Try being Mexican! The only Latina Barbie they had was Teresa, and she always just came wearing a bathing suit. At least give the girl a fancy dress just once, damn!
I actually thought the blond baby dolls were weird, though. I hardly ever saw anyone with blond hair in my neighborhood. And I always wondered how white people can see out of blue eyes. LOL
I am lucky, though. I have never experienced racism. The story is completely different with my black friends, however. I can't imagine feeling discrimination from your own people. I always felt, though, if a Mexican guy only dates white girls he isn't the one I'd want to date anyway.
LOL, yeah Teresa was my favorite barbie, BUT everyone would buy me the Barbie so I bought my own Teresa doll, striped all the blond ones, and gave all thier clothes to my Teresa doll...and in the toybox they went to keep my snakes company (yes I hid grass snakes in my toybox
I moved around a lot as a kid so I was always the target of racism...I am 3/4 hispanic and 1/4 german but I have dark eyes, dark hair and brown skin, when I lived in North Carolina I was like the only hispanic in our school of mostly blacks and white and had white cousins that everyone knew from my mothers second marriage...I wasn't white enough for the white kids and I wasn't brown enough for the black kids. Then we moved to this rich all white neighborhood in Texas near Dallas and I was "that ghetto mexican girl" that none of the rich******* liked...then when I finally made it back to my home town of fellow hispanics I just wasn't hispanic enough because my mother never taught me spanish. And this was all before I even got out of elementary school. I guess what I am trying to say is that you can't win for losing sometimes, and it all taught me to be proud of who I was and take other peoples opinion of me with a grain of salt unless it was someone I care about. I happen to be in an interracial relationship but he is Half black half Hispanic so with all the "possesion" arguments going on here, which race's women would they say he "belongs" to??

Anyone can date whomever they wish. I just said I personally would have no desire whatsoever to date a Mexican that solely dates white girls. That would be a turn-off to me, and since I'm not white, I'd think I'd be a turn-off to him as well.
