Survivor Micronesia: Life at Ponderosa
Well I have heard of some people trying to watch the Life at Ponderosa on Cbs.com and it not working for them so I am going to post it on here. You can watch them and talk about it. I am going to begin from a Eliza to Jason and so on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKhKiOhMd6c&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mT8WGUZw5uA&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3Rse8Oaj6w&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtgGR19tO_Y&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BTg4bLvUdA&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SzZCc6b4Nfs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UERm_s8vkU
Thanks for posting all the videos Pheonix. You know, Jason sounded like he was actually close to playing the idol although we didn't even get a hint of that at tribal council. I wonder if there was any truth to that. It is good to see Ozzy and Jason getting along. It would be funny if Parv was voted out next. It sounds like Ozzy might not be as accepting of her presence!
It would be funny if Parv was voted out next. It sounds like Ozzy might not be as accepting of her presence!
Lol. That would add some drama for the next Life at Ponderosa.
Lol. That would add some drama for the next Life at Ponderosa.
To bad there is no chance of that happening. James, Eric (or Amanda) next week....and the week after and the week after....
Posted By Bacchus: To bad there is no chance of that happening. James, Eric (or Amanda) next week....and the week after and the week after....
:( Sadly this is very true. Parvatie will not be going home.....and Cirie will not be going home. My guess is that they will vote out James, then Erik, and then Amanda. (that is if they don't win immunity)........ Lol I had a thought... What if Cirie actually made it to the final 3.....and WON! That would single handedly make me stop watching Survivor. lol j/k.
I do not like Cerie. I just simply can not stand the woman. BUT... if she outwits, outlasts and outplays the others to make it to the end, I'll applaud her for doing what smarter, stronger and more skilled players could not do, and I will respect her for it all. Survivor is not a fan popularity contest; to make it one shames the purity of the game, the cast, and the fans.
Survivor is not a fan popularity contest; to make it one shames the purity of the game, the cast, and the fans.
My biggest issue is that the game is called "Survivor." There should be something to do with literal surviving involved with the format. In the old days if you did nothing around camp, could not fish etc - you were voted off. It was an advantage to a tribe to keep stronger players so they could get more food etc and that would help in them as a group sticking around and having the numbers at the merge. These days outdoors survival has nothing to do with it. They seem to have all the fresh drinking water they need, bags of rice, and it looks like their camps have been outfitted by LL Bean, with machetes, tarps, pillows, pots, pans, fishing gear et al. This is why Cirie is still around. There is no longer any survival in Survivor. I guess I can't blame her for taking advantage of the fact that the spirit of the show has been diluted. I just wish they would re-evaluate the game and bring back the importance of winning rather then make losing a preferred outcome (to get rid of all your competition at no cost.)

Producers just can't let the game play out now as they did in most earlier seasons. That said, I'm going to the finale anyway. Wouldn't miss it, no matter who wins.
Posted by V1man: That said, I'm going to the finale anyway. Wouldn't miss it, no matter who wins.
You are going to the finale?! That would be awsome. I haven't ever been to a reality show finale....considering I live in Kentucky and most of the finale's take place in California. lol.

This season it is in NY at the David Letterman Theatre (It's the old "Ed Sullivan Theatre.) Can't possibly miss it since I have a couple of friends in this cast.
how does one get tix to this type of event? It's live right? I'd love to go!
how does one get tix to this type of event? It's live right? I'd love to go!
Why, you ask... I know I'm going to hate myself later for this reply, but I simply can't resist this image as allegory...
Hey would that be Colbalt Ontario, Canada? By any chance? I live just over an hour away from there. Guess that would explain a lot about me, eh? ;) Anyway, I think the live show is going to be explosive just like it was on the all-star season. I definitely want the deets of what happens during the commercial breaks.

I realize I may have walked with out looking into a double meaning here, so please be kind. ;) I just saw the sign and I say hey that's Cobalt. LOL

Just to Clarify: A ********** is a type of mine. In the western United States during the Gold Rush days, independent miners who did not have the finances to dig a conventional mine shaft would dig a shaft straight down to try to find a gold seam. These perpendicular shafts became known as "glory holes". ...although I am sure there are other conotations for the word. Its just the context there is hilarious!
Well survivor comes on tonight and I am hoping to have Cirie, Parvatie, or Nat. on the next Life at Ponderosa. :) It would be great if one of them went home! ESPECIALLY CIRIE!

Part of me wants tell you to ***k yourself...but I don't wanna ruin the good vibes of the forum. **** response, though. seriously.
Well i looked on youtube for a life at ponderosa
alexis
but I don't think it will be on there for an hour or two. But I will post it as soon as I find it. (for those of you that have trouble watching it on CBS.com.)
Oh, i thought they didnt upload til the next day...sweet. yeah ill keep a lookout for it too
Wait... they might not put it out till the next day. Sorry, I think I got alittle ahead of myself. It will be on cbs.com definitely at 12:00. I don't know what I was thinking. Not everyone has seen Survivor yet so they won't post a ponderosa until everyone has seen it..... 12:00am eastern time.
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. Thanks, V1. Thanks for your reply. Part of me wants tell you to ***k yourself...but I don't wanna ruin the good vibes of the forum. **** response, though. seriously.
You brought tears to my eyes... rofl.
I don't fully understand your hostile and unnecessary sarcasm towards me...but whatever. No one wants to read this BS anyways. And neither do I.
Sooooooooooooooo back to the original question, CBS did a contest for tix but it ended yesterday. Someone on Yahoo Answers said to keep an eye out on CBS, though its likely too late now. Aaaand another posting I read says the in-studio audience is rather small and mostly media, family, friends, etc. Seems like a simple answer.
This is off the subject, but I can't wait to hear what the Jury thought about Amanda using the idol. You know they will probably talk about on the next Life at Ponderosa.
I don't fully understand your hostile and unnecessary sarcasm towards me...but whatever. No one wants to read this BS anyways. And neither do I.
Hey, it's neither hostile nor sarcastic toward you in the slightest,. Think "funny." The earlier image was not a reply to you but, as I mentioned, It was an allegory on how one gets tickets to these things... by performing an unnatural sexual act illegal in some states.
... by performing an unnatural sexual act illegal in some states.
....but seemingly the status quo in Cobalt Canada?
....but seemingly the status quo in Cobalt Canada?
Well, up here in these parts we do have a high teen pregnancy rate per capita, so it may be the extensive exploration of the**********. I mean, come on what else is there to do? Play hockey?
Well, here is the new Life at Ponderosa (3 videos). James and Alexsis. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB2qYLyxgpU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3rGKtR8gYZI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYv0hmM2aUk
