You really wanted to ruin my day with that prognostication, didn't you?
Yeah, I was bored so I just wanted to get under your skin :)
I hope it's Wes, I would love to see him on another challenge!!
I'd love for him to pay me the money he owes me and Tonya for the "Reality Rumble."
I bet its Nehemiah
Don't go to Vegas anytime soon...

That is sad that he hasn't paid you, has he even attempted to contact you at all??
What was the Reality Rumble???
it was supposed to be a boxing match between a few different former cast memebers...I am pretty sure if you google it, you will find the website if it is still up, if not, I am sure something will come up.
Wow, that looks really cool and I I can't wait to see it! I have a few questions:
1. Is it going to be a show that comes on weekly, or once a year, or will this be a one time thing?
2. Are any more Matches going to be added to the show?
3. Is Wes and Johanna still going to be the Hosts together? (since they broke up, but that may just be a rumor)

It is not going to happen. Actually if you go to the front page it is now a website for a bowling alley, lol.

Well I feel dumb! Lol! :o. It was a good idea though. How come they didn't do it?
V1 what do you mean he owes you and Tonya money? I'm lost here, I didn't know you put that together. I thought it was an MTV thing.
Tonya signed a contract, which I negotiated, to box at the Reality Rumble. She fulfilled her obligations and was not paid. Neither was I. Wes was the principal partner in the company that put the event together. Two boxers in three fights were injured in training in the final days (Katie and MJ) so the event could not go forward. They had not purchased event cancellation insurance... (Business 101 for Dummies) There was no connection to MTV whatsoever.
so this wasn't a series just some random thing? reminds me of Gemase Simmons from Dateline if you know who that is...
I'm very aware of him. It's nothing like that at all. Just the suggestion of it is appalling in the extreme..
Reality Rumble was a very legitimate entity and a great idea. When fighters get injured in training at less than a week or two before the fight, there is nothing you can do about it. They just made one very bad decision in not securing event cancellation insurance. The company went under as a result -- lots of bills to pay with no income without the event. Everyone's intention was entirely honorable. I don't do business with fools. Wes is a good guy who made a bad decision.
If it is Survivor format I would but then I wouldn't love to see the cast vote for the winner. It would be interesting because the backstabbing and everything else that goes on would definitely come into play to bite them in the ***, but then I would rather see a physical final challenge. This whole challenge is definitely shaping up to be good.
Tyrie being taken off the cast is a little more re***uring that the Challenge will get better. Does anyone know who the most likely male alternate would be?
If it is Survivor format I would but then I wouldn't love to see the cast vote for the winner.
I suspect we need to right the ship here and maybe ask a few questions.
Although rumors do point to a "Survivor like" challenge, it is hard to say what similarities there will be. Rumors are the cast will be without electricity, but that does not mean we will see a clone of the CBS series with voting, tribes, immunity challenges etc. I get the impression that even though Viacom owns both CBS and MTV, that does not mean Mark Burnett is going to allow his golden cow to be cloned and relabeled (at least not cheaply.) Sure, it could be argued that The RW/RR Challenge spawned Survivor, but the show elements on Survivor would seem to be unique and copyrightable to some extent.
I think we need our resident expert on copyright law (as well as Mark Burnett) to step forward and give the breakdown. :yes3:
To be honest, the way I have seen it in my head since I heard that it would be a Survivor Themed Challange was - "The Duel" on an Island without amenities (house, food, electricity, showers) and plenty of cocktail "reward challenges."

True. I was just running through scenarios. And it wouldn't be quite fair if that was the final deciding vote.
I had no clue that Viacom owned CBS as well. I guess we wouldn't want to see replicated shows. What would be the point in watching one when we could watch the other.
Yeah, I pictured it being like "The Duel" just with Survivor rules. B
ut I totally forgot about the fact that they wouldn't have a house. And in some way I have to agree that a lot of the rewards will be beer. Hmm..
Update: Brooke has made the decision not to attend the challenge, as rumored earlier.
And just when I was looking forward to her hysterics and dramatic moments
