The house is going to be in the Williamsburg Neighborhood.
Williamsburg is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bordering Greenpoint, Bed-Stuy, and Bushwick. The neighborhood is part of Brooklyn Community Board 1.
Williamsburg is home to a thriving art community and is largely associated with one of its main thoroughfares: Metropolitan and Bedford Avenue. Many ethnic groups have enclaves within Williamsburg, including Germans, Hasidic Jews, Italians, Puerto Ricans, and Dominicans. The neighborhood is also a magnet for young people moving to New York City.
[via wikipedia]
Just wait till we have the house ADDRESS!
We are zeroing in very quickly. Should only be a matter of time. Hell, we might have the address before the cast even arrives!
P.s. Rock, stop whining. It isn't a good look for you. ;)

All I'm sayin is that they could've picked a better location since they have like, ya know, THE WORLD to choose from =)

The problem with that logic is that every Real World outside the United States has had the minor issue of majorly sucking and all the major metro areas in the US (that most of us care about) have already hosted a Real World season.
The fact is, it could be filmed anywhere and if the cast sucks it will suck and if the cast is good it will be a good season.
P.s. I don't want to hear about the 2 other mega cities in Texas (or mistakes by polluted lakes up north) at any point beyond this post. Cross off Hotlanta too as I'm all stocked up. Thanks.
lol at the delusional ppl on sr saying they should call it back to new york 3
********* do they know that hollywood is the 4th time they have been in cali
But only the 2nd time for LA...
"The Real World: Back Together For the Third Time in New York Again 3"
hahaha that reminds me of the tagline for "A Mighty Wind" which was "Back together for the first time again."
That should totally be a Scene It question.
Yea, I want to know whats wrong with My Hometown of ATLANTA, If it ever comes here they will probaly banned me from the street because I'd be the perfect spy.

I could live with Atlanta, DC/Baltimore, Dallas, Portland or Houston.
...but please God if there is a Real World Kansas City, Tulsa or Cleveland in the works I might just find another show to stalk.
Well, I don't think it matters THAAAAT much where it's at, because as Bacchus said it is all about the cast. Plus most of the cast is really ever from the cities where they are filmed. I think the location would take a more significant role in the series if it were about people from that location, if that makes any sense. But other than some quick scenery shots, I really don't think whatever city they have been in has much impact on the show. As long as there is a hot tub and a fish tank, it's the Real World, no matter where it's at.
BTW... wasn't there rumors of it being filmed in DC or something???
I kind of think that Savannah would be a cool city to film for some good southern flava.... but that's just me ;)
That is the rub. A small, charming southern city like Savannah would make MTV jump through hoops for 20 years before offering the proper permits to film there, if ever....
When we talk about the places that we think MTV should have brought the show, do we also consider that some of those municipalities might not want the show in the first place?
It really narrows the field.
Good point, Bacchus- some cities just don't want RW there.
After reading "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil", I'd have to agree - Savannah would be a great city to play host to RW, but I doubt that they'd ever get the permits to film there.
Light bulb! I know how to find the RW: Brooklyn house! Look for the building with the word "Brooklyn" brightly lit and obnoxiously predominant on the outside of it... extra points if you spot a camera crew filming cutaways ;)
