A couple quick questions, I must not be caught up on all the news/gossip - which I usually am - or perhaps I just forgot:
Why would KellyAnne be gunning for Cohutta? I know when they got back to the states they were in "complicated" mode as far as being together and surely that has faded but did it go so bad at some point that KellyAnne is now the equivalent of good and Cohutta evil?
I must've also missed them memo on Colie. I never hated her but have always found her to be annoying and grating at best. You're saying we like her now? Did she do anything to deserve being liked that I am just not hip to? You guys may not get me on this bandwagon.
PS - for some reason I <3 Tonya. Its hard to describe because she's not that hot but at the same time she is. The weird thing is the craziness adds to that hotness a bit. (yeah of course the Showtime "film" helped too) Didn't she get married or enganged? Is that still the case? I will always root for Tonya!
I've responded inside the quoted post to make it all flow a little better.
Kelly Anne and Cohutta quickly faded and ended, she got a **** job and and a new guy(s). Cohutta was described to me as more than a little hurt and bitter to the point that he wanted her gone early on this challenge. Hopefully, he has moved past that. Sometimes you just don't get the girl as in the movies...
I must've also missed them memo on Colie. I never hated her but have always found her to be annoying and grating at best.
I can't offer any insight into Colie. In the past, I've heard her described by her RW friends as being very different than the person we saw during "Denver."
PS - for some reason I <3 Tonya. Tonya has actually been married for several years. Her husband appeared as her "boyfriend" in Kill Reality. They were actually married at the time, but she continued to play the wild/crazy girl because that is what producers wanted. She left LA last summer so she and Adam could live a more normal life. I would not be surprised to see an entirely different kind of Tonya on this challenge. Of course, I expect the producers want vintage Tonya but were warned up front that things were different in her life now. By the way, she looked at the Cinemax role as simply another acting job, cause that is really all it was -- flesh-toned body suit and all.

Cohutta and Kellyanne went to the awards show "together" and she blew him off once there. I heard it continued downhill from that point forward.
Johanna and Colie are very good friends, so in rooting for Team Johanna you are by default rooting for Colie. I also heard she was different then how she was portrayed in Denver. I'll give liking her a shot, but as most of you know I am very fickle and any long term love needs to be earned. ;)
Well then that opens up a whole new dimension to everything really if they were at odds on the challenge. I try to give liking someone at least one shot too so I have no problem seeing Colie do well(even though I pictured her gone within the first three but we'll forget that).
Put me down for Team Cohutta. I had a hard time liking KellyAnne after the Parisa ordeal but when she showed remorse for her actions I moved her back in to the "slightly likeable" list. But after this latest news she has once again fallen out of favor.
As much as I have come to like Johanna, purely through the last challenge and through Vevmo (I could take or leave her back in the Austin days), its gonna take some convincing in the upcoming challenge to like Colie. Though i will admit that its good to hear that her off screen persona is different than the grating on screen one. Still don't think she should've won the Player award at the Awards Bash, not that they meant anything, but there were still certainly better candidates.
I don't think Tonya needed to rationalize that job to anybody. I certainly appreciate it! Hopefully she has set a precedent and more girls of reality will see the doors she's opened.

There is a Playboy thing on the horizon for some reality women. I'm sure you will see some of the Real World/Road Rules family in the mix.
but even though if this might me be a voting thing like survior, all of the eliminations make sense, because Dave Ashli, don't know anybody. Tyrie doesn't get along with people. Tonya people not a lot of people know her on this challenge. Rachel, probably no one knew who she was. Same with Abe. But then how does Dunbar, Kelly Anne, Dan, keep going. If they are following the system of voting, they seem to be voting older cast members off so the "young bloods" can take control. So presumably Derrick would be next. If this was a voting system I would hate to say this but Ryan has a lot of girls on his side. Watch out.

[*]cast just picks who leaves;
[*]if there are a group of judges who decide based on an unknown criteria;
[*]if point totals are awarded for events we've never seen before in a scoring system we know nothing about and the one with the most or least points must leave; or
[*]the cast member actually determines his or her own fate by the choice(s) he or she makes.

I've been told (hopefully reliably) that one of these scenarios is close to correct
Alright, so there are 4 valid choices out there and we are thinking outside the box tonight: Which one does everyone think seems the most logical?

most logical, who cares... what i think it should be is the cast members pick their own fate unknowingly!
most logical, who cares...
You know, I was making an outreach here by actually asking the opinions of others on this matter, and you had to go ruin the touchy feely moment. Thanks. ;)

haha, i'm just not all that into the challenges i guess so feel free to ignore me on this thread...
but i just think it would be funny to see people go home because of their own choices instead of someone ganging up on them... then no one can blame anyone else for their departure...

There are a variety of things that point to #4 being a viable option. I wouldn't be surprised if cast members were in some way individually responsible for their own fate. Still, I don't have enough evidence yet to say that is indeed how things are going to go down.
However, if we look at who has been eliminated we can almost decisively toss out 1 vs 1 "gauntlet/duel/inferno" type eliminations as there is just no way that the group that has left would all lose individually this early on. Maybe one, maybe two, but not Rachel, Tonya and Abe.
That alone is making me think differently (and we already knew this was a different type of challenge.)
Alright, so there are 4 valid choices out there and we are thinking outside the box tonight: Which one does everyone think seems the most logical?
Can I pick 1 & 4. The cast choses but to some degree they (each individual member) still has some control in their own fate?
I just thought of something the name of this challenge is suppose to be RW/RR:Escape From Ghost Island. Does that mean they have to escape the Island, and or if they win missions, and win prizes, and Money, they have the option to leave the Island take a prize, or continue on, to like a gran finally. An example of what I'm trying to say is, Rachel has won a mission, and she came on top. She had an option on, either stay in the island, and continue for the grand prize, or take $50,000, and get the **** out, if you eat like 10 peppers in 5 minutes or something. Lets say Dave one the first challenge, and he had the option of leaving with $30,000 and a trip to Europe, if he could hang on a pole for two hours, but he couldn't hang on and left home empty handed. I hope I make sense, but what I'm trying to say is the goal is to escape the island, or stay there for the final mission, to win the grandprize of $300,000 and split it among whoever is left.

Well, post it here or at SR, but not the same thing at both please.

I get what you are saying...sounds plausible.
I get what you are saying...sounds plausible.
It does indeed sound like it could be a realistic opinion but then again I don't know if they'd give them that much money like 50,000 or something like each time.
I highly doubt any of them would leave the camera, excuse me I meant island by choice.
I go for option 3, they earn a accumulation of points or some sort of system that lets them stay.
I highly doubt any of them would leave the camera, ecuse me I meant island by choice.
Ask Dave about that if you have the opportunity...

Sometimes even the camera isn't enough to keep some there and I guess any of the options could be realistic. Though for right now there isn't a 100% answer to anything about that.

First of all, they are not going to be offering $50,000 to leave in week 2. This is BMP we are talking about! Secondly, Rachel is not going to come off the sidelines, return to the challenges and then leave for a scooter (so lets just cross that off the list of posibilities right now.) Finally, I think the idea of "self-determination" is being under thought being it could mean a much broader array of things then have been mentioned.
(e.g. if you are trying to get to the end of a maze and come to a "T" in the road and can go left or right, is it not self determination that controls which way you travel? It could really mean anything is what I am saying...)
BTW: We must not forget these people are starving and miserable. I am sure that will be a factor in everything that we see.
But here is my question we all know that everybody likes Colie or Johanna for the girls but for the guys, Derrick is the only person who could destroy the others. Ryan only reason he went so far is becuase of the puzzels. Kenny has he proven anything no. Dan strong but does he know enough people. Dunbar is a lose cannon. Bannanas is strong but it seems to me at every challenge he is strong in the beginning but then in middle he is very weak.

OK, but where is your question? LOL

I'll pretend there was a question here, lol.
As much as I love Derrick, after all the challenges he has been on, he has only won once! He is at a disadvantage (in pure size physically) to just about every guy down there (except Ryan.)
The one thing he does have is heart (which is why I am a fan) but that only goes so far in most formats, which reflects his challenge record.
The good news for Derrick fans is I think that this challenge is going to rely more on heart then brute strength so he might stick around for awhile and maybe make it to the end. He could even win a second ring, which would assure his place in the hall of challenge fame. ;)

Derrick also has a great storyline going for him this time... he is fighting for his family. He got married two days before leaving for Panama and has a baby on the way. The cast likes Derrick and although they want to win the money, they don't want to been seen as totally unsympathetic ********, because they are not.
