I don't see how people can think Greg is the worse person in the house after this episode. Greg is a habitual liar who pulls real immature pranks; however, his antics are nothing compared to the other two guys in the house.
Dave pressured Joey to drink, even after Joey let him know that A) He didn't want to drink when he first came to the house, and B) He had a drinking problem. Although a lot of the blame goes to Joey for relapsing, Dave was the one who instigated the situation time and time again by enabling him to go out in the first place. Also, for all the talk about Greg not respecting women, what about Dave? He sleeps with KKKim, then goes and sleeps with another girl when he knows how the racist feels about him. While the things Greg says may be offensive to women, Dave's actions are way worse. It was not Greg's place to say that the girl wasn't that hot, just like it isn't Dave's place to act like he's married to KKKim and then go and bang other girls in front of her.
Will... I loved Will at the beginning, but we all knew he had some shadiness in him at the start with the way he handled the Brianna situation. He liked her and was pursuing her up until he found out she was a stripper. He went from all into her to disgusted by her to just being cool with her. Then he moved onto Sarah, who was already in a committed relationship. He tried to take her away from her boyfriend, just like he took Reva away from Greg. Greg may disrespect women, but Will uses them. No matter how much Greg may have put the roommates through, Will crossed all the lines when he talked about his dead father--- repeatedly. Insult the man, insult his principles, insult his childish antics, whatever, but to bring up a man's dead father and insult his memory? Will is akin Iago from Othello: shadiest character in history.
Ok...but there is no evidence to support the claim, at least not from what has been shown in the clips or on the dailies website. We are all making inferences to some degree but that seems a bit of stretch.
I don't mean with the whole world, I mean with the posters on this site, as well as the man who knows him better than all of us, that person being Will who lived with him under the same roof for however long he lasted in the house. And I really don't think it is a stretch either with the way that he acts and presents himself.

I don't remember talking about the whole world in my post, I responding to your post.
Wills opinion will definitely be skewed and far more subjective than what mtv is showing on the dailies and on tv. Sure there subjectiveness in the form of selective editing but I think MTV doing well with the dailies to give fuller context to discussion/interactions between house members. How you act in front of the camera's shows as much about you, if not more than what you do when they aren't there, which is all the more poignant given how irrationally Will has acted in this episode and the following and the massive character change he seems to have undergone following some silly pranks.

I agree with all of this. Really great post.
Wills opinion will definitely be skewed and far more subjective than what mtv is showing on the dailies and on tv
Shocker! You are saying that Will sees things differently then the selective dramatic edit of reality for a television show that we are all commenting on? Unbelievable. I am floored.
I am quite surprised how much angst is being projected toward Will over next week's episode, when in fact - not one person here has seen it. Not even the cast has seen it yet.
The only thing we have is a clip on dallies to stir the blogsphere and bring eyeballs to the table. Who would believe that MTV would take things out of context in order to make it as buzzworthy as possible? It is not like they are running a business over there at Viacom...
There are details to this story that I can not yet elaborate on. I can't promise they will make the MTV cut, but they will be known one way or another. I think everyone should take a step back and wait before coming to conclusions based on incomplete evidence.
Will said in the previews something like this "gregs dad passed away because greg's a f****t". how can you defend someone who would say something like that, and still use editing as an excuse?? Fine defend him, but to be mean to other people who are offended by him and have their own opinion is not right. And why is it that you would think the biggest way to insult Greg is to call him gay, so what if he is, what's wrong with being gay??? If Greg is a horrible person as you say he is, than you're insulting gay people.
The recent Greg love here is hilarious.
I have never seen such an outpouring of support for such a sad twisted person who constantly degrades woman, calls everyone peasants and believes he is the chosen one.
He told Reva not to talk to the other girls in the house? How sick and controlling is that?
I don't have time to list what is wrong with Greg, but it is clear that some of you have misplaced feelings on this matter and I have not a clue as to why. I have a guess, but I am not even going to go there....

LOL, Oops. I think I didn't address my point as clearly as I wanted. I'm saying that Will's POV is skewed because we don't have as much evidence to support it as the less skewed (although skewed) selection of clips that MTV show. Basically we have to go on his word and form an opinion on what he tells us as oppose to what is being shown. However from the what I've seen in the preview the confrontation between Will and Greg, which I'm assuming is the climactic portion of the episode, we clearly see Will act in a manner that is at its minimum questionable and at its worst abhorrent.
EDIT: I know you have an informed opinion on Greg and another for Will however, what most are arguing are the recent episodes. You can't tell me that Will's actions, despite being in the heat of the moment are justifiable?

Everyone in that house is degrading women in one way or another so you shouldn't single out Greg. Even the girls themselves degrade other women by calling them ho's and*******. The whole peasant thing started after he heard them talking **** about him in the confessional although Greg won't admit he is an insecure person and that must have hurt him. He reacted in that immature way as a way of concealing his pain. I can also understand why he wouldn't want Reva talking to the other ladies in the house. He knew that if she talked to them they would try to turn her against him. Which is actually what happened in one of the clips where it shows Kim and Sarah talking **** about Greg to Reva.
I can also understand why he wouldn't want Reva talking to the other ladies in the house. He knew that if she talked to them they would try to turn her against him.
This is absolutely absurd. You obviously do not recognize the classic signs of a domestic abuser.
I guess that it would be ok for Greg to tell his future wife to stay in the house (permanently) so that the outside world does not turn her against him?
Totally laughable...

Laughable...
Now Greg is a domestic abuser? Reva certainly doesn't act like a girl who is being abused. Seems a pretty independent thinker and actor (hehe) from what we've seen.
Thats a pretty big extrapolation there and still doesn't justify Will's actions towards Greg.

Lets put the breaks on the other cast members. How about we just talk about Greg for a second? It is entertaining how everything that Greg does is someone else's fault. I am not sure who is more diluted, Greg or the people that buy into his spiel.
As for the verbal abuser part, if the shoe fits...

We are talking about Greg...more importantly we're basing assessment of him on his interactions with Will, Reva and the other castmates.
As for your second point you still don't back up the claim that he has the characteristics of a domestic abuser and Reva probably isn't the apt sample of an abused woman either.

You really don't know the editing process at all. With about 900 hours of cameras running to multiple recording devices, there are thousands of hours of tape; but, we have seen less than 300 minutes on air and even far less of Will. It's impossible, no matter how badly Jon Murray wants it, to create a seamless character where we are shown the nuanced growth or exposition of a full personality from episode 1 to 7. Instead, we are subjected to the equivalent of jump cuts where we are jarred by the sudden illumination for personality traits far earlier evident to the cast but never to us.

From Will a few pages back:
Her and I would meet and plan how to get her out of this quote reva "verbally abusive relationship"

So there is it. Not only was this already covered, but it was Reva who made the inference in speaking with Will.
Is there anything else I can help you with?

Sorry but the editing process is part and parcel of reality tv. Obviously there can never be any seamless characters created based on viewing of edited clips however from what is seen we can begin to form/discover character traits of individuals, which relatively speaking constant throughout the show bearing in mind the influences of the context of different situations the castmates encounter. In Will we've seen a massive change in his character, drastic enough to question is genuineness. Greg has been basically the same character from the off, despite whatever opinion you have formed of him or the degree to which may like or dislike him you can't argue that his character as we've seen in 7 episodes has changed as much as Will, who out of all the other cast members have the most dramatic character change? Moreover, can't honestly tell me that the footage shown of Will insulting a dead family member of Greg is justifiable?

Again you are basing your thought process on one side, Will. We haven't heard from any of the other cast members or Reva herself. It just isn't enough evidence.
You are going in circles with this yonkers.
You are saying Greg is an *******, everyone knows it but it doesn't matter because Will is worse, blah blah blah (as if that justified it.)
I think I am going to hit my personal mute button....and I am starting to believe because of the veracity of your argument (although baseless) that you might have an undisclosed association to Greg.
I just can't see a "random" defending his guiltless, subversive persona.

I have talked to both Will and Reva.
Will and Reva are one side of the coin. Until you get Greg's side, you don't have the full story. As someone who DOES work with abused women, I can use my experience to say that Reva doesn't act like the stereotypical abuse victim--- there IS no stereotypical abuse victim. They come in all character types, so lets just dro pthat argument.
As far as who is worse between Greg and Will, as evident by the different opinions expressed in this forum, that's a call of opinion. Some think that Greg is a horrible person because he played so many jokes and advised Reva as to wh o she could nad could not talk to. Others, like myself, say that Will is worse, not because he used Reva to get back at Greg, but because he used the memory of Greg's dead father to hurt him.

Well that's to bad Bacchus. I don't have any association with Greg. I have never justified Greg's actions, nor have I said he was an *******, what I don't understand is why on this forum there seems to be an unbridled vehemence against Greg all the while we see clips of other castmates acting in much much worse ways. Sorry but those arguments are simply one-eyed and ignorant. If that is too much for you and other too see then I'm sorry, but I clearly have given my reasons for why Will's ridiculous actions haven't been criticized by yourself (in fact they have been praised) amongst others. Sure my arguments may be strong, but when you've lost a loved one and someone insults their name come back and tell me how you feel. Say what you want about Greg and his antics and childishness, in this case he has acted a far mature person than either Dave or Will.
Just go read the crap Greg posted on this forum. I don't feel like revisiting it, so you'll have to do the leg work.
Then you will know why he is neither welcome here or liked. This isn't rocket science.
I am not pulling my thoughts solely from the show. I have a graduated opinion based on personal experience.

Hadn't you already formed an opinion of great from your association with Will? I won't pretend to have read your discussions with him here, but I venture to assume that your opinion of him wasn't very positive prior to your talking to him on vevmo?
my thoughts on last night's episode...
Reva is skanky. nuff siad about her. I mean she went for whatever she could get. Probably just wants to be seen on tv? And was she giving Will head??? Kim implied it.
Greg isn't as bad as everyone has made him seem. When he made the comment about females I kind of agree. Everyone knows how females can act as far as gossiping and just being straight up haters. So those comments did not offend me. AND i think he keeps it real where as everyone else kinda fakes it. When he told Dave that the bar chick wasn't cute...I was thinking someone should tell him! Everyone else tried to jock the chick when he first brought her home.
Greg had me cracking up last night. I think people should lay off of him. People say he says hurtful things and well the truth does hurt. He might be out of line but who in that house at times haven't been. Side note to Greg I think he might have a lil flame in him...just certain things he says gives me the more the metrosexual vibe.
Sarah's boyfriend seemed like a BI&&&& to me cause he shoulda been getting on ANY man's head that disrespects his chick. LAMEOOOO
Side note to Greg I think he might have a lil flame in him...just certain things he says gives me the more the metrosexual vibe.
I completely agree.
Sarah's boyfriend seemed like a BI&&&& to me cause he shoulda been getting on ANY man's head that disrespects his chick. LAMEOOOO
I didn't have an overly positive view of him, but then again not everyone has to be Mr Stud to be a good life partner. I'm cutting him some slack.
Bacchus you are the best, and we all know it and stand beside you! It is really too bad to read what these people have to say to you, when they lack mental compacity!
They talk badly about Greg for riling people up, then come on here and do the same thing!
