Something slightly off topic. After watching the trailer numerus times. I noticed something. The part where KellyAnne is saying "I wanna kick her ***." I am almost positive that she is talking to Ev. Cause it's obviously a girl with longer hair. And it has her dirty blondish color. But the thing that gave it away was, you see her visor (lol) for like half a second. Perhaps I'm wrong? I just find that to be interesting.
Yeah she is talking to Ev when she says that. Maybe they become alliances? That would be a bit shocking. Since she is talking about Robin from what V1 has confirmed, that would mean Ev is right in the middle. She is friends with Robin. I see Ev in more drama this Challenge.
V1man has already addressed who the object of KellyAnne's ire is earlier in the thread.
Um yeah I know. I said that KellyAnne was talking to Ev, not about her, like the poster above me, we know that she wants to go after Robin, thanks to V1man. And also above-poster, I'm excited to see if those two actually do form an alliance, it definitely would be suprising.
And also above-poster, I'm excited to see if those two actually do form an alliance, it definitely would be suprising.
I would be excited as well. It would be weird because Ev shouldn't need to resort to alliances, but this Challenge may change that. Their alliance could potentially take them far.

Regarding Evelyn, to quote one of my favorite authors, she is a "mystery wrapped in an enigma." I don't see her as the alliance type. She felt burned by people she trusted during Gauntlet 3. I'd be very surprised it she made that mistake again.

I do not think she is the alliance type either, but that is why i said I would be shocked if she did join one.

cast just picks who leaves;
if there are a group of judges who decide based on an unknown criteria;
if point totals are awarded for events we've never seen before in a scoring system we know nothing about and the one with the most or least points must leave; or
the cast member actually determines his or her own fate by the choice(s) he or she makes.
Alright, so there are 4 valid choices out there and we are thinking outside the box tonight: Which one does everyone think seems the most logical?
The #1 is too simple, the #2 too strange (judges?). I think it will be a combination of #3 and #4. It would be nice if the winner of a challenge could save 1 person from elimination, or send directly someone in the elimination challenge (there MUST be some inferno-gauntlet). The greatest thing would be if there really was a treasure hidden on the island.. which anyone can search for from the beginning... and after each elimination the cast gets a clue about the treasure... that would be really cool! (my fantasies are overwhelming :flame:)
We cannot assume anything this season from what V1 and Bacchus are saying! :)
Yeah exactly they're tormenting us. I'm actually leaning toward a vote off system now rather than a Duel type thing.
Yeah exactly they're tormenting us. I'm actually leaning toward a vote off system now rather than a Duel type thing.
So am I. I just don't think it will be the typical vote-off system where they write a name down. It will be something different. I like the fact that they are tormenting us because it makes me guess and think.
mmmmm..... but then again...... there MUST be an inferno-gauntlet-fight club-Icanspithigher match or something:laugh2: and if there isn't... v1, bacchus... prepare yourself! :bottom:
I can do without an Elimination Challenge. As long as the voting off process is good and will create some turmoil I am perfectly fine with that. I am actually some what fond of straight vote-offs. With actual elimination rounds it is much easier to predict who will win, except for Sliders. The Inner Circle type concepts, were much more cutthroat.
I also am thinking that it will be a vote off type deal. It will be nice to see a change. Maybe instead of writing it down on a piece of paper they have to actually speak out the vote..... it could cause some drama.

If they speak it out there will be some drama. Great thinking.
Wpah! Just found somthing else. I watched the preview again and when Kenny and Johanna are making out there is a voice that says, "Go for the girls to get the keys." Keys? To open the chest, a box?
That would be a great twist to it. If they speak it out there will be some drama. Great thinking.
That is good thinking it could be where they have to say it out loud which would explain in the preview why Jen was crying or maybe that was a missread. There could also be a thing where some are safe from being voted out and all that.

If they went that route it would be cool. Overall, this Challenge looks better than most. Almost better than the Gauntlet 1 and the Inferno 1.
yeah..jenn was probably voted off by everyone except like one person..which is why she had made the speech talking to that one person.. once again this also looks like (referring to the 'go for the girls to get the keys' quote) the guys are gonna vote all the girls off first.

I also thought that it meant the guys were going to deceive the girls in order to get keys for whatever purpose they serve, not to vote them off. But your predictions could be right as well.
Yes, keys are important! Good catch!
well, i would definitely dislike the direct elimination by vote, I think (great drama after the vote aside) it would be boring, since it would be easy to see who's going out in advance, but then again who knows... maybe bacchus, but there's a rumor that he wants to create the biggest thread ever... so let's just keep guessing :to_pick_ones_nose2:
Yes, keys are important! Good catch!
Yay! 10 points for me catching the keys! But I am still trying to figure out why the girls have the keys, but not the guys. My feeling is the keys have something to do with opening something that holds the fate of either themselves or another cast member.
Hey guys, I'm new on Vevmo! Woo first post. Anyways, what was said was "You go after the girls to get the keys" not "You go for the girls to get the keys. MTV could have jsut edited that to make us think that Abe and the guys gave some plan to get rid of the girls, when really it could be during a mission or them trying to do something and the girls are physically going before the guys. Just a thought.
Another good catch (Morris.) It is not about girls vs guys.
Perhaps having the more keys the better (if that's possible)? and that is why Abe is suggesting it. Not that it is a flat out guys vs. girls. They could just have an alliance and that is their goal. Perhaps they can get their keys from them somehow?
Another good catch (Morris.) It is not about girls vs guys.
I figured that much. I am racking my brain trying to figure out the keys!:cryss:
I want to know how this game is going to work so bad! The suspense is killing me. So far we have: Keys are Important. Hmmmm... It is not a typical elimination Think Outside the box. 8 People Make it to the Island 4 People win and split the money. I need more clues Bacchus!
I want to know how this game is going to work so bad! The suspense is killing me. So far we have: Keys are Important. Hmmmm...
Also, it isn't the typical elimination we are used to. It is more will-power based, and to think outside of the box.
Oh yeah I forgot about that. Thanks Dartagnan.
Your welcome. I am looking for clues that could possibly go together. Another thing I noticed was V1 said that 4 people would win and split the money, but 8 make it to the other island. So i expect a final mission or the game continues once they reach the other island.
I got the feeling Jenn was voting off, or doing whatever she was doing to somebody who was her friend.
Perhaps [hopefully] she is talking about Colie? And voting her off for some reason? I'm just making an assumption, because I know how close those two are, and I can see her saying that to her. Also,
Another thing I noticed was V1 said that 4 people would win and split the money, but 8 make it to the other island. So i expect a final mission or the game continues once they reach the other island.
I find that to be really ineresting, especially if it is a individual challenge the whole way through. I wonder how that is going to work out, because yeah when he said 8 people are going over to the island.
