Real World 22 Casting

The MTV challenges are cutthroat and always brutal psychologically. You never give an opponent an advantage beforehand, especially not by giving them any ammunition to allow someone to say in a challenge interview that you were a "loser" and an only an "afterthought" on their season of RW or RR. It's clearly just stupid game play. It is not a matter of being "afraid."

well they are afterthoughts now but if they were on a season then that wouldn't happen. Its not like Coral is reading the boards.

As for the second sentence, Coral is retired; but, that aside, I know of at least 12 people who are eligible for the challenges who have been at this site in the past month. I don't know of any other site other than iamonmtv.com so frequently visited by MTV castmembers. Most love this one and hate MTV's. Can't blame them for having good taste.

In the past, they have also been actively encouraged not to post at other websites or to use myspace or facebook to comment about the shows.

There are several cast members giving their feedback, regarding their shows, on other websites. POPULAR websites at that. I can give you exact links to some cast members video blogging certain things about MTV and the production,etc.

Vision 1 has been involved for some time with several who refused to stop posting elsewhere in favor of MTV's own sites. Beth, for example, continued to post her challenge episode commentaries on myspace and simply later copied the same ones to iamonmtv.com. It didn't stop MTV from calling to complain, not that it did them any good.

I don't blame her at all for doing that... I'd feel much more comfortable posting something somewhere where I am able to say whatever I want to say, you know? I'd bet the Mtv blogs get read and revised by a few people before getting posted.
