Big Brother is a real addiction of mine, so I am looking forward to it but at the same time know my contact with the outside world is going to further decrease once the 24/7 feeds start rolling!

I think this is just a one time thing due to the writers strike. CBS needed more reality tv to compete with the other networks. Who knows maybe this winter installment will bring higher ratings than the summer. But I doubt CBS will ever run it during the season in regular times.

That's including the regular Thursdays right? What do they mean additional Sundays? The last couple of years it aired on Sunday instead of the original Saturday.

No. It is going to be just Tuesday, Wednesday and Sundays with Sunday being the live eviction show.
They should really work on their layman's terms in press releases. They made that way more convoluted then it needed to be!
