ooooh man I saw a preview today on MTV (commercial, not preview...) and it had their boss telling Greg he was leaving for good. It was a weird commercial...idk...so he does or doesnt go on Wed?

Perhaps Greg goes at the end of Ep 8 and Nick arrives at the beginning of Ep 9, or, since the editors are really doing two one-half hour shows and gluing them together with a commercial, perhaps Greg leaves in the first half hours and Nick arrives in the 2nd half hour.
it seemed like a surprisingly long time before the new roomies got there. I've been wondering if there's going to be an episode in between without Greg or the newbies.
Finding and registering on this site was the best thing I did. Whenever I need a laugh, just log on and see what crazy thing someone said. Makes my day :)
I know, but it's sooooo addictive! I have to come back and check the board WAY too many times a day. lol
Lets just go ahead and end this now and focus on the cast. Everyone in agreement? Great! ;)

There was some talk about another housemate being a "casting nightmare", wouldn't joey fall under that realm as well? I'm certain the producers knew he was very unstable before giving him the nod. Were they HOPING he'd go nutz? Seems socially irresponsible to put a guy that vunerable in that environment. I hope the guy pulls away from his demons and we don't read about him doing something crazy to himself.

He is sober. I personally dont think his situation was as bad as Ruthie's...all he did was yell and punch walls. He did not get behind the wheel of a car or pass out!! I adore Joey and hope we see him again on a Challenge (provided he strong enough to stay sober on one of those debaucheries)

I can't speak for newer members but I know a lot of us, that have been posting on here since we first got word of the cast, are all routing for Joey. He seemed like the most normal guy in the house...as long as he was sober. I wish Joey nothing but the best and while I would LOVE to see him on a challenge, I don't think that would be what was best for him any time in the near future...I mean come on seriously, we have all seen what goes on while they are on location...from TV and from "the shit they should have shown" type shows.

If you truly have a heart no one would mess with him.

Team Joey!! Someone on TWoP was saying how cool it would be to make t-shirts that say "Where's Joey?" I think it'd be cute but don't know if it would offend (since he said that phrase in drunken moment) But still funny I think :D
It shouldn't offend him because he is in a better place in life now and I am sure he knows that he had to go through that to get to where he is today.
Bacchus or V1 (or anyone else), any color or thoughts on how much knowledge producers had on his mind set before putting him on the show? I know they want ratings but casting a guy on the brink is really not cool. He's no Ruthie, as someone else mentioned, but then again did Ruthie ever discuss suicide?

He's no Ruthie, as someone else mentioned, but then again did Ruthie ever discuss suicide?
ok what is your deal....Joey is one of the best cast members from the last 10 (and I'm not joking) seasons. Why would you not want him on the show? Who knows maybe his problem would have come up later and he would not have been in the position (ie on a show with producers that have the power) to get him into rehab (good grief my English teacher would cring if she saw that sentence!) Enough with the Joey attacks please. Can we go back to attacking Greg and Kim please??? haha
Bacchus or V1 (or anyone else), any color or thoughts on how much knowledge producers had on his mind set before putting him on the show?
The thing is, he came into his interviews as a guy who had gotten past addiction and not one in the throws of it. I am sure that production thought that it would be an interesting story to see how he coped with the "Real World" and hoped to get some good footage out of it (being they knew full well the house and surrounding clubs would be an alcoholics paradise.) I suspect they had no idea that he would practically have a psychotic break when under the influence and warp to a person far from the Joey we know and they interviewed. That being said, it was great to have the opportunity to see his story and also to see that he wanted help (and got the help he needed.) I am a big Joey fan and think that he definitely added to this season in the short time he was there. Hopefully we see more of him in the future in another more Joey friendly format (Come on Jackie, hire him for Work Out!)

Why would you not want him on the show?
Nah you got me all wrong, I think Joey is great. I just question whether or not the producers are casting folks that are "in trouble" hoping they will blow up on camera.
thats what i think! he should be on work out!!!!
Maybe without Jackie Warner... She would exploit Joey as she does everyone else on that show.
Maybe without Jackie Warner... She would exploit Joey as she does everyone else on that show.
That is true, but it is a two way street if you understand that going into the endeavor. Joey could use another venue to sell his wares, especially if he does want to pursue a career as a high end trainer/ fitness model. If you look at the rate chart for the cast of Work Out, it isn't shabby and there are plenty of connections to be made in that part of town. ;)

Joey could well be part of the mix. It might even have a former Work Out sponsor that walked away from Jackie mid-season.
Hopefully we see more of him in the future in another more Joey friendly format (Come on Jackie, hire him for Work Out!)
good idea Bacchus...I absolutely love that show. and no v1 Jackie is NOT all about exploitation...at least I dont get that impression at all.

A recent update today from Greg:
"This is the final post from Prety...lmaoo..Forever.. Again..as many have stated here, it is true that on a past season of real world the girl got fired from the job for giving a child wine, and she was allowed to find another job to stay on the show..SO, mtv did nothing to help me stay there..but again..its aaaallllll good....theyll realize that they are not the only ones who have the ability to make temporary "famous" people...Sometimes someone comes on your show that does more for you than you for them...The way they did me..I will never again do anything relating to realworld...aside from this final haraah in the form of the reunion..in which I will barely speak..to show that it will be pure boredom and eye numbing stupidity if im not involved..me being on a challenge show? How many fans would like to see that..lol..sounded like ratings to me..after this incident, there will be none of that...and they dont care..they can cast 7 new strangers...soon theyll realize why this hollywood season was "truly" so popular..Top 2 in terms of ratings all time..theyll think in their clownish philosophy that it was seven strangers...hah...when in the back of their minds, they know, it was one well known person..the internet winner..The Chosen One...PretyBoy.."
damn is all i can say. he is so ***king bitter.

O-M-G :puke:
Greg is completely delusional about the ratings. Las Vegas was a 4.1. Hollywierd has not yet cracked the 2s. He needs a better drug dealer if he wants to get high.
If only he would keep his word and disappear.........
Greg is completely delusional about the ratings. Las Vegas was a 4.1. Hollywierd has not yet cracked the 2s. He needs a better drug dealer if he wants to get high.
LOL. THAT WAS SO TRUE AND YET SO FOUL.:sun_bespectacled:
will said the same thing in his king kong video on youtube about "The Real World Hollywood" being the highest rated real world also.
he always has to calculate his moves to make him seem cooler that what he really is...
aside from this final haraah in the form of the reunion..in which I will barely speak..to show that it will be pure boredom and eye numbing stupidity if im not involved
How many people here think he will really keep his mouth shut at the reunion once the questions start flying? Sure he is going to be trying like hell especially since he posted this...he will want to be true to his word BUT there is no way he is going to be able to keep his mouth shut once they start talking shit about him...he can't handle that kind of rejection.
