OK, I switched. Now I just have to figure out how to get everything to work. Some images aren't showing up.
OK, I switched. Now I just have to figure out how to get everything to work. Some images aren't showing up.
The movement has started on Vevmo! Hooray! What website/images are you having issues with? (....and if they are of a more personal nature feel free to PM *wink* *wink*) The thing with firefox is it is much more web standards compliant then IE so websites that were not designed with standards in mind might not show up that well. In that case you need to use an extension called IE TAB to render as IE rather then firefox/mozilla. The next step is to email the webmaster and tell them they should get W3C compliant.
The thing I like about Firefox is that it doesn't freeze my computer or run sluggishly like my Internet Explorer did after the last time I upgraded it.
Um, the site would be www.vevmo.com
Um, the site would be www.vevmo.com"
Well we know that webmaster has his shit together, lol. What images won't load? Did you download any of the extensions as well? Screenshot, Screenshot! ;)
Oooh, what do you think of CS3? Overall, it is the best software available for retouching, but I still use the photo edit function of ACDSee Pro by Pentax to do blemish removal and skin softening (liquify) because it is so much faster. I didn't go for the production premium bundle because we use Final Cut Pro and have AVID available.
All the standard firefox plugins are here. Bonus: Microsoft Pro Photo Codecs and Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter for Windows
Oooh, what do you think of CS3? I got it with the CS3 Production Premium Bundle, but haven't had mch time to play around with it...
I am ready for CS4. I need x64 support (for more ram being 32 bit machines max out at 4GB) and hardware rendering (to take advantage of a high end GPU.) Until those two things are brought to fruition, modern hardware is not being used to its full potential, which means rendering in many situations is still slower then need be... Overall, it is still the best product out there by a long shot (with the only other photo manipulation program I using being the open source GIMP.)

I just made the upgrade :D Offtopic - I'm totally po'd that MS is forcing Vista on everyone. XP is a far better tool for the average user that it just doesn't seem fair that they've discontinued it.

Another reason to switch, it now has the Colbert bump behind it!
