Real World: Smoking Gun Odds
The Smoking Gun is waiting... It is time for our first annual "Real World: Odds of showing up on the front page of The Smoking Gun" Challenge!" Here are my totally unscientific, fictional, top 4! Dunar - 3:2 Most likely charge: Domestic Violence Dummybear has shown that he has little control over his vicious temper and in the previews for the second half of the season we can see him coming within inches of hitting Ashli while smashing down on a bench. It is not that far fetched that his verbal and psychical behavior toward women land this bear's mugshot on the cover of TSG soon. Shauvon - 2:1 Most likely charge: Drunk & Disorderly Conduct Shauvon has little control over her actions once she has had a few drinks. Looking back at the bottled water incident and grill cheese breakdown it is quite clear that she is only a drink or two away from doing something that will land her in the county clink for the night and a prime placement on TSG. Trisha - 7:2 Most likely charge: Assault We are awaiting the episode where Trisha pushes Parisa but we know that if that would have happened in the United States and Parisa wanted to press charges - Trisha would have been arrested for assault. Guessing that she has not learned her lesson it is almost a sure thing that Miss Cummings most famous picture will not include the famous Sydney Opera House in the background! Ashli - 5:1 Most likely charge: Tax Evasion It only took two episodes to realize this girl is a snake and it probably would be safe to assume that her slimy demeanor extends to more then just being a **** sexually open person. This prediction is really out of left field, but if she puts as much effort as we have seen into being a *****, cheating on her taxes with all that soon to be acquired bar tour money doesn't really seem that far fetched!
I'm putting all my money on the Dunbar domestic violance charge.... watch out Julie!!!!
I'm putting all my money on the Dunbar domestic violance charge.... watch out Julie!!!!
It is really hard to pick a "favorite" with this cast as they are all so very criminally inclined!
dunbar is always on the verge of losing it. he shows all the classic abuser signs when he talks and interacts with julie. i think you should up his odds a bunch.
dunbar is always on the verge of losing it. he shows all the classic abuser signs when he talks and interacts with julie. i think you should up his odds a bunch.
"You made me go to the bar mad at you" "It hurts me more then it hurts you!" These lines are ripped right from an domestic abuse manual. I bet the other night if Julie watched the episode with Dunbar when he got in bed with Ashli he was probably saying, " See what you made me do!" *Sigh*
"I bet the other night if Julie watched the episode with Dunbar when he got in bed with Ashli he was probably saying, " See what you made me do!" *Sigh*
yeah, that is a cl***ic DV type of explination...it is always the girls fault. I would not be suprised if we hear about Julie moving on and Dunbar stalking her and doing something unthinkable to her or someone she loves. He is a pathetic **** who really gets on my nerves everytime he "blows up" I am so glad I am not on his season, I woud have already gotten in to it with him big time...his psycho *** probably would have hurt me in my sleep out of retaliation for standing up to him, it is sad that no one else seems to have the balls to put him in his place.
I would not be suprised if we hear about Julie moving on and Dunbar stalking her and doing something unthinkable to her or someone she loves.
I actually stop by her myspace page everyday. I am just waiting for the little sign to flip from "In a relationship" to "Single" and I think the odds go up after each episode... Hopefully when that time does come she has a good family support structure to shield her from the inevitable.
I have a baaad feeling that if she hasn't broke up with him by now, it's probably not going to happen anytime soon. Any girl that puts up with a guy who talks down to her and who sleeps in bed with other girls obviously has low self esteem. And girls with low self worth have a seriously effed up way of thinking and twist everything around in their heads. Such as they might be flattered that even with all the female attention Dunbar recieves, that he still wants to come back to her at the end of the day. Or she may very well buy into some of his borderline cheating behavior is her fault. I don't know Julie, but that is just my hunch.
I have a baaad feeling that if she hasn't broke up with him by now, it's probably not going to happen anytime soon.
wow that is a very sick though. she will forgive him as she is just not worthy and thankful that he returns? how sad. once you are trapped in a relationship like that it is almost impossible to escape. she has been conditioned to think that when something goes wrong in the relationship it is her fault everytime! i'd like to see what the other cast members feel about this now that they have seen what we have seen.
What's really scary is that I wrote Dunbar on myspace once and told him just what I thought of the way he spoke to Parisa at work a few episodes back. I posted his response on a thread here somewhere, and he ended it with saying that at that time if Parisa were a guy he would have beaten him up. Now that's a real southern gentleman, don't ya think????

I THOUGHT CT WAS BAD BUT NOW WATCH OUT FUTURE CHALLENGE I HOPE THAT THEY FIRE THE CASTING DIRECTOR, AND THEY TOTALLY STRAYED FROM THEYRE CONCEPT ITS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT 7 STRANGERS IN A HOUSE NOT 3 ***** 1 WIFE BEATER AND 3 NORMAL PPL
Ya, I know, he is messed up. Even months later, he isn't apologetic and shows no remorse. I dug up the message I received from him some odd weeks ago....
I hope you realize that what you see on tv is horribly edited, and designed to make me come off a certain way. Parisa was a complete ***** to me for several weeks, including the week Julie was visiting, The reason I go off on her at the beginning of the episode is because for 30 min I listened to her talk shit about me in the confessional just prior ( you didn't see that, and you would be pretty angry too), at work she lost our petty cash receipts, which cost me several hundred dollars of my money, it was her only job to get those receipts, she didn't, and worse wasn't apologetic about the situation. If that were a "real" job she would have been fired. I desperately needed money at the time and she, in a very Parisa way, tried to blame it on everyone in the room instead of take responsibility for it. Not to mention she was a complete ***** to Julie. In short, at that moment, if Parisa were a guy, I would of beat the shit out of her. Gain some perspective

Ya, I know, he is messed up. Even months later, he isn't apologetic and shows no remorse.
Did you ever follow this up? I wonder if he is still answering myspace messages. Just about everywhere I go I find people saying that they are messaging him and calling him Dummy Bear. The funny part is that he was totally right about it becoming a thing! Of course it would have never gotten air time if he wasn't such an *** about it... I am sure his hate mail has increased dramatically over the last few episodes.
Nah, never even bothered to write him back again. I figured I said my piece and he gave me his lame explanation, so there wasn't much else to say....
