You know Kenny's okay, sure he's a cocky, self-centered, egotistical ***, but really, what's wrong with that? Go Kenny!
Exactly I like Kenny mostly because he can be down right funny at times and it'll be cool to see him Evanless this challenge.

I will admit, I might like him a bit better because there is no Evan on this Challenge. Although, Johnny is now his new Evan, so I may like him even more. I like Johnny most of the time.
Sadly, I am also starting to think that Johanna won't win either.:weep:
The only factual stuff about The Island that is online is here at Vevmo. TWOP, FORT and SR all have taken info from here, with only occasional attribution. The speculation above is not fact-based and should be read that way by our non-members who read everything challenge-related here.
I'm very surprised that people would begin to think anything about the end of the challenge, or to allow one's personal views about characters they have seen on TV to cloud their vision. Speculating is fun and gets everyone involved, which is great. But don't be delusional and allow speculation to become fact. Demand the backstory.
As for Evelyn's myspace comments, it was an unpleasant experience for all the cast members, just exactly as it was designed to be. She is only stating what will become obvious by the middle of episode two. Also, I would urge people to consider that often blunt spoken people appear to be ego-involved when actually that are simply stating what others close to them know to be factual. It doesn't come sugar-coated from Evelyn and I, for one, appreciate how refreshing that is for MTV.

Yeah, I just enjoy the speculation and everything else. None of what I actually say would be factual unless with proof from you guys. Trust me, none of these so called "predictions" I make are fact in my mind. Evelyn could still win, so could Johanna, and KellyAnne could have made the finals. I just like to think things through with different scenarios. I could give reasons with my predictions, but I figure since they are just predictions why demand reasons when it is simply and uneducated guess. Sorry if the things that I say sound like I know anything about it. If you would like reasons why I think this or that, just ask and I will gladly give my opinion.
Okay. I thought she was meaning it was unpleasant experience for herself only, so I was wondering if something particularly important happened to her, and apparently there is something to be seen about that. I don't think what she is saying is trying to make herself look great, but it comes off a bit stuck-up and that is the only thing that bothers me about her.
By the way if you don't mind me asking, what day does Beth get married?

Beth's wedding is Sat afternoon at sunset on a private beach in California.
I know you enjoy the speculating part. I do too. What can happen is that, over time and a few following posts, the replies tend to build a momentum of their own and when they have become nearly a full page, that is often all our visitors read and it becomes "truth." I can't begin to tell you how many times I see it happen.
FYI, Beth is in a People Magazine article on news stands this week. They are wrong in one fact. They say she runs an "agency" Wrong. She runs a production company. I guess they never fact check, since that can be found with research 101-level skills.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Hopefully, my speculations haven't made people begin to think that they are true.
That's cool. I may go pick up a copy.
Same here. Not because of any personal dislike, but to hopefully calm down her egotism a little bit.
Evelyn seems a bit cocky to me, but I like how she tells it like it is...I am the same way I am and it is how I appreciate my friends to be as well. The truth hurts, but usually a lie hurts more.

Yeah if the attitude were gone I would like her so much more because she is a least honestly about things instead of BSing everything. Still I never liked how she handled the Eric thing. Still I think she was in the final 8.
I agree. I appreciate that she tells it like it is, but I don't aprreciate how cocky she is and how she conspired against Katie and Coral. Even though she may regret it now she did it and that is something I do not like.

Yeah. Everyone disgusted me on that team except for Brad. That day was terrible. No matter how much money it is, it will never be worth the health of a friends. Well, me and my cousin just placed our final bets and I changed my final 8 to Paula, Robin, Ev, Jenn, Kenny, Johnny, Derrick, and Dan.

That is a classic case of Money talks. would you value your professional working relationship with Coral more than the prize money?
That is a classic case of Money talks. would you value your professional working relationship with Coral more than the prize money?
Yes. People may think I am crazy, but friendship to me is much more valuable than hurting someone over money. And what did Coral do the whole time to become a "weak player?" Nothing. If you remember the episode that she left that in that mission she was 3 seconds slower than Evelyn. It was just them getting rid of people who they didn't like.

I agree...But most do not...that is what I was trying to say.

Money does talk I agree. It'll make you do crazy things and even think of your own needs over a team mate who you hate or one whose health is bad.

Yeah I see what you mean. And I agree. That is really sad too.
Who do you think will go far in this Challenge SD?

To be honest, I haven't really thought about it that much. Everyone else is doing so much speculation that I am just kinda reading along. Let me go back and check out what we know so I can make an informed decision.

Sounds good. So do we know if it will be one elimination or two per episode yet?
I wonder if there will be a more detailed trailer coming out soon? You know, one that tells us how this challenge is going to work! Unless of course.... Bacchus or V1man wants to go ahead and tell us. ;)

I think they may release another trailer, but it won't reveal anything. I mean what if someone was going to watch the Challenge, but they were turned off by something they saw in the trailer. That is a loss of viewer. If they were to just watch the first episode they may not like the format but they could like the drama.

There will probably be another trailer or two but you're right they won't reveal anything. It seems they are making the challenge itself as vague as possible and the best we can hope for is a few drama shots to spark interest plus some slight references to the format but nothing too much.

Yeah. That is what I figured. Maybe they would show a bit more of the dramatic parts, but other than that they aren't. Why would they keep it so secretive and then blow all their hard work on a trailer.

Yeah with it being a new format there isn't anything to base it on since most of it has been kept secret. So you're right maybe some drama shots and a shot at a few of the cast members but nothing too grand until the site is up and it airs.

Or they could just reuse the same Super Teaser released, but add the date of the first episode. I thought the Super Teaser was great and them replaying it could easily help remind the viewers at home to remember to watch. They have nothing else to reveal. They don't even want the cast to e revealed except for what they are showing us so it should remain a secret.
As for Rachel being eliminated by KellyAnne, who do you think could have eliminated one of our early picks, Tonya? I know it is a battle of determination and will, but Tonya still has smarts, brawn, and will. If KellyAnne took out Rachel, she could take out Tonya as well.

Oooh, I forgot about Tonya going home early as well. Interesting.

And in the Super Teaser we did see her crying as well. So she must have something happen to her. And KellyAnne taking her and Rachel out would solidify her as a threat. But my guess about Tonya crying would have to be something dealing with trust and betrayal. If you watch the preview, she is crying after the "WHO CAN YOU TRUST?" screen popped up. Unless it was just placed there.

What Super Teaser? Is this different than the original trailer? Or does it have a new name now?

No it is the same thing. Hahaha. I will call it the trailer from now on. What do you think about my guess OPD?

Look D, don't be trying to cash in on my monster psychic abilities....I think it was a one time deal ;)
J/K
I thought it was Paula crying on the beach. But I guess the sequence in itself is a good foreshadowing of betrayal on someone's part.

Hahaha. Okay. But in the trailer there is a part where Tonya is crying. i am talking about when it flashes the planks with the names on it. Not the very end where Paula is sitting on the beach. But that also makes me think she was betrayed or something. But I think she was just sick because in the trailer when they are showing all the action shots Paula was being carried as she was barely able to walk. She was wearing the same outfit too.

I agree. Your theory makes sense but I guess BMP could edit it to make it look more dramatic then it is also. For all we know, Tonya may have been slicing onions. I'm sure BMP wants to make their trailer as good as possible even if they have to trick the audience.
