hey guys its Reva, ive been talking to bacchus and since there is only one side to the story right now I will be posting my side soon.
honestly if this is reva...WHO CARES ABOUT YOUR SIDE. she isn't a part of the cast and she isn't even interesting. the only thing "she" could inform me of is if she was servin up Will. lol REVA didnt have any panties on...and she was quick to get em off. Boo her.
bacchus, i am glad you read up on me as well......and to keep the post on topic, the issue here is that everyone seems to think will is this great guy, but hes not. with greg, he wears his "*********" on his sleeve, but will seems to project this nice-guy image, when, in fact, things shown on the show and in the realworlddailies clips point to the opposite. the "normal" viewer only has this information to go on, and since i view these castmates as characters, i am going to go by what i see, not how many interviews they grant me, or how much i may know about them personally. to be honest, i dont care what they're like outside of the show.
I am not going to argue that Will is perfect, he is obviously not. I am also not going to argue that what he did or didn't do in next week's episode is defensible. It is not. Actually, we beat up on Will around here for a good period of time when things went south between him and Parisa. I have a lot of thoughts on that matter which I am going to reserve for now. It is quite obvious (as has been bandied about here) he is a flawed character. That being said, I don't like Greg at all. His personality grates me. It is not always better to be a blunt ******* instead of a quiet one. There could be a nuanced argument here in which it could be said that at least you know what you are getting with Greg - the devil you know. I personally like the *******s I deal with in daily life to act nice to my face so I can do the same and we can pass like ships in the night instead of living day to day at defcon 2. ....and you are right, I do maintain some level of innocent contact with a variety of Real World cast members and that most certainly affects what I say about them on this forum. It is only natural. Now when a cast member acts like an ******* toward me like Greg, I am going to return that misguided angst in kind.
Greg calls Will a token black boy, and Will's response is to say that Greg's father passed away because Greg is a ******. We can disagree about Will being grimey and gully, but what he said to Greg is worse than anything Greg has done to the cast mates.
ok so then its settled...greg is an *******, will is an *******, i'm an *******, you're an *******, and reva is a dumb little girl who got caught up in some embarrassing ish
ok so then its settled...greg is an *******, will is an *******, i'm an *******, you're an *******, and reva is a dumb little girl who got caught up in some embarrassing ish
I guess I could concur with that summary.
Wow...this thread got cra-zy! I would just like to say that although I am on team Greg, I'm not a troll. I've been around (albeit rarely) since Sydney. Anyway. I lost respect for Will during the second episode when he said something about how since Sarah brought home a couple of guys, that must mean she's willing to cheat on her boyfriend. Um...what? He's such a fricken sleeze ball. Sure, he's got a cute smile and he can be nice, but he's got like zero morals. Dave is a ********. He can't see beyond the bleach and silicone in Hollywood. Have we seen him do ANYTHING besides use girls for *** or potentially try to use them for ***? Because of this...I think that they are WAY WORSE than Greg and his term "Associate" (which, as a female, doesn't offend me at all. I'm more offended at how Sarah and Kim throw around the words "*****" and "****" to any female who enters the house, including their own roomate Bri!). In fact, he seems to be the only one in the house (besides Sarah) with a "normal" relationship with someone. I do not blame him for not wanting to Reva to talk to them. Do you think he's stupid? He obviously knows that his roomates have a problem with him. If Reva isn't at the house to be with Greg, than why is she there? She's what I like to call an attention *****. And like I said before, any girl that can blow Will one minute and sweet talk Greg the next is downright trashy. Sounds like a poor, abused girl to me. Give me a break. lol. What was the point of lying to Greg like that? Why the games? It's because she's an attention *****. No other explanation! I HOPE YOU READ THIS, REVA! :) So, moral of the story is that Greg does less to "objectify" women than anyone else in the house. Bri's a stripper, Dave's a ********, Will could care less about monogamy, Kim throws the word **** around forgetting that she is one, Sarah does the same, and Joey isn't in the house so he doesn't count. Ah, I feel better. lol
Yesterday was craziness. I should've waited until another day to watch it, because I came home from yoga and was in a zen mode until I watched RW. I missed the first ten minutes and caught it from the moment Bri was mocking the "hos" Greg brought home. All of these people are insane! You think you like someone (like Will) but then they end up doing something shady. Reva is stank-kay! Will, you could've been the better man, man. I knew Ryan was wussy. Those are the type of boyfriends girls have because 1) they feel they can't do better or 2) want someone that makes them look "hotter" in comparison. I'm not saying he had to be like "FOOL, I'MMA BEAT YO' ***!" but he was so freaking p***ive in defending his girlfriend against Greg. No man of mine would ever stand idly by, cowering in a corner while I got yelled at by some fool. He doesn't have to be my "savior prince," but stand by my side and have my back.
So, moral of the story is that Greg does less to "objectify" women than anyone else in the house. Regardless of the spelling error, Luckystar is right.
good moral, LOL
Thanks. lol. The other thing that gets me is this whole "verbally abusive" to Reva thing. How long have they been in the house at this point? Like a month? Two months? A real abuser takes their time and slowly gets more possessive and controlling until the victim is so manipulated that they don't know what hit them. If he just jumped right in to his "abusive" behavior at the word "go", then any NORMAL girl would have been scared away. This girl was not verbally abused, she was looking for an excuse to hook up with Will and be a **** on national TV. Her mom must be so proud. Reva wanted to be "in" with the other castmates who have a problem with Greg. You have to remind yourself that SHE is making the conscious decision to go back to the house, to hang out with Greg. Even after she kissed Will at the bar, it was REVA who called GREG the next day. She's an attention *****, and that's what attention *****s do.
Regardless of the spelling error, Luckystar is right.
What did I spell wrong? Moral? That's how you spell it...right? lol
Yeah, it is, sorry. I misread.
Yeah, it is, sorry. I misread.
Actually, I did the DREADED "than", "then" mistake!!! :dash1::D

wow, im glad things have calmed down a little. Hey bacchus, i understand where you're coming from. You probably know A LOT more than we do. But do you understand us, we are just simply discussing what we saw in the episode and whatever else we saw on mtv.com. Don't judge us for not having connections.
Also, i was never trying to defend Greg. i was just expressing why i don't like Will anymore. Greg just happen to be in the scene i was talking about, i could care less about Greg. But Will just disappointed me. I actually really liked him.

I just agree with the other 6 people in the house who all seem to share a common opinion concerning Greg. Take that with what personal experience I have had with him and then add on the vibe from BMP insiders who will not be using online casting again (anytime soon) for reasons that are apparent (not so quietly whispering it as a "huge mistake") - and you have the big picture in my humble opinion. Take it as you will.

Five other people in the house had it out for Greg from the get-go, when the only person who had a legit beef with him from the first episode was Joey after the comments Greg made about him. Joey said in an interview with the Chicago paper that he loves Greg, and all of his other roommates. As for the opinion of the other five people in the house, who cares? Will showed he has no heart with the way he talked about Greg's dad. Sarah is a hypocrite who stole things from Bri and then got mad that Greg stole something of hers. Her, and KKKim, judged Bri for being a stripper and insinuated that she only stripped to pay for her drug habit, while making fun of all of the girls that the guys bring home. Dave is an enabler whose actions led a man to relapse into his alcohol abuse, in addition to being a ******** who thinks with the head in his pants and not on his shoulders. Greg may be a bad person, but these five are far from classy.
I can see your side of things to some extent and I am not judging (much, lol.) ...BMP insiders who will not be using online casting again (anytime soon) for reasons that are apparent (not so quietly whispering it as a "huge mistake") -
Didn't Lori from BtNY become cast through an Internet vote? She wasn't that bad. Oh, wait up, she was picked to be one of the finalists via Internet vote, but from that point it was up to BMP to select her to be on either RW or RR, so my argument's now null and void. Carry on... (But I agree that using the 10-year-olds who frequent MTV.com to vote for who'd be the seventh castmate wasn't the smartest idea.)
As for the opinion of the other five people in the house, who cares?
It just goes to show that people that actually meet him (rather then just idealize his television persona) tend not to like him.
Joey said in an interview with the Chicago paper that he loves Greg, and all of his other roommates.
Will said all sorts of nice things about Greg last week, but that changed after the horrible edit he got this week. Casts know better then to take their beefs public - unless pressed.
Just curious, why do they consider Greg a casting mistake? I thought they would be enjoying all the drama that Greg brings.
Very good point and I am not entirely sure. Maybe it was the frustration of being stuck with Greg (bumping Nick off the cast) when he had no real growth potential? Oh, and they did kick him of the show, right? :)
I have yet to idealize any of the characters portrayed on the show through my posts on this message board; rather, all I've done is point to the actions of various cast members in contrast to Greg to show that everybody shits. Greg is cocky, brash, and may be a ******, but the other people on the show are just as bad, if not worse, for the things they have done. KKKim makes racially offensive remarks, Will uses women and the memory of Greg's dead father to get to him, Dave only concerns himself with popoffs and beer, and Sarah seems to only be in Hollywood to become the next Dr. Phil.

9ages already? ****.
v1man.....if you're going to be on a message board for the public then don't act all high and mighty because you're privy to insider information the rest of us arent. you are an old man whose occupation is to teach people how to stand out in reality shows. you seem educated enough, yet your whole life is based on reality tv. stop living vicariously through your ***ociations with young, hip kids who you secretly wish you could've been like your whole life and maybe use your skillset to actually make a difference in the world. **** at this david stern look-a-like. as far as bacchus, does anyoen (sic) else on this board see that hes (sic) obviously going to kiss the *** of certain people, i.e. william, since he depends on these poeple for certain information. look beyond your obvious man-crush and see that this guy william is the cl***ic "sensitive player"....he pretends like he's a good guy yet in many diff. instances this is not true. #1, trying to hook up w/ sarah even though he knew she had a boyfriend. #2, the reva incident...regardless of how big a **** greg is, you dont do that to people you know, no matter what. for someone who claims to have high morals, he should've been able to say no dice to that big eyebrowed chick, #3, dont mention dead relatives...EVER.
Let's do the analysis and perhaps then move past the BS. "Don't act all high and mighty because you're privy to insider information the rest of us aren't" -- I'm careful about what I share here. Vevmo's been a nice family where I've been welcomed and invited to share insider info when I can. If I wanted to show you "high and mighty," no one would have any doubt that I was attempting exactly that. "you are an old man whose occupation is to teach people how to stand out in reality shows" Ouch, that hurt. LOL. I'm 58, just like it says in my profile. When you are my age, I hope you don't think 58 is old. That would be sad. I still do a mile in a little over 6 minutes and the 100 meters I did in high school and college has backed off to a little over 12 seconds, off from my Iowa State relays record in 1968. My golf handicap used to be a 7; now, sadly, it is a 12. You have my occupation laughably wrong. Only two percent of my company's revenues are from 'making people stand out on reality TV.' "you seem educated enough..." -- Thank you. BA, Magna Cum Laude, MA, with distinction, JD, Diploma, National War College, Schedule 66 RR certification. "yet your whole life is based on reality TV" -- That will certainly come as news to my business partners and clients (note the 2% reality revenue figure above -- and you are well positioned to run a D&B check). The majority of our business (57%) is in consulting in the arcane legal world of international trade. About 30% is in pure public relations, some of which is Hollywood and network based. My personal ventures in the TV and film world came about through wise investments in several reality shows. Money and access do go hand-in-hand. "living vicariously through your ***ociations with young, hip kids who you secretly wish you could've been like your whole life." -- Really? you could have fooled me. And here I've been feeling very blessed in my advancing years. Best fraternity at college (with friendly Tri-Delta sisters), killer career opportunities that I took every advantage of, brief off-Broadway musical role, modeled in GQ, appeared in over 20 community theatre productions about the US, studied voice with Beverly Sills, vacationed with Gloria Steinem on Tortola, married a charter member of NOW and buyer at Bloomingdale's in NY, and am blessed with a very talented 26 yr old daughter who is an accomplished attorney and budding professional athlete. "use your skillset to actually make a difference in the world" -- Past panel member and editorial reviewer, The Stanley Foundation (a world citizenship and effective global governance foundation); Trustee, Park Ave United Methodist Church, NYC; Member, Society for International Relations, DC; Past member, Council on Foreign Relations; consultant to several internationally sanctioned arbitration panels; local food bank volunteer, battered women's shelter volunteer; volunteer, Habitat for Humanity, corporate sponsor, Juvenile Diabetes ***ociation, member, Special Forces ***ociation. Is there something else I should be doing to make a difference for you.? "david stern look-a-like" -- Who is David Stern? During Joe Gibbs first tenure with the Washington Redskins, I used to get that comment frequently. Well, after all that, I'm bored.

somebody just got pwned.
somebody just got pwned.
Sure did!
I am new to this site, yet I have watched the show from the start. The maturity level of the cast is beyond any good reasoning. The earlier episodes of the Real World seemed to have a more young adult vibe and intelligent minded vibe. Perhaps, I am getting old, but I am starting to just dislike these kids and their high school antics. The Hollywood cast are all responsible from trifling acts that escalate into unnecessary verbal conflicts. I really hope the replacement cast members add balance and direction, because this show needs it bad. The Real World show has great concept but it's failing to do anything beyond exploiting youth culture. Okay, I am getting old.
