just as well as you, who is the record label going to choose. If your making someone money, but costing them money too, they are going to can your ***. I'm not dissing her by any means, but we all know it's true. Right, Bri is not a rapper. The majorty of her fan base is pre teen girls and girls/guys in there early 20's. I'm sure she's a great role model for all the little kids in the world who want to be like her. I just think she doesn't have her head on straight, and until she's ready & put's in the effort, her career/life is going to go into a downward spiral. Which shouldn't happen for such a talented girl. It doesn't take rocket sceince to figure all this out, i mean the girl went on national TV and said blantly to the whole world "i want to make it big in this world, but i don't want to work for anything". It doesn't happen like that, she's lazy, bottem line, and someone needs to really tell her like it is. And if she wants her career to go anywhere she needs to open up her eyes. Wow. This is incredibly sad to hear. After watching Hollywood, I thought this situation would be past her. Too bad she couldn't get over it. She needs to get her focus in the right direction, and stay out of the dramatics. But I do feel bad, and my wishes go out to Bri.

[/quote] I tend to agree with Bacchus here. This arrest is only because of a violation of probation or what have you. Since the original charge is already out in the open, because of the show, I don't think that this will affect her career any more than the original charges did.

I don't think it will do anything to her career in the long term or anything like that but it is sad because it is a setback. But I do agree the label can cut her since there will always be another. I was able to speak to an acquaintance of Brianna's and was able to get some further details concerning her situation: Wednesday morning Brianna went to meet with her probation officer and was later taken into custody. This was because of two reasons: [B]1.[/B] She has been traveling without travel papers. She had specific orders to not attend the MTV reunion because they thought she was going for leisure purposes and not a job. MTV producers were supposed to contact her probation officer and tell them it was in her contractual agreement to be there. Obviously this was not done and her being on TV was proof she had left the state which was a violation of the terms of her release. [B]2.[/B] Brianna was told several times that she had to provide proof of work. Stripping and singing both did not fall into what the state considered a real job. This was her third strike as she had be instructed twice previously to obtain "gainful" employment. There is currently no bail set for her and she has a hearing in a week. She is facing a minimum of 90 days in jail in respect to the charges leveled against her stemming from the incident with Bobby.

omg your ppl are crazy, look i understand where you are coming from, but the girl BROKE THE LAW! w.e happened with bobby in the past might have very well been his fault, but my god, regardless it was up to bri to take care of the situation and she basically said "screw it i don't give a hoot". She violated her probation and that is what you get. I don't understand why no one sees this. All i'm saying is she needs to get her shit together, everyone wants to free her, and all is good, but this is really bad PR
