Real World Hollywood: Ep. 4 - The Party's Over
The roommates stage an intervention for Joey; Brianna goes to court in Philadelphia to deal with the domestic abuse charges.
This looks like it is going to be a pivotal episode in the young season. Joey seems to be up against the ropes and very well could depart tonight (although it will probably be a cliffhanger if MTV sticks with their standard editing techniques.) Everyone get the tissues ready, could be a tear jerker.
I missed the 1st 6 minutes.... Why was Joey so ticked in the car???
Im so done with Sarah and Kim. Brianna is good at what she does. Joey is nuts.
Kim: I love her holier than thou stance on strippers. Especially, since she's throwing Dave a piece of her southern fried *******. I mean really at least Brianna is getting paid to show the goods. Meanwhile, the Paris Hilton of the south is giving her stuff away for free. Sarah: Could you be any more of a clit flea? Greg: Reva looks like one of those pasty chicks on Girls Gone Wild. I'm going to say it she's not even attractive enough to be on Girls Gone Wild. I can't believe you and Will made out w/ that *** dumpster. Dave: Why are we taking an alcoholic to a bar? And, on top of that letting them even have one drink. There's no such thing as an alcoholic having just one drink. Will: Props to you for letting Brianna know her court attire was a hot mess. And, make sure you apply some lotion the next time you decide to go shirtless. What I saw looked nice but ashy. Brianna: You don't work at a strip club. That ish is not a club. It's a trailer that has a bar w/ a pole.

Omg Southern Fried ******* Lmao!!!!!
Wow, that was an intense episode. Dave is not exactly a small guy physically, but when Joey was raging I was very scared for his safety.Dave was a stand up guy during the entire Joey debacle (it's not his fault Joey choose to have even one drink as no one can make you drink) and I thought he did well considering the situation. Best moment of the episode for me was when they sat down Joey and Kim started to talk. Dave made a quick "Shut the ***k up. Please God don't ***king say another word, I'm begging you" hand signal - but it was too late and Joey immediately went off after hearing what she had to say. Kim doesn't seem to be the best person to have mediating when tensions are high, lol. Joey accepted the rehab gig just as soon as it was offered. He was crying out for help. I was impressed with the way the production team handled the situation, especially that they gave him the opportunity to get better.
my dvr just went black. I HATE YOU, DIRECT TV. oh wait...its back! And producers are there. Who are these 2 guys? I missed the floaty white i missed when they stepped in...Joey threw a water bottle....and then he was talking to producers....whats happened in between?
i missed when they stepped in...Joey threw a water bottle....and then he was talking to producers....whats happened in between?
That was pretty much it. He threw the bottle, called the producers and then talked to them. Accepted rehab, then went and told the roommates in an emotional speech.
Dare I say it? Or maybe a question to pose... Is The Real World BACK!?!?!?!?! Seriously...this season is amazing. I actually care about every cast member (ex-cept Greg lol), but at least there's issues, there's discussions, they're all mature. down to eath. Another great episode to a fantastic season so far!

Another great episode to a fantastic season so far!
I am right with you. This season has been meaningful and real from the moment it began. I feel that through 3 episodes (which translates into 6 in a normal year) we have see more action then the last 2 seasons combined (minus the ubiquitous Brooke freakouts which are in a category of their own.) Looks like next week the hammer falls on Kim. Dave seems to have made it clear from the start that he was not in Hollywood to date and I could see the warning signs early on that Kim was digging him a bit more then a ***k buddy friend. Of course, it is a bit hard at this point in the season to have sympathy for Kim.
I honestly CANNOT get over the difference in casting between Sydney and Hollywood. Someone should be promoted.
Wow! Sarah and Kim are just stabbing Bri in the back. They are just terrible people. Joey was right when he spoke up in the car, they don't know what it's like to be in Bri's shoes. She comes from a totally different life. She explained to them why she started dancing-to pay for an abortion. She could never earn enough money for that working minimum wage at McDonalds. A person just cannot live on minimum wage. Also, the dancing Bri was doing at her strip club reminded me of the dancing we saw Kim doing earlier in the season.
Gosh I love how Kim wants to kick everybody out when she's sleeping but last episode when Joey was sleeping she just carried on with the rest of them.
Amazing, amazing, amazing. This is an unbelievable season.
kim is an under cover ***** so she has no right to talk crap about bri dancing sooo what she dances for men and gets PAID thats the whole cath which kim is dumb to think about yet kim goes and sleeps with men n dont want a b.f wow thats a ***** move!!!! this season is very dramatic with joey i feel bad for him yet he seriously needs major help more than drew since he is still drinking back in chi town!! he is a hot guy but he shouldn't let that go to his head.
Why was Joey ticked when he was in the car? I missed the first six minutes of the show?
Why was Joey ticked when he was in the car? I missed the first six minutes of the show?
Joey was angry that Kim and Sarah were dissing Brianna (and all strippers) and basically acting high & mighty saying that they respect their bodies, etc and would never strip. Dave was trying to make the point (and a somewhat valid one) that not all people get to choose and that the money that could be made stripping would be a windfall compared to what they would make doing something else. He was not saying that everyone should strip, just that it is an option that some woman take and that he actually knows some that are just like Sarah (attempting to get the point across that not all strippers fit the stereotype.) Then Kim said that they should just work at McDonald's (and said it in a way that basically telegraphed that she would never work at McDonald's but the poor people should.) Oh, and then she said that strippers strip to pay for their drugs. Joey could relate to the situation that Bri was in and was very angry that the girls would not take a moment to think about things from the other side (i.e. where he has come from in his life.) That is why he was angry in the car and shared that he has slept on a park bench for two days straight and eaten from a trash can as a starving janitor.
Future Kim? I love french fries! Yummy Yummy Yummy!
Future Kim?
LMAO...BUT you forgot her Tiara, because you know she would have to wear something sparkly to jazz up her uniform.
I'm sure I'll watch it online tonight!
It is a must watch! I hope seeing themselves on TV being so hipocritical and judgemental will help open Sarah and Kim's eyes to the fact they live in a perfect little box that doesn't surround everyone in life. Not everyone has thier momma and daddy to fall back on.

Bri says she knows she can do better than being a stripper, which I'll take as partial proof of Kim and Sarah's perspective. If she needs to make baby steeps, then maybe she can escape the place where she is working and get hired at the club by the Philly airport where Aneesa strips.

I guess she should move on up to a better club because she seems to be really good at what she does...I loved how she just had to take that pole for a familiar spin, LOL
Bri looked hot on the pole though man. She's got some moves!

I liked everyone last night for some reason including greg:censored2: and another thing I hope kim learns from this whole thing I think real world will be around for a long time now. It seems we have come full circle with issues and maturity that was lacking the last couple of seasons. I hope the teenyboppers who voted for austin as best season sees their error of their ways now lol
I liked everyone last night for some reason including greg
Greg is growing on me like a cancer. As long as he only has a few lines per show and stops posting on message boards, I can deal.
Greg is growing on me like a cancer. As long as he only has a few lines per show and stops posting on message boards, I can deal.
Yeah I think I have figured out that Greg is like one of those guys who is just brutally honest 99% of the time, whether it hurts someones feelings or not...and he thinks very highly of himself. I like him on the show most of the time, I just get irritated with how cocky he is sometimes.
Yay! I'm glad everyone is enjoying it as much as I have been. :) For what it's worth, I too was SHOCKED when Austin was voted best season. Did I miss something? I damn near every other season was better than Austin except Denver. I am happy to see them confronting REAL issues this season. There was something I caught though- when Joey was talking about Suicide, aren't the producers supposed to inform authorities when someone does something like that? I don't know.... but it certainly made for good tv seeing Joey's meltdown unfortunately at his expense and the roommates. Will and Brianna seem to think they could have prevented his melt down. What do you guys think? I don't think it really would have made a difference. If anything it may have postponed his unravelling, but I think it would have happened eventually. I think we have an interesting mix of people. Obviously, there are a lot of prejudices floating amidst. What's interesting though is these people as bad as some of them are, don't strike me to be as shallow as Trisha. I know some of you have compared Kim and Sara to the scum of Trisha, but I disagree. Kim and Sara may think stripping is morally wrong but they don't act HATEFUL about it. They don't back down on their opinions but they haven't condemned anyone to hell for choosing to strip. BTW, I'm really exhausted over hearing about whether Bri is albino and comments about her stripping. Do either of these things really matter? I'm really excited about seeing where she's going and would love for them to show her perform a song. :) Greg..... (I cant believe i'm admitting this,) he really isn't ALL bad, is he? There are times that I can't stand him, but sometimes he acts human and downright kind. Not often, but sometimes. I think this guy has some SERIOUS deep issues that he's suppressing involving security and fear of abandonment. He pushes people away before they even get close to being able to hurt him. I mean, who else talks more about how they were afraid of being beat down by a drunk guy after an incedent like Joey? I know, I would have been more concerned about Joey and less worried about how I may have looked being sober getting beat down by a drunk "Incredible Hulk". thats all for now! Peace out and happy viewing!

I view that the same as Bri's stripping. It just went that way...it doesnt mean by any chance that she (Kim) is a bad person. She was just kind of taught that way, I'm sure. She's arrogant...but by the end of the show...I bet she's a fave. (i bet...or i hope....hmm)
