did anyone else notice from that clip from next week that greg pushes me?
I swear bunim-murray sucked his **** so hard because they knew he was their ratings workhorse. he was able to get away with so many of the rules that were clearly stated in contracts and orientation manuals.
a lil fyi for vevmo.
Can I just say, in the months after we left Sydney I heard that production had a hard time with storylines and kind of understood why our season wasn't so highly publicized or paid attention to by MTV; watching a few episodes of Hollywood makes it very very very very very very very clear why. This season is serving up the drama and scandal and genuinely heartbreaking human decomposition that ratings flock to but at the end of the day I'm really glad I went to Sydney and lived in a "tamer" environment. Being friends with a few of the Hollywood castmates, I know they had a lot of fun out there too but what's making the cut can only be scarring as a public remnant of such an intense (and would be/could be/should be fulfilling) experience. If any of you Williamsburg kids are reading this: have fun but watch episode 6 and 7 (and 8-12) of Hollywood to know that you don't have to wring yourself out for ratings...everything you do/think/feel in that house will be extrapolated on and it's a great time to really, REALLY evaluate yourself inside out and decide "is this who I am or who I want to be?"
Don't be fake by any means. Just THINK and make change for the better. It won't just change your life, it can inspire someone else to do the same, whether it's your roommate or a 14 year old girl in Nebraska.
Very well said Parisa, but I think that was the problem last season, there really wasn't much going on. There was drama and most of it was stupid drama like any other season, but it seemed like in Sydney, the cast wasn't that interesting besides you Parisa. You are probably the only one I respected out that whole season. I don't think this season's cast is better by any means, but I feel like this cast is more interesting for some reason, they all have their faults but their personalities clash so much with eachother, it makes for more compelling tv.

I'll be honest, I am yet to even watch the clip. I refuse to subject myself to a micro clip of a show segment (which in itself is only a fraction of the whole story.) Those are only there to get people talking and are always out of context.
However, I am not surprised that Greg broke the rules and got away with it. Hell, he should have been fired the first time he didn't show up to work and given a bus ticket home.

Just going from the most recent exposition of the rules during the Sydney season: Trisha pushes Parisa; Parisa sends Trisha home following the traditional house meeting. The rules seem simple enough to me. All too frequently, though, BMP decides what is the best TV and then the figure out how to interpret the contract to their advantage. It's not like you are going to seek legal counsel while you are part of the show.
Perhaps after next week's episode, if it is appropriate, we can ask Jon, Gil or Scott to explain the BMP corporate rationale on this. Honestly, Will, I think you give a certain cast member too much ratings credit. The show sells itself best as an ensemble cast with the fan-cast love/hater meter changing weekly as it probably should.
Thanks for your continuing contributions to vevmo.com.

You're exagerating, he barely touched you and if you want to get technical when you faked a punch to Greg's face you hit him on his shoulder as well. I don't know how you expect them to send Greg home over that fight because you were obviously the aggressor and as such you were even asked to vacate the house for the night for your actions. On and off the show you have shown you are still very immature ("He started this") and fake, you made a post in reference to Greg being a good guy, etc. but after the last episode you seemed to have gone on the attack. Be the bigger man and apologize for your actions before you come out looking like an even bigger ********* -like me. -thanks for the edit Bacchus
I didn't know Ripper saw the whole episode for next week. I appreciate your opinion and feedback on the incidents that take place on RW.
Enjoy the entertainment, just remember that's all it is. You're seeing characters of a highly edited, omitted, hell...soft scripted show (I say that because they fused together the phrases "your dads dead" and "because you're a f***ot" and threw it over footage of me with my arm blocking the view of my mouth. )
Sly move. Great entertainment.
Don't worry Rips, you'll get your apology. If you've seen any episode of RW with a huge fight, you know it ends with a makeup.

Hey, if they did do that then I apologize. But why then did Briana corroborate the events on the clip?

Just doing my part. :D
I know right....goodness I've been out of town for 2 days and I come to read ONE episode thread and it's almost 30 pages long!! And hardly anyone's talking about the episode!! Dangit I agree w/ V1Man Vevmo has kind of been a family....we don't always agree but we don't take cheap shots at eachother!! People are going to sign up and come through all the time talking smack and spouting opinions....but the fact of the matter is....Most of us don't know eachother on any sort of real-life personal level, so making assumptions and being rude to eachother is not cool. Maybe I'm just feeling Katidid's hippie vibe....LoL :)
But don't bite the hand that feeds you or you very well deserve to get the boot!:fool:
ETA: Maybe I came too late but what is ??
I think the instigators who signed up here, posted a few comments and disappeared have moved on to other boards. There's someone at TWoP in the RW threads now who looks like s/he wants to start drama because people, lord forbid, want to reminisce about the past seasons. Eh, s/he'll be reported soon.
ETA: Yep, like I said, s/he was reported and the posts were removed. It's okay to agree to disagree, but starting drama for the sake of starting drama is annoying.

I knew they would do that crap!
you would never say that about someone's dad no matter how much you hate that person
Will is a fake, he's being played by Kim and Sarah. From what we've seen Greg actually liked him, but since Greg did something to sarah that sarah did to Brianna last week, Will has to try and fight Greg. How embarrassing for him. And what he said to Greg about his father was just wrong, and i cant believe he tried to lie about how they edited it.

Lolz at you thinking we would believe you.
This is not some regular run of the mill forum here we actually have some brains here.
If you wanna argue a point without any validation to it go to IMDB.com
I finally caught the first ten minutes I missed of this episode, and it was just as bad as the rest of the episode. Trying to outburp each other at a restaurant? Ugh!
That random Asian guy looked nice and normal enough, and was sadly the closest thing RW's had towards having an Asian male in the house (RW: Vancouver does not count!). Too bad he had to be around that nonsense.

Thats one of the reasons why I just registered. Ive been around vevmo for a few months but just was too lazy to register but after this thread went from 7 pages to 30 something in know time, thought it was time for me to give my two cents. It was weird because I wasnt even registered but after the whole "disagreement" earlier, I felt like I need to jump in and defend people on here. I get a whole jokers vibe in here, which is nice. But anyways back on topic...
I dislike Greg not because of many things, but to me its the holier then thou attitude he gives off. I never like the people that think there the s**t and he is just one of those people. Now just because I hate Greg doesnt mean I love Will. Will is cool and does have his bad moments but I just feel that if you compare him to Greg, its a whole different story. And at least Will is on trying to act civilized on here. I was reading some of Gregs post and yeah, dude has issues. But I will let him slide a little bit, since he was probably mad people were talking about him, but even then, dude still has issues.
Oh and on a gross, would of been hilarious moment, am I just sick or did anybody else think it would of been funny to see Greg and Reva kiss after the whole "incident" in the confessional.

I think you hit the nail on the head. His "I'm God's great gift to this earth" attitude is what turned me off from day 1 (way back during the online casting.) I made the (correct) judgment that if a person feels a need to call others "peasants" and openly thinks they are "the chosen one" - they are probably not the type of person I am going to enjoy watching.
....and you are right, just because you don't like Coke doesn't mean you automatically like Pepsi. Each of the cast members should stand (or fall) on their own merits.
Greg to me looks like a guy who has recently lost a parent. While people deal with loss in different way, there are in most cases internal character changes, however slight, that affect those who mourn. Some people become more convivial and seek solace in others and others isolate themselves both physically and emotionally. He seems detached and unemotional, which can be misconstrued as arrogance and a "holier than thou" attitude. I think that Greg's detachment is being misinterpreted as egoism; when instead its is simply a coping mechanism for an "I don't care" I think Brianna said it well when she described Greg as a guy who tries to hide his emotions. I'm not arguing that Greg isn't immature at times but no different from the other cast mates, his approach and vernacular seem to really set him apart. He doesn't get in a persons face and instead of cursing them, offends them with "peasant, clown, associate etc".
Nevertheless, I have yet to see an instance were he was angry without getting provoked. In fact, he tends to stay away from the drama more often than not. Dave recently said following the fight that he doesn't know why he gets angry at Greg, because Greg "never does anything to him." In fact he said he was being "fake" to Greg and possibly that he (Dave) had some "deeper negative feelings" towards Greg despite not knowing why or where it came from.
Yonkers22, Carl Jung would be proud. You had made interesting observations that may only need to be filtered through the prism of BMP's chief RW editor. For all we know, her or she may have his or her own issues that are filtered through the character protrayals we see each week.
Wow, what a bunch of sheep you all are. So Will comes on here and says that the words were somehow digitized into his mouth, and you immediatley believe him. LOL. No wonder he comes in here, you guys treat him like royalty. He gets no arguments. And btw, this is the only place on the net where he is safe to go. Outside of here, he is getting smashed. Just check out his Youtube page. Brutal.
Seems like the hardcore, 15 year old girl fans who love real world, are giving him a pass, where as the men, especially urban men, and casual veiwers who really arn't fans but just happened to witness this ***** move are calling him out for it.
I found one of the qoutes on his page amusing explaining that..
he sat in a room full of women and plotted against another man.LOL He loses major points. He lost his Bro card for that one. I wonder if he actually has a ......
He seems detached and unemotional, which can be misconstrued as arrogance and a "holier than thou" attitude.
There is nothing to confuse or misconstrue here. Just ask Greg who the greatest being on God's great earth is....
(I'll give you a hint to his assured answer: it starts with G and end with G.)
And enough with the, "He had a rough upbringing so that is why he is an *******." - I don't care why he is an *******, I just know he is an *******.
I have no time for uber egoists, I don't care if it is a professional sports player, a musician or a metrosexual panty snatcher like Greg.
Seems like the hardcore, 15 year old girl fans who love real world, are giving him a pass
Thanks for the inside intel on the 15 year old girl constituency. I am sure you and the other women of that demo make up a good portion of the MTV viewership and I suspect that Will appreciates the support.
especially urban men
What you mean is Will is too white to be acceptable to the male black community. Why don't we just get this out there as that is the real reason there is a large Will hating group on this forum. I have read all 30 + pages and stayed on the sidelines, but the elephant in the room is so obvious I figured someone had to say it.
Ima dude actually, 26 at that.
Whoops, my bad.
Wow, what a bunch of sheep you all are.
I am confused. Wouldn't we be sheep if we followed what everyone else was doing? Are you saying we should stop having a thorough conversation with diverse opinions and join in on the group think melee, just like everywhere else?
Vevmo seems to be one of the only places where both sides of the argument are present. We have Greg supporters and Will supporters. I suspect that is a good thing.
Also, I am not one to base my personal feelings on Youtube comments, but hey - to each their own.

Baa, baa.
The difference may be that I don't automatically disbelieve Will because he has earned a certain level of respect here as a result of not dodging the issues. Not everything he has contrbuted here has been in public view, so legitimate newcomers and interlopers alike may lack a full appreciation of his insight. Further, you have no idea if questions about specific behavior have not been raised privately.
Calling people here sheep is insulting even though you have not mentioned a specific screen name. As I read the rules, that is out of bounds, and I ask that Bacchus enforce the rules for the greater good.
BTW, the concept of having lost his "Bro card," or even the thought of even having one in the first place seems rather infantile to me.
Honestly what has me laughing most is your comment: "casual veiwers who really arn't fans but just happened to witness this ***** move are calling him out for it." Did they think they were watching a documentary? :sarcastic_blum: Perhaps you and they would be more comfortable at a site where hate is the general order of the day.

He has a total of 6 posts, and almost everyone of them are him blaming MTV for a bad edit, or him defending himself. That's enough for you to believe him??
First of all, he is practically saying that MTV falsley put those words into his mouth. The fact that you would believe this outragous claim is mind boggling. That is a very serious claim, and it's illegal. If somebody else(houseguest) who was there can back up that claim, maybe I'll listen, but even that would be tough as I know what I heard, and what I saw. Right now it's just Will trying to protect his already damaged image. Can you blame him? No, but I wasn't born yesterday either.
He has a total of 6 posts, and almost everyone of them are him blaming MTV for a bad edit, or him defending himself. That's enough for you to believe him??
V1 man was not talking about conversations on this forum. He was talking about conversations with Will, production, media insiders, former cast members et al. outside the scope of what is in public view. Obviously not everything can be laid out here as there are confidentiality agreements in place and the outcomes of episodes yet to air are closely guarded (and litigiously actionable.)
The truth is, until we actually see the episode, it is reckless to comment on it. I have pointed that out about ten times already, but it must be more convenient to skip rationality and make wild/speculative statements over a micro snippet (rather then wait for the full story as played out over the upcoming multi-episodic span.)
That being said, Will clearly puts forward (on this forum) that he apologized to Greg and it sounded like Greg accepted said apology. That is enough for me.
Moving on...

I almost believed him for a second but in the preview clip Brianna confirmed what Will said and in the RWD clip from yesterday she confirms it again.

Im not a sheep btw.
If someone is off camera and they "say" something, 100% of the time that means they spliced something together and made that person say something they didn't say at the time.
There are so many examples of this in reality television.
One infamous example was in a reality show called the restaurant where one guy is talking over the phone to the boss and is "overheard calling" the boss "captain *********".
That situation never happened to prove my point. I dont sit around and make jugdements about a person's character off of one episode.
