Real World Hollywood: Ep. 2 - Just Say No
Joey struggles to resist partying; Kimberly and Sarah challenge Brianna; Davids goals become clear; Sarah tries to set boundaries.
We have all seen the preview and now it is time to find out if the episode lives up to the hype. As most of us know, the first episode is usually where everything happens and then the wheels fall off the series (except for maybe a big moment or two every 6 weeks.) This year just seems different and I have a feeling that we will see continued momentum (at least for the foreseeable future.) Will Dave awake from his slumber? Wll Brianna send Kim back to South Carolina in a body bag? Will Joey begin down the road of destruction? Will Greg just shut the ***k up? I guess we will find out tonight.
I just don't see Greg ever shutting the ***k up...he likes to hear himself speak too much.

Oh, BTW I am considering taking bets on how many times we will hear "I have a boyfriend" come out of Sarah's mouth between tonights episode and all the dailies videos...
Oh, BTW I am considering taking bets on how many times we will hear "I have a boyfriend" come out of Sarah's mouth between tonights episode and all the dailies videos...
Should we make a drinking game out of it? :sarcastic:
Kim says something ignorant
Hey, slow down there Ruthie! I was cool with a friendly drinking game, but I can't get hammered tonight.

I am so in for the drinking game! But yeah, we must leave Kimmy's ignorance out of it...I do have to work tomorrow.
Greg seems personable in this episode. At least, with Will. :sofa:

I know the real Greg. I loved the Joey smackdown action on the "Guy from the bar." Ouch! ...and why was Sarah inviting random guys over anyways? She must really love her boyfriend! BTW: Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink, Drink and Drink!

I felt like I was watching a rerun after seeing all this on Real World Dailies..the only thing that was new was the confessionals.
Then don't watch the dailies. This might have been brought up before, but why are the episodes an hour long now? Same for G3. Ratings reasons?
I felt like I was watching a rerun after seeing all this on Real World Dailies..the only thing that was new was the confessionals.
The Real World Dallies amounts to watching the feeds for Big Brother and then tuning into the show afterwards. You see all the dramatic stuff play out previous to air. I personally plan to stick to the show itself unless there is a real compelling reason to watch a given video. Overall I thought it was an action packed episode. There was more going on this week then all of last season. We had Bri and Joey. Kim and Dave. Will and Sarah. Greg and Greg. All sorts of sexual tension. The Bri-Kim fight was fun (although I wish it would have come to blows) and the table has been set for Joey's downfall. I knew the second it was announced that the new season would be in Hollywood that we were looking at Vegas 2.0 - with more sex, more booze and a hell of a lot more drama. Thus far it does not disappoint. BTW: Dave-O, Easy on the peer pressure man!
yeah, I won't be watching them anymore...spoils the show, I don't care if the cuss words are bleeped, LOL.
This season has real promise. It seems so much more grown up for some reason. MUCH BETTER CASTING than in Sydney. WOW. They party, yes. They do some stupid shit, yes. But their reactions from everything , their tones, idk everything seems a little more grown up (I think 2 of them are 24+ right?) It seems like this will be a solid season. Joey seems like such a good guy. It's going to be sad to see him deconstruct =/
I completely agree on the age level. It's been tough trying to watch the most recent Real World's, and I actually think I will enjoy tuning in each and every Wednesday night. I love Dave... he seems hilarious. BUT, I'm not digging the the peer pressure thing where Joey is concerned. I mean, I understand he has no clue about it yet, but if you know someone can get "violent" when they drink, I believe it's best to not encourage them! I can't wait to see how Bri progresses through this season! I really do like everyone this season!
i read stuff here about joey, and it seems as people were pretty hard on him. i don't want to see him self destruct either. he does seem like a decent guy who is trying to overcome his past. obviously he had a very tough childhood and i am glad he chose a path that fosters positive health choices. i hope he does well. does anyone know what episode he leaves? and is it voluntarily? i just found out that i live a few suburbs away from him.
does anyone know what episode he leaves? and is it voluntarily?
Not sure what episode, but it is soon and he is not sent home but rather forced into rehab. I was told he choose to go home after rehab on his own accord (but don't quote me.)
Like Ruthie? But she came back, obv.
