Okay, I don't like Amanda at ALL. But can we stop with that kind of stuff, there is plenty of ammo to make fun of her without bringing that in. Not trying to be humorless, but I did think Joshua took things too far with his low blow about her father.

I was mocking only because she is so fake about it. Sure it is a touchy subject but her dramatic overacting turns it from taboo, to do. If I thought that she was genuine in the least bit, I'd be a bit more cautious with my barbs. However, that issue for her is just an emotional out which allows her to showcase her thespian talents.

Well from the episode tonight, I just can't see how she is actually as upset about the whole thing as she put on in this video...I mean she kept "swearing on her dad"...Not saying people wouldn't be sad about their father's suicide, but it doesn't seem to be TOO sore of a subject. I would never "swear on" any of my dead relatives that I was devasted about. I just wonder if she is trying to use it to get sympathy points. I mean she obviously brings it up multiple times and it's in her bio for cryin' out loud....maybe a little Diem or Johnny Fairplay-ish tactics??
Either way, I'd vote her off due to nothing other than her annoying baby talk voice.

Oh, and I don't doubt that she's using it as sympathy points. But still insults like that just don't sit well with me. And Joshua's comment just gives her more ammo for sympathy, and it really doesn't show him in a good light, despite how ridiculous Amanda is.
As much of a stalker as Alex is, I have zero sympathy for Amanda. I agree, if it is such a touchy issue why does she bring it up all the time? I SWEAR ON MY DEAD FATHERS GRAVE - blah blah blah...
I struggled to make it though last night's episode. I am almost at the point of calling it quits. There is not one person I can pull for as I hate them all.
I know. I can see how her making a mockery out of her fathers death is an invitation for everyone else to. But I say Amanda is fair game as she signed up for the show. Aaaand she's a ridiculous idiot. But mocking her fathers death (including her own mockery of it) doesn't just affect her, it affects everyone who cared about the man and struggled to love someone with mental illness problems. And just because she does it doesn't mean everyone else has to stoop to that, ya know? That's all I'm sayin. ;)

I'm actually hoping they will cancel the show early so I will be forced to forget about it. What would happen if they cancel the show before the "Contest" is finished? Does nobody get the money and they all just go home with there tails between their legs? That would be a great ending.
